Overview/Purpose
To lead, deliver and continuously improve a programme of work that communicates the long-term environmental and social impact of a major infrastructure asset in London. This role will be central to shaping how the organisation demonstrates its legacy and future value across three interconnected areas:

• Environmental Impact & Data Reporting - analysing and presenting tunnel performance data, including water quality improvements, in collaboration with research institutions and internal teams.
• Strategic Partnerships & Responsible Business - managing and evaluating partnerships that support sustainability, social value, and community engagement, while identifying new opportunities for impact.
• Sustainability Strategy & Thought Leadership - contributing to the organisation's positioning as a responsible asset manager and leader in ESG, supporting senior stakeholders with credible insights and content for external forums and publications.

The role holder will ensure these programmes are delivered effectively, with a focus on strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement. They will work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, communications, and operations, and will be responsible for integrating ESG metrics into reporting frameworks aligned with industry standards. This is a hands-on, purpose-driven role suited to someone passionate about sustainability, public value, and infrastructure excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy

• Develop and evolve the organisation's impact and sustainability strategy to reflect its transition from infrastructure delivery to asset management.
• Shape and communicate the long-term environmental and social value of the project, including its contribution to water quality, public health, and urban resilience.
• Support the leadership team with strategic insights and data to position the organisation as a thought leader in ESG and infrastructure excellence.
• Align sustainability and impact initiatives with broader organisational goals and stakeholder expectations.

Management and Oversight

• Lead the reporting and communication of tunnel performance data, including environmental metrics and partnership outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate existing partnerships, including those focused on social value, community engagement, and responsible business practices.
• Deliver clear, accessible reports and presentations on tunnel impact, including carbon emissions and ESG metrics.
• Manage external contracts and partnerships, ensuring performance and value for money.

Stakeholder Engagement

Skills & Experience Required
Essential

• Proven experience in sustainability, impact management, ESG, or infrastructure-related roles.
• Strong understanding of environmental governance, social value, and sustainable finance.
• Ability to interpret and communicate technical data to diverse audiences, including water quality and carbon emission metrics.
• Experience managing partnerships and evaluating programme outcomes.

The Opportunity

This role at WFN provides an exciting opportunity to lead on the development of our growing Winner Network Development (WND) programme, identified as one of the charity’s key areas for strategic growth and maximised impact over the coming years. We are looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing communicator who is passionate about conservation and can drive forward and create connections between our global network of over 220 conservationists, fostering knowledge exchange, capacity development and collaboration. As part of this programme the Grants and Network Manager (GNM) will help with delivery of annual thematic training workshops, with opportunity for international travel. The GNM will also assist our Head of Grants (HG) in monitoring our portfolio of active grants, with support from the Grants Assistant (GA). The GNM will also participate in the Whitley Awards application process by helping to screen the grant applications and supporting with due diligence. If you have a conservation background, and experience with capacity development programmes, proactively managing growing networks, and monitoring active grants, then this is the role for you.

GRANTS AND NETWORK MANAGER - PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

Essential:

· MSc or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Conservation/ Zoology/ Environmental Science)

· Experience cultivating and managing networks of people, with a proven track record of successful engagement and network growth

· Requisite experience in managing a portfolio of active grants within the environmental NGO sector including ongoing monitoring and evaluation

· Past experience with capacity development initiatives and/or facilitating trainings and events, including organising logistics

· Demonstrable understanding of grassroots conservation projects, issues, and solutions

You will be managed by Jamil De Dominicis. Jamil joined ClientEarth in 2019 and is based in London. As Global Head of Grants, he leads the Grants Management team and oversees ClientEarth’s grants income from trusts, foundations and other statutory and institutional funders. Prior to joining ClientEarth, Jamil worked in various policy, research and grant management roles at the international affairs think tank Chatham House and the National Foundation for Youth Music.

Main Duties

• Manage a portfolio of grants from key Trusts, Foundations and statutory funders. Ensure that funders are aware of project performance, and that ClientEarth’s implementation is always in compliance with grant agreements. 
• Develop and produce well researched and comprehensive proposals and reports to existing donors that meet funding priorities and requirements, within the submission deadline and oversee the coordination of Programme, Development and Finance teams as required for effective grant management. 
• Work closely with the Global Head of Grants, Grants Management Lead and wider Development Leadership on budget forecasts and donor pipeline to ensure effective, joined-up cultivation of prospects and income generation. 
• Oversee, review and, as appropriate, sign–off on the work of line managed staff (including reports, proposal, and other written material for internal and external purposes). 
• Support the Global Head of Grants to develop and implement the team’s annual planning and wider fundraising strategy.

The Criminal Justice Services Manager will manage and develop all aspects of Birth Companions’ criminal justice-based services and line-manage the criminal justice services Coordinators, (currently three staff members but this likely to increase as we expand our services).

They will develop and maintain strategic partnerships with other relevant agencies and ensure the successful delivery of services through internal monitoring and evaluation, external evaluation and the charity’s governance structures.

The Criminal Justice Services Manager will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of new prison and wider criminal justice system-based services through stakeholder engagement and service design where opportunities are identified.

The Criminal Justice Services Manager will also contribute to the policy, engagement and strategic work of the organisation where appropriate.

The Direct Marketing Manager has operational and strategic responsibility in developing and implementing the Islamic Relief UK direct marketing programme. This includes the following key direct marketing channels: Email, SMS, Direct Mail, OOH and DRTV. The Oxfordshire Homelessness Alliance (the Alliance) is a group of organisations (Local government, A2 Dominion, Aspire, Connection Support, Elmore, Homeless Oxfordshire and St Mungo’s) that came together in 2022 to deliver single homelessness services across the county under one contract.

Services delivered by the Alliance include the city and county outreach services for people experiencing rough sleeping, supported accommodation such as the hostel O’Hanlon House, shared dispersed supported accommodation, and homelessness prevention services.

The Alliance is commissioned through a pooled annual budget of c£3.8m which all District Councils in Oxfordshire, the City Council, the County Council, and the Berkshire, Oxfordshire, and Buckinghamshire Integrated Care Services, contribute towards. Oxfordshire County Council and Oxford City are the lead commissioners of the Alliance. 

As part of the initiative, the Alliance will deliver an ambitious housing led change programme which is seeing services remodelled to support and enable people to live in their own homes and fulfil their aspirations. 

This role is hosted by Connection Support which is part of the Oxfordshire Homelessness Alliance. The role will be guided by the work plan of both the alliance chair and the alliance commissioners.

The impact you will have

As the Oxfordshire Homelessness Alliance Programme Manager, you will play a pivotal role in making the alliance and the services it delivers a success. You will provide strategic and operational oversight and day to day leadership and management.

You will strive to improve the services that are delivered by working closely with the Alliance Leadership and Management Team, partners, commissioners, and organisations working to put an end to homelessness. What you’ll do

ShareAction’s Banking Standards team works towards holding financial institutions accountable for their impact on climate change. We have a history of campaigning on key aspects of banks’ climate strategies – such as their emission reduction targets or fossil fuel policies – and we are gradually expanding our work to include other sustainability themes and banking regulation. We have achieved significant wins, such as contributing to HSBC becoming the world’s largest bank to cease financing for new oil and gas fields, Barclays dramatically reducing its oil sands financing, and mobilising investors to call on Societe Generale to set a renewable energy target.

The team is structured around two main pillars: our campaigning and our research pillar. The research pillar ensures that the team’s campaigning and advocacy work is based on sound analysis and facts. The Senior Research Manager oversees the research pillar, currently composed of three more junior researchers. The Senior Research Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a research strategy that underpins campaign needs for analysis and insight in line with campaign timelines and available resources. You will oversee and contribute to the delivery of high-quality research outputs, including thematic reports, investor briefings, and surveys of Europe’s largest banks, and ensure that they are underpinned by clear and robust research methodologies. Alongside the Head of Banking Programme and the Senior Campaign Manager, you’ll act as an ambassador for the team in external forums, the media, and when meeting with and presenting to external stakeholders, including banks, civil society organisations, and investors.

As a key member of the programmes team, the post holder will be responsible for planning and implementing a portfolio of impactful programmes across Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe using sport as a development tool for social change.

They will be responsible for managing a diverse sport for development portfolio, providing high level programme support, financial oversight, monitoring and evaluation technical expertise and capacity building support to our global implementing partners. This role will involve working closely with the Senior Programmes and Grants Managers, aiming always to ensure Sport for Good makes progress towards its Vision. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To develop and manage a caseload of grants, including institutional and internal grants. This includes assessing competencies of organisations and developing organisational plans with grantees
• To support the ongoing development of grantees through capacity building, and providing networking opportunities
• To support the Sport for Good Development Team in their applications to institutional funders, trusts and foundations, providing input and advice as requested
• To ensure grant-management requirements for Sport for Good and external funding are met successfully
• To work closely with grantees responsibly to source narratives of individual and community transformation to support development of donor relationships and communication 
• To provide good customer care to grantees, maintaining regular but appropriate contact and safeguarding their interests
• To undertake monitoring trips, conducting site assessments to international and UK based projects
• To source new, innovative projects in line with Sport for Good’s funding criteria
• To assist in raising the standards of child protection within Sport for Good’s portfolio

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience from working in a charity or foundation with focus on international development
• Experience of submitting successful funding proposals to institutional donors and trusts and foundations
• Strong track record of successful management of all reporting requirements associated with grants received from third parties
• Good project management skills, with experience delivering or grant-managing projects internationally; able to work on multiple tasks and to prioritise these to meet deadlines
• Affinity to sport, understanding of sport as a power for development 
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative
• Basic budgeting and financial management experience, able to understand the link between finance and operations
• Ability to work cross-organisationally with multiple stakeholders in the realisation of shared goals
• Confident communicator and convenor, particularly in  written reports, external communications, presentations and with people whose first language is not English
• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships to achieve objectives with international partners
• Written and oral fluency in English is required
• Fluency in a second language (in addition to English) is required, preferrably French
