Job description

Join a growing charity making a real difference to student living in Leicester by bringing your property development expertise to raise standards and enhance the student housing experience.

Applications close at 9 a.m. Monday 8th September.

Location: Hybrid: Virtual and Leicester

Who we are

Sulets is a charity dedicated to raising standards in student accommodation for the students of Leicester. Providing affordable, high-quality housing options tailored to support Leicester’s student community, Sulets has gone from strength to strength since its establishment and is now excited to embark on its next phase of growth and development.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing charity with a clear and important mandate at a time when universities and students in Leicester face significant pressures. Your contribution will directly influence the expansion and enhancement of the student accommodation portfolio, making a real difference to student living in the city.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking one or two trustees with property development expertise to join our Board and help shape Sulets’ strategic direction. Ideal candidates will have involvement in property development within the Leicestershire area, experience in managing and selling multi-occupancy dwellings, and knowledge of creative finance models for large-scale developments (£1-5m). A strong understanding of the Leicestershire property market from both sales and lettings perspectives is highly desirable.
