STEM Learning is seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing and Communications Lead to drive awareness and foster engagement within our comprehensive range of support services for schools, colleges, employers, and partners. 

This role is pivotal to the successful delivery of a key funded contract, requiring a sharp focus on communication impact, stakeholder engagement, and demonstrating value for money through effective marketing strategy and execution. 

You will work across teams to create high-impact campaigns, manage digital platforms, and shape our messaging to diverse audiences through compelling, data-driven communications. 
 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the planning and execution of digital and offline marketing, communications, and PR activities. 
• Create and deliver integrated campaigns that raise the profile of STEM Learning and its services. 
• Manage communications channels, digital platforms and content delivery. 
• Evaluate the performance of campaigns and report on return on investment and budget effectiveness. 
• Support and guide colleagues and partners in best practice marketing and communications. 
• Line-manage and mentor Marketing and Communications Officers. 
• Work collaboratively with other Leads and the Senior Lead on strategy and planning.

The Campaign Director will form the campaign strategy to see an increase in the rate of Statutory Sick Pay, fundraise to implement the strategy, hire campaign team members, support the team to implement the strategy, hold the key stakeholder relationships, drive the campaign, and deliver parts of the campaign where needed.

As a member of the Executive Team, the Campaign Director will be part of the team responsible for the strategy, structure, team, culture and finances of the organisation.

Role overview
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Programme Coordinator to help keep our busy calendar of classes, events, and community activities running like clockwork. Key Responsibilities
Programme & Administrative Coordination

• Act as the first point of contact for all incoming enquiries via phone, email, and in-person show-arounds.

•  Coordinate all aspects of school, after-school, and holiday cooking programmes — including outreach, scheduling, and briefing the delivery team.

• Create and update promotional materials using tools such as Canva.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

• Keep our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning framework up to date, recording key data monthly and termly to record and evaluate our impact.
• Maintain accurate participation records across all of our programmes
• Collect and analyse participant feedback to improve delivery and help evaluate our programmes.
• Support the preparation of reports, case studies, and impact stories.

Finance & Administration

• Support financial processes for bookings and programmes, including invoicing, payment tracking, and deposits.
• Assist with budget monitoring for projects and events.
•  Ensure accurate financial records are maintained in line with organisational procedures.

This is a key role responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery and development of our Antifreeze programme.  Alongside the daily management of staff and volunteers, this role is responsible for ensuring that the services provided are safe, best practice and compliant with all relevant policies and procedures.

• Empower all of those leading worship through support and development.

This will include working strategically; embedding deep learning and practice; envisaging and developing exceptional training and resourcing for all those involved in worship leading; managing staff, workplans and budgets; and being responsible for the governance aspects which sit within this role.

Thus, we are looking for someone who is a gifted ‘crafter of worship’ and preacher, with deep sensitivity for Methodist worship in its varied traditions, passion for excellence in Methodist worship and creative strategic thinker. You will care deeply about the communities of people who lead Methodist worship, working alongside them to enable all to lead worship which contributes to flourishing Methodist churches. 

It is essential, therefore, that you are a presbyter, deacon or local preacher in The Methodist Church, have a deep understanding of Methodist – and wider – theology with an understanding of how to translate these for contemporary society. The Ministries and Learning Team in which this role sits, is friendly, supportive, vibrant and passionate. Within this team, you will be line-managed by The Director of Ministry Development. • Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, experts, regulators, allied organisations, and members of the public to strengthen campaign outcomes.
