Responsibilities of our Lifeline Manager:

• leadership and line management of the Lifeline Caseworkers, including managing performance and settling objectives via probationary review and annual
  appraisals
• responsible for recruiting and managing the project volunteers as well as promoting and developing the service
• oversee the referrals coming into the service and arrange the safe transportation and collection of cats
• build and develop partnerships with local domestic abuse services and relevant organisations
• be responsible for the promotion, development and monitoring of the service across Scotland

About the Lifeline team:

• Lifeline is a pet fostering service for anyone fleeing domestic abuse
• the majority of our referrals come from women fleeing domestic abuse via women-only services.
• the service places cats into volunteer foster homes on a temporary basis until their owners can be reunited with them.
• the team consists of Lifeline Caseworkers and a Volunteer Team Leader as well as the wider Lifeline team

What we’re looking for in our Lifeline Manager:

• experience of supporting people experiencing domestic abuse working with or on behalf of
  adults/families in a support role
• experience of managing and leading volunteer and employee teams
• ability to deal with sensitive situations and cope under pressure in an appropriate manner
• strong organisational skills and able to prioritise and manage workload
• understanding of cat care and cat welfare issues
• confident with Microsoft Office programmes

The responsibilities of the Assistant Finance Business Partner will include:

• Producing management accounts for relevant budget holders and contributing to GPA’s client budget process
• Provide advice on financial treatment of project costs to ensure that all items are correctly assessed for capitalisation, and that the treatment of abortive costs and feasibility works are appropriately treated as RDEL, while being allocated to the correct projects

The Willow Major Events Team hosts a range of events to engage Willow’s key supporters. These range in large-scale events such as the Willow Ball and London Football Awards, to smaller more intimate events such as Golf and Shoot Days.

Job purpose

• This role will support the delivery of Willow’s programme of Major Events, as well as supporting third party events, ensuring that these promote and present Willow in a professional and compelling manner, maximising opportunities for donor cultivation, fundraising and maximising income generation.
• To work with the Events Manager on delivering events to an exceptional standard.

Key responsibilities

Core Events

• To support the events strategy through delivery of high-quality events, designed to attract current and new supporters.
• To support the Events Fundraising Manager in ensuring that each event plan is actioned in a timely and efficient manner, as well as working with external suppliers, ensuring all suppliers work to agreed terms and conditions

As Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supporting Nottingham Contemporary's ambitious development strategy to increase income, in collaboration with the Senior Development Manager who holds the overall responsibility for targets and strategy. Ensuring excellent stewardship of all supporters and a strong pipeline of donors and funders will be essential.

You will work with the Senior Development Manager to lead on and maximise income from trusts and foundations in particular, in support of Nottingham Contemporary’s core programme.

Main Accountabilities

• Hold oversight of the trust and foundation pipelines and work collaboratively with the Senior Development Manager, Director and programmers to develop and align cultivation strategies and asks
• Develop and implement cultivation and solicitation strategies for trusts and foundations
• Research and lead on writing compelling applications with strong cases for support to trusts and foundations to secure grants in support of the organisation’s goals
• Prepare timely project report templates and reports on the outcomes of donor and funder support
• Support the Senior Development Manager with ongoing prospect research
• Lead on the identification and cultivation of appropriate corporate sponsors, devising carefully tailored and convincing proposals to secure additional funding
• Support with the delivery of a creative programme of cultivation and stewardship events for donors, funders and prospects
• Represent Nottingham Contemporary at internal and external private views, previews, meetings and events

The Person

We're looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills, alongside the ability to write compelling cases for support. The ideal candidate will be innovative, pro-active and able to adapt easily as a creative problem-solver. A team player, you'll relish working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.

You’ll have a track record in fundraising or relationship management in the not for profit, cultural or other relevant sectors, in particular with trusts and foundations. You’ll have the ability to manage a busy workload to meet agreed deadlines, and your excellent organisational and project management skills will come in handy when organising a range of cultivation and stewardship events for donors, funders and prospects.

Role Purpose

This is an exceptional opportunity to join the Royal Hospital Chelsea as Assistant Director of Audience Engagement on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.  A core focus of the role is to develop the Royal Hospital Chelsea into a national heritage destination while ensuring our community of veterans remains at the heart of everything we do.

During this fixed term contract, you will be responsible for delivering our public engagement strategy, and drive visits to, and engagement with, the Royal Hospital Chelsea’s heritage, supporting sustained and manageable footfall and increased income through public programmes, secondary spend and commercial visitor opportunities.  

You will oversee the successful delivery and operation of the new Visitor Centre within the recently restored Soane Stable Yard, ensuring the visitor experience both onsite and digital is inspiring, inclusive, and impactful. You will also lead our contribution to the Chelsea Heritage Quarter, including co-delivering the annual Chelsea History Festival, working alongside key partners: the National Army Museum and Chelsea Physic Garden.

This role carries senior leadership responsibility, including line management of a talented team covering public programmes, community engagement, visitor experience, and retail. You are also responsible for managing RHC’s relationship with a café concession. •  Generate the requisite income (c£1.4m pa) to ensure the Youth Zone operates as per the OnSide DNA.

•  Lead an effective stewardship programme to ensure the Founder Patrons, and any donors, thereafter, are retained and uplift their giving.

•  Build and lead a team of fundraisers who each have personal income targets and a clear but small set of Key Performance Indicators that guide their work.

•  Be personally responsible for a small but high level portfolio of prospects to drive a personal annual income target, c15-20 annually.

Acorns Children’s Hospice provides specialist care and support for babies, children, and young people who are life-limited or life-threatened. When time is short, every moment is precious. Acorns helps children and families fill the time they have together with love, fun, and laughter to create lasting memories.

Palliative care for children aged 0-18 is delivered at Acorns’ hospices in Birmingham, Worcester, and Walsall, as well as in family homes or elsewhere in the community. Their holistic, tailored approach meets each child’s clinical, emotional, cultural, religious, and spiritual needs. Supporting over 750 children and nearly 1,000 families annually, Acorns is a vital lifeline for families across the West Midlands and Gloucestershire during unimaginably difficult times.

This is a brilliant opportunity to take on a high-performing team at a time when Acorns is really moving forward. Supported by strong internal resources, the Head of Public Fundraising will drive growth across Individual Giving, Legacy, In-Memoriam, Digital and Prize-led Giving in the context of a highly collaborative, whole-organisation approach to fundraising.

The immediate focus will be on making the most of existing programmes, strengthening audience insight, and getting the team ready to play a major part in the organisation-wide appeal launching in 2025.

Growing Individual Giving income from £1.6 million to £2 million over the next two years will be a central priority, alongside expanding digital and prize-led fundraising and sharpening supporter journeys across the board.

As Head of Public Fundraising, you will: 

• Develop and implement a data-driven strategy for all areas of public fundraising to meet growth targets.

• Lead the Individual Giving portfolio, ensuring growth across direct mail, face-to-face acquisition, mid-value development, and telemarketing.

• Oversee the successful delivery of cash appeals, ensuring they meet both income and ROI targets.

• Drive the expansion of digital fundraising and prize-led giving, including managing the growing digital fundraising portfolio and prize-led initiatives.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing & Communications, to ensure campaigns are well integrated and aligned with the overall fundraising strategy.

• Manage and develop a high-performing team, providing leadership, coaching, and clear performance metrics.

• Collaborate with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to drive the strategic direction of public fundraising.

About you

The role needs someone who’s as comfortable setting long-term plans as they are getting hands-on when needed, whether that’s developing appeals, working with agencies or supporting new product ideas. Collaboration across fundraising, care and supporter engagement teams will be essential to making this happen and building an even stronger supporter-first culture at Acorns.

Scope of role

The Debt Advisor is responsible for providing comprehensive, video debt advice to prisoners across thirteen (13) HMPPS sites, tailored to their specific circumstances. This role involves conducting detailed interviews to understand clients’ financial problems, researching options, and helping clients make informed decisions. The advisor ensures income maximisation and provides ongoing casework support, acting on behalf of clients where necessary. Maintaining up-to-date case records and staying informed about relevant legislation, policies, and procedures are crucial aspects of the role. The Debt Advisor is also expected to complete continuous professional development and contribute to the team’s overall objectives by meeting targets, prioritising workloads, and demonstrating financial efficiency. The may also be required to attend meetings on-site at various prisons and host workshops for prisoners.

Key Responsibilities

Accurate, effective and individually tailored advice

• Interviewing those that access our service using sensitive listening and questioning skills to allow them to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities.
• Researching and exploring options and implications so that those accessing our service can make informed decisions.
• Providing in-depth quality advice and on-gong casework, including acting for the client where necessary using appropriate communication skills and channels.

Detailed case records

• Maintaining detailed case records, ensuring that all work meets all auditing and quality standards and the requirements of the funder.
• Ensuring all case records and written up in a timely manner.

Up-to-date training

• Completing a minimum of 16 hours/ equivalent of technical debt advice DPD accredited training or qualifying activity.
• Maintaining an up-to-date record of all training sessions.

Teamwork

• Work to an agreed work-plan, meeting targets and milestones, whilst prioritising and managing your own workload.
• Be an active member of the team, identifying opportunities for your own development, and demonstrating financial efficiency and value for money throughout your work.
• Compliance with Toynbee Hall policies and procedures, including health and safety.

Prostate Cancer Research aims to develop and deliver breakthrough medicines and treatments to achieve a world where people are free from the impact of prostate cancer. The organisation believes that it is only through research that we can build a future in which no family will have to fear losing a loved one to prostate cancer. In the last four years, we have expanded the amount of research it funds by four times. 

Prostate Cancer Research is seeking a an experienced, dynamic and driven Trusts & Statutory Executive. The role will take a lead on identifying and securing collaboration and funding opportunities with both existing and prospective partners, developing and managing a pipeline of funding partners that align with PCR’s mission and core programmes of work. 

Since 2018, PCR has significantly increased income from Trusts & Foundations and Statutory sources, as well as working in collaboration with other medical research charities and non-profits. This is a newly created and integral role within the Partnership Fundraising team to build on this work and will be key to identifying and nurturing relationships with prospective partners and funders, as well as developing and implementing comprehensive partnership strategies to engage existing and prospective partners. 

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of developing and nurturing relationships with funding partners (with experience of identifying and securing at least five-figure income), understanding complex issues and working with others to identify solutions, and producing compelling funding proposals in support of this work. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and manage strong, impactful relationships. 

Finally, candidates must have a passion for securing funding that will help improve the lives of people with prostate cancer and a commitment to advancing healthcare through strategic partnerships and collaboration. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct proactive prospecting and qualification of Trusts & Statutory funding opportunities to build a robust pipeline of potential funders. 

• Identify and nurture relationships with prospective Trust & Foundations and Statutory funding partners aligned with the mission and values of PCR. 

• Develop and implement comprehensive partnership strategies to engage existing and prospective funding partners. 

• Stay informed about PCR’s current and future work and translate larger, complex programmes of work into relevant, compelling funding asks.

• Work closely with PCR's delivery departments and other income streams to identify, develop and maximise income generation opportunities. 

• Lead the preparation and submission of funding applications and reports for both existing and prospective funders. 

• Develop compelling, high-quality proposals for new and existing programmes, ensuring they are tailored to each funder’s priorities and aligned with organisational objectives.

• Lead negotiations and secure funding support from funding partners for activities aligned with PCR’s programmes of work. 

• Effectively manage project monitoring and reporting for PCR’s existing funded activities with identified funding partners, including regular communication, reporting, and public recognition of contributions (as appropriate), working closely with PCR’s delivery and communications teams.

• Stay informed of industry trends, giving initiatives, and relevant developments to inform partnership strategies and opportunities. 

• Represent PCR at external events, conferences, and meetings to promote partnership opportunities and expand our network, as required. 

• Database management to record pipeline and enable strategic planning against established KPIs and income targets. 

• Support Director of Partnerships to monitor and report income performance to PCR’s Board of Trustees.
