As General Manager, you will:

Scope of role
The Debt Advisor is responsible for providing comprehensive, video debt advice to prisoners across thirteen (13) HMPPS sites, tailored to their specific circumstances. This role involves conducting detailed interviews to understand clients’ financial problems, researching options, and helping clients make informed decisions. The advisor ensures income maximisation and provides ongoing casework support, acting on behalf of clients where necessary. Maintaining up-to-date case records and staying informed about relevant legislation, policies, and procedures are crucial aspects of the role. The Debt Advisor is also expected to complete continuous professional development and contribute to the team’s overall objectives by meeting targets, prioritising workloads, and demonstrating financial efficiency. The may also be required to attend meetings on-site at various prisons and host workshops for prisoners.
Key Responsibilities
Accurate, effective and individually tailored advice
- Interviewing those that access our service using sensitive listening and questioning skills to allow them to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities.
- Researching and exploring options and implications so that those accessing our service can make informed decisions.
- Providing in-depth quality advice and on-gong casework, including acting for the client where necessary using appropriate communication skills and channels.
Detailed case records
- Maintaining detailed case records, ensuring that all work meets all auditing and quality standards and the requirements of the funder.
- Ensuring all case records and written up in a timely manner.
Up-to-date training
- Completing a minimum of 16 hours/ equivalent of technical debt advice DPD accredited training or qualifying activity.
- Maintaining an up-to-date record of all training sessions.
Teamwork
- Work to an agreed work-plan, meeting targets and milestones, whilst prioritising and managing your own workload.

JOB PURPOSE
Based within the global Fundraising team, the Programme Fundraising Manager will generate sustainable income and play a pivotal role in delivering fundraising strategies to support the mission and objectives of Lumos, including the 10-year ambition to be launched in November 2025.
Working with country programmes in Colombia, Kenya, Moldova and Ukraine, as well as the global system change programme, the postholder will manage a portfolio of donors and prospective donors, positioning Lumos to secure new and repeat funding from charitable trusts, foundations and institutions. The role will also provide advice and support to the wider Fundraising team, building team capacity and writing compelling proposals to engage High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) and other funders in Lumos programmes.
We are looking for a skilled relationship-builder and strategic thinker who has strong writing skills and experience working with donors. The postholder will work closely with colleagues across Programmes, Communications, Operations, and Finance, and act as a trusted partner to senior leaders across the organisation. KEY OBJECTIVES
Prospecting & Engagement
- Develop and manage a pipeline of short, medium and longer-term prospects for each programme area under the 10-year ambition through research, strategic positioning and targeted outreach
- Identify new funding opportunities and support programme teams to align donor interests with Lumos’ work, collaborating with colleagues to develop tailored approaches
- Project manage programme fundraising appeals (e.g. targeted Trust mailings) in coordination with the Programmes and Communications teams
- Stay informed of philanthropic trends and share donor insights across teams
- Represent Lumos in relevant networks and platforms to raise our profile and pursue funding opportunities.
Proposal Development
- Lead the development of high-quality, high-value proposals to secure new and repeat awards from charitable trusts, foundations, and institutional donors
- Work closely with Programme teams to shape and package funding propositions
- Draft compelling funding proposals and marketing materials as needed, including for HNWI
- Ensure proposals meet donor and internal requirements, in compliance with quality assurance, risk management, and sign-off processes
- Support the development of collaborative, efficient proposal development systems.
Awards Management
- Support senior leaders in managing key donor relationships through tactical advice, briefings, and pitch preparation
- Build and steward a portfolio of current and prospective donors, ensuring a high-quality engagement experience
- Work with internal teams to stay informed about funding gaps and strategic priorities
- Develop tools and guidance to support programme delivery teams in meeting donor requirements during implementation
- Contribute to organisation-wide funding management best practices and systems.
Reporting
· Coordinate timely, accurate and engaging donor reports that programme achievements and challenges in a strategic way, ensuring full compliance with donor rules and expectations
- Maintain up-to-date donor information, activity logs and opportunities in Salesforce
- Provide colleagues with donor insights to support planning, collaboration and engagement
- As required, produce internal reports on fundraising against income targets.

The Programme Fundraising Manager currently has no line management responsibility; however, the team is expected to grow in the coming years and the role may expand to manage and build the capacity of 1-2 fundraisers.

As Philanthropy Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Development team. You will actively manage a pool of individual donors to cultivate, steward and solicit donations for exhibitions, education, and programmes. Our collaboration with Asda on Cashpot for Schools is another example of unlocking support at scale. We have an exciting opportunity for a new member of staff to join Transport for All and support the delivery of our vision: Transport Justice for All Disabled People.
This role will lead on securing income from trusts and foundations for our projects and programmes. You will help to ensure that Transport for All remains financially sustainable, and can grow to meet the needs of our community. You’ll also drive cross-organisational use of the CRM database.

Your responsibilities
1. Fundraising strategy (10% of time)
· Work with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to set and deliver the fundraising strategy.
· Work across teams to identify opportunities to create projects and seek funding.
· Ensure all fundraising activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
· Report regularly to the Finance Committee and Board.
2. Trust and foundations fundraising (60% of time)
· Work with the Senior Leadership Team to identify projects and core costs for funding and develop realistic budgets.

· Work across teams to ensure continuation funding for existing projects and costs where needed.

3. Database management (20% of time)
· Ensure the CRM supports funding monitoring purposes and staff can use it for this purpose.

· Work with the Communications and Engagement team to put in place good stewardship of members, advice service users and other contacts via the CRM.
· Put in place supporter journeys that provide excellent stewardship.
4. Wider fundraising (10% of time)
· Explore, test and evaluate wider fundraising opportunities. This could include appeals, corporate fundraising, events, individual giving and legacy giving.
· Support the Training, Research and Consultancy team with bid and proposal writing on an ad hoc basis.
5. General (at all times)
· Undertake any other tasks, duties or projects which may arise from time to time which are in line with the general level of this post and as instructed.
· Undertake occasional evening and weekend work as required, and take responsibility for arranging time off in lieu with your manager.

Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the HR Manager – a new post - will be the principal HR point of contact and lead on the full breadth of day-to-day HR matters. They will make a pivotal key contribution to our aim to be an employer of choice, and overall to be an inclusive and positive place to work. Key responsibilities include:
Employee relations – Ensure that all of our employment documents such as contracts, policies, procedures, staff briefings and our staff handbook are kept up to date, reflect best practice and UK employment law, and that they are being applied across the organisation. Providing as appropriate, related information and support to managers and employees.
Line manager support – Develop, and maintain, a handbook for line managers, supplemented with periodic guidance; review and meet learning and development needs to ensure line managers are well-supported and able to perform their roles effectively.
HR systems and processes – Manage the collection and recording of relevant information across a breadth of employment matters including attendance, recruitment processes, equality and diversity, performance management etc. Undertake research and analysis and support the Director of Finance in the preparation of their reports on employment matters.

Pay and benefits – Carry out periodic benchmarks and reviews of employee pay and benefits, focussing on the sector we operate in.

Projects and general support – Undertake HR projects as required and provide HR support to employees and line managers in the event of any queries as they arise. Partnership Experience Manager (Maternity Cover)

About the role
You will play a key role in driving the continuous improvement and growth of our national partnership through deepening the quality and impact of our local collaboration hubs. You will also oversee the day-to-day running of hubs of our schools and trusts, which includes holding responsibility for the operations of the Partnerships Team and working closely with the Partnership Lead to ensure that all hubs, schools and trusts have an excellent experience with Challenge Partners.
