As Internal Audit & Counter Fraud Manager, you’ll work directly with the Head of Internal Audit & Counter Fraud, and be responsible for managing a robust programme of internal audits, producing actionable insights, and ensuring a culture of strong internal control. You will also lead on counter-fraud strategy, oversee investigations, and provide trusted advice to stakeholders across all levels, including the Board.
The successful candidate will bring significant experience in internal audit, risk or assurance in large, complex environments — ideally with exposure to both financial and operational audits. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently while keeping the wider organisation’s goals in view.

As Finance and Administration Assistant, you will be a key member of the Finance function within a growing charity along with providing vital administrative support to the CEO in order to ensure The Saviour Trust can achieve it's mission.
Who we are:
The Saviour Trust was established in Pontefract in 2006 and is born out of a passionate belief that every person should have warmth, shelter and food.At The Saviour Trust we believe that before support can begin, an individual's basic needs must be met - warmth, food and a safe space to sleep, which is why we currenly provide over 350 units of supported accomodation across West Yorkshire. Once a person has their own space, a warm bed and food, we will begin to support them in other areas. We recognise that everyone has a past but to have a future they need a chance to recover and be supported to make a change in a non-judgmental environment.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (full-time), Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum
Holidays: 25 days per year plus Bank Holidays
Key Tasks:
- Accurately manage petty cash and balance it to ensure clear record keeping
- Accurately input financial information onto Sage in order to enable clear financial reporting
- Assist in the accurate and timely production of monthly financial accounts
- Assist in the production of a monthly finance report for presentation at monthly board meetings
- Effectively reconcile accounts and bank statements resolving any issues effectively and efficiently
- Assist in the production of accurate annual budgets to be presented and approved by board of Trustees.
- Undertake credit control activities, chasing payments due in order to maintain steady cashflow and income streams to the Organisation
- Make and authorise bank payments as requested by CEO and management team
- Assist in production of monthly wages, ensuring accurate input of data on SAGE and set up staff payments for CEO authorisation
- Assist CEO with diary management, scheduling meetings as required
- Attend meetings as and when required by the CEO including but not limited to Trustee meetings, taking accurate minutes and distributing amongst attendees as appropriate
- Perform general administrative tasks as and when required
- Conduct accurate and detailed internal audits as requested by the CEO
- Work in conjunction with CEO to produce accurate and informative Organisational Reports
- Liaise with external auditors including health and safety and HR and provide accurate information as required
- Discreetly handle confidential and sensitive information
- You will be required to work across the Organisation’s two sites based in Pontefract and Leeds.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties required by the Organisation.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in a finance role
- Experience of using accountancy software such as SAGE is desirable
- Excellent IT skills – with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and Outlook
- Strong numeracy skills
- Detail orientated
- Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks
- Strong desire to satisfy stakeholder needs and achieve results

The Role
As our Deputy Warehouse Operations Manager (Donations) you will be responsible for stock control and stock movement between our Donation Centre and Warehouse and organising deliveries for van drivers to take stock to our shops. This should all be done in accordance with all health and safety regulations. The sorting of donations quickly and efficiently is a fundamental part of this role, and it is expected that a significant proportion of working time will be spent doing this.
Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Manager (Donations) you will support the management of the volunteer team; the organisation of the weekly logistics, communication to the retail teams regarding their deliveries, and ensuring that any requests for specific stock or returns are well managed.
Specifically, you will:
- Lead the team of employees and volunteers to quickly and efficiently sort donated stock.
- Be responsible for ensuring that donated stock is stored appropriately and safely.
- Identify if any specific donated stock suits the profile/demographics of specific shops in the retail network and ensure that those items are ringfenced and delivered in a timely manner to maximise income for the charity.
- Support the Warehouse Operations Manager (Donations) in managing the daily running of the Donation Centre and warehouse, maintaining policies and procedures.
- Be responsible for planning and administering the weekly logistics, to ensure stock is collected and delivered to the network of shops, and to plan for collections from donors’ homes.
- Support the management of the volunteer rota on a weekly basis to ensure that both the Donation Centre and warehouse are fully operational during opening hours, and minimise lone working.
- Support the management of Donation Centre and warehouse volunteers: This will include recruiting, inducting, managing, motivating, and training to ensure a positive working environment.
- Play an active role as the Duty Manager for the building that you are in, in line with the expectations and requirements of the Business Continuity Plan, and run the site in line with brand standards, and the applicable charity policies and procedures.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- To be trained as a First Aider and Fire Marshal.
- To be ideally educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
- To have experience of managing people and volunteers including recruitment and development.
- To have previous experience in a warehouse or distribution role, ideally within a retail or charity environment.
- To have commercial awareness to help build and drive sales coupled with the determination and motivation to help build and drive our retail distribution network.
- To have knowledge and experience of effective stock rotation and management.
- To have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- To be highly organised with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise own workload to meet deadlines.
- To be able to react to quickly changing dynamics and flexibility.
- To have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop and nurture talent.
- To be able to work on-site in our Yorkshire Cancer Research Centre, Hornbeam Park, Harrogate and Manse Lane, Knaresborough.
- A willingness and ability to travel across the Yorkshire region as required.

You will provide support to the Senior Partnership Executive and the wider team helping to implement the corporate fundraising strategy via in person and online engagement methods, leading on activity within Staffordshire.
Your focus will be to ensure income growth from corporate sources and activity comprising of new business development, account management and affinity partnerships. The role of Helpline Advisor
For several years, Guts UK have provided information, support and guidance to our community over the phone and by email. This year, we’re formalising that service into a professional Helpline and are looking for someone to join our small, talented support team.
During the initial 6-month trial period, the Helpline phone lines will be open Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm, but this may expand or change later in the year. Queries could be received via phone, email or web-query form.
As a member of the Helpline team, you will offer on demand information, support, guidance and signposting primarily to enquirers living with, or caring for those with, digestive conditions and symptoms. The support offered will include receiving calls, emails and web form queries from people who are looking for more information about their digestive condition, need to know where they can turn to for support, or are waiting on a diagnosis and need help navigating how to get there. You will provide appropriate information, guidance and signposting to our own information and other external support organisations. As a charity, Guts UK covers all digestive symptoms and conditions, across the whole of the UK, and so no two days will be the same and queries will be diverse and interesting.
The role holder will man the Helpline (alongside others from the team) from 10am to 2pm (with a 30-minute lunch break) and during that time will receive, respond to and appropriately log phone calls, web-queries and emails.
