About the role
As Financial Planning & Reporting (FP&R) Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting for Save the Children UK and its subsidiaries. This includes producing compliant statutory accounts and managing the external audit process. You will also play a key role in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated management reports for internal stakeholders and for submission to Save the Children International. The role involves cross-team collaboration and supports finance transformation and improvement projects to enhance efficiency and impact.
In this role, you will:
• Lead the preparation and delivery of compliant statutory financial reports for Save the Children UK and its subsidiaries.
• Manage the external audit process, ensuring timely submission of high-quality documentation to mitigate audit issues.
• Produce insightful financial analysis for senior stakeholders, including the Executive Leadership Team, Board, and Finance Committee.
• Take ownership of key financial controls, particularly around income recognition and foreign exchange, while identifying and addressing control improvements.
• Collaborate with Save the Children International to produce and submit financial returns and support global reporting efforts.
• Drive enhancements to financial processes and reporting through participation in finance initiatives and projects across SCUK and the global movement.
About you
To be successful, it is important that you have:
• Qualification as a professional accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK statutory financial reporting requirements, including the Charities SORP, and experience managing audits in complex organisations.
• Proven ability to produce clear, concise financial analysis and reports that support strategic decision-making.
• Experience working with complex financial systems and extracting and analysing data to support financial insight.
• Ability to lead improvements in financial processes and reporting efficiency, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Ways of Working:

Overview:
The role of is a senior position within the Young Lewisham Project. The role is responsible for the workshop staff, young people and project management of the referral groups and activities. Managing staff, maintaining participant’s records and ensuring all administration required for OCN and other qualifications are kept up to date and in order.
Accountability

The purpose of this post is to provide leadership and management of the Young Lewisham Project workshops to achieve the operational goals of the project.

Oversee and improve attendance
Principal Duties
To oversee the delivery of Young Lewisham Project programmes and activities.
To provide supervision and support to workshop project staff and volunteers to ensure co-ordination and effective team work within Young Lewisham and individual projects/groups.
To actively promote the services of the project through appropriate channels and on appropriate platforms.
To co-ordinate and facilitate good relationships with partners and attend multi agency meetings where necessary.

To work in a multi-disciplinary way by: building and maintaining relationships with partners, sharing information in line with the Data Protection Act and Young Lewisham policies; attending relevant meetings as necessary
Monitoring and Reporting
Responsible for maintaining and developing systems of monitoring that can capture and analyse performance data to track progress of individual projects against outputs and outcomes
Responsible for producing timely and accurate reports for the Management Committee and external funders.

Role Purpose
The Role will be responsible for the entry and review of financial transactions from various sources including purchase invoices, payment cards and bank transactions.
The organisation has grown from managing 8 entities three years ago to 22 at present. We have 41 accounts across 5 different banking institutions (in both USD and GBP) and multiple credit/debit cards. You will need to be adaptable with an open mindset and able to work with uncertainty and change.
We have recently implemented new accounting software (Iplicit) to better manage the multiple entities in our portfolio. This role will act as a key part of the finance function now the new system is live.

Processing of purchase ledger transactions (including VAT entries) for 22 legal entities, in multi-currency, ensuring accurate re-allocation to other entities where appropriate

Our Data Operations Managers sit within Product and Systems Management team.
Our Data Operations Managers have a key role in ensuring our end to end processes are working through our central CRM system. These processes include the processing of our income through the system such as Gift Aid, regular giving and special events, Direct Debits.
This role also ensures our end to end data flows are fit for purpose and that data within it are clean, accessible and available.
This role is responsible for:
- Custodian of our CRM data and responsible for major data import/export into the system including data validation, de-duplication, cleansing and fixing of data throughout the multiple data systems.
- Responsible for the curation and management of import and export routines of key fundraising data using appropriate tools.
- Responsible for forming and managing how the functions work within the Organisation to build key relationships with key data users to ensure data is correctly ingested
- Responsible for defining and setting standards and principles of data use in the system and fully enforcing these principles across the Organisation and to suppliers.
- Maintenance of legacy systems and processes where necessary
For this role we’re looking for:
- SQL (SSIS, SSRS) knowledge
- Knowledge of Dynamics CRM 365 and associated technology
- Working knowledge of KingswaySoft
- Knowledge of deduplication techniques
- Proven data management skills and experience

About the role
