The Director of Public Affairs will work with the CEO and Senior Management Team to raise our profile and influence policy, unlock and steward resource and build new partnerships, in order to facilitate growth in impact. They will do this by getting the most out of our high performing Public Affairs team, which covers policy, research, advocacy and communications - as well as working across teams and with the Board to ensure Impetus is well positioned externally.

Key responsibilities

Fundraising and income generation

• Work with Impetus CEO and SMT to support the delivery of the Impetus strategy and business plan and deliver the public affairs milestones to time and within budget.
• Champion and contribute to embedding equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) across all areas of Impetus' work, ensuring that EDI principles related to Impetus’ mission are reflected in advocacy, stakeholder engagement, communications and public positioning.
• Vision setting and strong line management of the Public Affairs team, developing their capabilities, representing the team at SMT and to the Board and ensuring it continues to make a valuable - and valued - contribution to the achievement of Impetus’s objectives, through building and implementing high quality work plans for the team and ensuring the wider Impetus team is aligned on these.
• Increase awareness, understanding and trust in Impetus among key stakeholders, through regular, thoughtful engagement with the sector and securing high profile media coverage.
• Raise awareness of the education and employment gaps faced by young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and what we can do to break down the barriers they face - through research, policy positioning and effective communications.
• Build a positive reputation for Impetus in government and parliament and among funders, as a source of expertise on how to improve the education and employment outcomes of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and as a trusted interlocutor and partner, building on and leveraging the many relationships already established.
• Ensure that all advocacy is supported by high quality research and evidence, with our policy and research agenda well aligned to supporting the delivery of Impetus’ strategy.
• Ensure a positive media profile, continuing to build on the base established to build awareness among the media of Impetus’s expertise and content.
• Position Impetus as a ‘sought-after’ collaborative partner for other organisations with shared objectives; including regularly representing Impetus at relevant sector events.
• Support the delivery of our fundraising strategy and the successful delivery of our events programme, in particular, our flagship Transforming Lives Dinner.
• Where appropriate, collaborate with our portfolio partners to support their public affairs work and to leverage relevant partnerships, drawing on their insights to inform Impetus’ work.
• Contribute to the successful performance of the Senior Management Team, and provide expert advice to them, as well as to Trustees, on all public affairs-related activities and in the implementation of the broader strategy, engaging with decisions and challenges across the organisation.
• Oversee the running of our Public Affairs Committee (PAC), leveraging their skills, expertise and influence for the good of Impetus.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Head of Financial Operations & Control is a pivotal senior leadership role, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of all financial records across The Courtauld and its subsidiaries. You will oversee core financial operations, reporting, tax and treasury management, investment support, regulatory compliance, and risk management, playing a key role in safeguarding the financial stability and integrity of the institution.

· Significant experience in managing financial control and operations including VAT, Tax relief, treasury in a charitable/education/not-for-profit organisation of similar size and complexity

· Able to self-sufficiently lead a smooth, accurate and timely year end process

· Strong technical expertise in accounting standards, able to ensure correct accounting treatment of restricted, unrestricted and endowment income

· A proven track record of leading finance teams and driving process improvements, thriving to develop a best-in-class finance function

· Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence at a senior level

· Experience in investment and endowment accounting is strongly desirable

Whitechapel Gallery is seeking a talented and hands-on Finance Business Partner (Accounts and Reporting) to bring clarity, insight and practical support to our financial reporting. In this role you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the accuracy, compliance and integrity of our accounts while helping colleagues across the Gallery make confident financial decisions and deliver world-class exhibitions and programmes.

Working closely with the Director of Finance and departmental heads you will prepare monthly management accounts, consolidations and statutory returns and support budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning. • Prepare monthly management accounts for Whitechapel Gallery and Whitechapel Gallery Ventures.

Post Title: Director of Clinical Services - Psychotherapy

Reporting to: CEO

Line Management Reports: Clinical Managers, Outreach Therapist/s, and support staff.

Salary£56,800 pro rata plus pension

Key Responsibilities: Strategic Functions

 Working with the Board/ Trustees to develop ICAP’s clinical strategy including:

Ensure icap’s strategic objectives are understood and supported across the Clinical service. Review the Client Contribution policy to include full cost charging for services.

Oversee the Implementation and roll out of CORE CMS across the service. (New project)

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

 Clinical Leadership and Management experience in a small or similar organisation. Managing and working with minoritised or deprived groups with multiple barriers and limited access to psychotherapy. Experience of producing Board reports and working with commissioners, developing funding applications, and service level agreements for Clinical services. Experience of Clinical Governance and reporting targets and outcomes.

Training and 6+ years direct experience in using psychotherapeutic and trauma informed approaches with recognised post graduate psychotherapy qualification. Accreditation with either BPC, UKCP, BACP, ICP, NCPS and/or IACP. Evidence of up-to-date practice as recommended by relevant professional body.

Knowledge and experience of SharePoint and the Microsoft suite of tools.

We are seeking a Finance and Governance Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team and lead the Trust’s finance, governance, and back-office functions. This is a pivotal role focused on ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective charity governance. While not involved in field-based project delivery, the Finance Manager plays a strategic role in supporting the organisation’s mission by enabling robust financial planning, reporting, and operational support. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Finance Officer to join our mental health charity, to support and deliver effective, efficient financial processes and compliance with financial regulations and data protection to ensure the smooth and effective running of the organisation.

This role will lead all global financial accounting and statutory reporting.
