Oxfordshire Mind are looking for a Fundraising and Events Assistant to join our busy team.

Title: Fundraising and Events Assistant
: 37 hours per week
Salary: £21,166 (SCP 11-18) per annum
Pension: Auto-enrolment scheme in place
Contract: Permanent
Probationary Period: 6 Months
Accountable to: Development Team

About the role: 
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with strong organisational and communication skills to provide excellent support for our Fundraising and Events. We need someone who is passionate, driven and able to prioritise workload effectively.

Fundraising experience is not essential for the role but we’re looking for someone with the drive and passion to learn. The successful candidate will be proactive and keen to get involved in all of our fundraising and income generation activities.

The Fundraising and Events Assistant will provide fundraising and events support to the Development Team and other general administrative duties as required.

The responsibilities will vary from week to week depending on schedules and priorities, but regular tasks will include:

  • Working with the fundraising team and external suppliers to ensure events are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard
  • Coordinating logistics for events and meetings
  • Attending events and assisting with activities on the day, including set up and break down, preparation of event materials, and assisting volunteers/fundraisers. Some evening and weekend work expected
  • Communicating with event participants via email, phone and mail
  • Responding to fundraiser and events queries and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Fundraising data management: inputting data into our CRM system
  • Supporting on fundraising projects, campaigns and events
  • Promoting events through various channels and working with the Communications team where appropriate
  • Delivering social media and digital communications
