Role Title: OISC Level 2 Immigration Advisor

Shropshire Supports Refugees (SSR) is a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting refugees and marginalised migrants who have come to live in Shropshire.

Hours: 37.5 hrs per week 

Reports to: CEO

Salary: £31,200 - 2yr fixed term contract

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial consultations with clients to assess their immigration needs and eligibility

• Provide comprehensive advice on various immigration matters, including visa applications, settlement, asylum claims, and appeals within OISC level 2 guidelines

• Maintain accurate records and case files, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients

• Advocate on behalf of clients by telephone, letter and email with appropriate agencies

• Keep up-to-date with changes in immigration laws and policies and provide training to colleagues as necessary

• Attend training events relating to asylum and immigration

• To supervise OISC level 1 colleagues

• Undertake other tasks within the organisation as required

Person Specification:

Essential:

• OISC Level 2 accreditation is essential

• Previous experience working as an Immigration Advisor or similar role within the immigration sector

• In-depth knowledge of UK immigration laws, policies, and procedures

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds

• Strong time management with the ability to work to strict deadlines

• Knowledge and understanding of the voluntary sector

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively

• Proficiency in the Microsoft suite

Desirable:

• Fluency in additional languages 

• Experience of Salesforce CRM 

• Full driving licence

The Individual Giving & Lottery Manager will play a crucial role in maximising funding for Weston Hospicecare through individual giving, inspiring new donors and maximising opportunities with existing ones. Community Fundraising Executive

 Movember is the leading charity changing the face of men’s health globally, tackling mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer, testicular cancer.

In our mission to stop men dying too young, we’re seeking a passionate Community Fundraising Executive to join our London based team.

About the role

You will support fundraisers across the schools audience, providing them with a remarkable experience and keep them coming back to the charity.

The role will focus on both retention of high-value supporters and acquisition of new supporters, with a particular focus on the Movember campaign in November.

You will have the opportunity to work flexibly, blending your time between home and our Clerkenwell office. This role is being offered on a full time fixed term basis (12 months).

You’ll have the opportunity to

· Collaborate with Senior Community Fundraising Manager on school project plan, meeting targets.

· Provide regular data and reports on progress to Senior Manager.

· Identify opportunities for new school supporters, aligning with targets.

· Develop segmented reactivation plan for past supporters.

· Record supporter data and interactions on Salesforce.

· Manage day-to-day school supporter relations, ensuring consistency.

· Act as main point of contact for schools, with timely responses.

Room to Heal is a human rights charity and therapeutic community based in London. About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team and lead our fundraising efforts. This is a key role in ensuring we have the resources to continue providing vital support to survivors of torture and human rights violations. The Role

The Fundraising Officer will coordinate all fundraising activities in line with the Charity’s overall strategy and sustainability plans.  Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, the Fundraising Officer will identify sources of income and build good working relationships with funders to achieve agreed funding targets.

The role is based in the North-West of England working from home and ideally, the Fundraising Officer will be in one of the following locations:

About You

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and have a background in fundraising.  They must be able to demonstrate a strong track record of securing funding from national funders, preferably for the youth or sport sector. They will have experience of monitoring the impact of community projects.  In addition, they will be adaptable and comfortable working on both their own initiative and as a team player.

About the Organisation

The Charity has a desire to grow and become more sustainable, the Fundraising Officer will play a key role in achieving this ambition.  The aim of the Charity is to enhance the life skills of disadvantaged youngsters using the sport of rowing.  The charity works closely with Henley Stewards Charitable Trust and British Rowing to help achieve this aim.

All Aboard Youth Rowing run programmes in Warrington, Merseyside, Northwich, Greater Manchester, Runcorn and North Staffordshire.

We are looking for a Marketing Officer who will be responsible for supporting the exploration of ideas for various marketing and fundraising activities, contributing to the development of the annual fundraising & marketing plans and budgets, supporting new and existing fundraising and marketing appeals and projects, maintaining integrity of information held on the supporter database, monitoring campaign and project performance including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), liaising with internal and external suppliers and stakeholders and where assigned, oversee a caseload of donors or volunteers (e.g. fundraisers, church reps or speakers), ensuring that they are trained, resourced and supported appropriately.

Do you have the following experience?

• Multi-channel marketing experience across a variety of media channels including direct mail, press and digital channels
• Understanding of various marketing techniques
• Proven experience of database or CRM management
• Work Package management experience
• Project management skills, with the ability to undertake multiple projects

The successful candidate will have:

• The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines with minimal line management input
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to write reports and creative briefs
• A good understanding of budgeting and financial data
• The ability to work under pressure and manage a varied workload
• Excellent IT skills

Position: Philanthropy Lead - Stewardship

Location: Cambridge/hybrid (2 days per week in the office)

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (part time hours are negotiable)

Contract: Permanent

About the Role

The Philanthropy Lead joins an energised and committed major gifts team covering trusts and major donors. You will have significant ambitions for developing and sustaining relationships with new and existing donors giving up to seven figure gifts.

This role is key to leading excellent stewardship of donors and the management of the recently re-launched 1766 Circle of benefactors.  You will ensure that the organisation communicates the impact of it’s work by creating a compelling and thoughtful stewardship plan. You will then deliver excellent communications and touch points with some of the closest supporters to ensure they feel connected to and inspired by the charity.

Ultimately the role will lead ACT’s philanthropy stewardship programme through establishing slick systems, sympathetic and thoughtful donor engagement and a pragmatic approach to project management.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have high standards of personal communication (written and oral); an excellent attention to detail; experienced in managing timelines of projects; and you will need to be a kind and professional team colleague. You will have experience of fundraising writing for a philanthropic audience. Most of all, you will need to understand how to make donors feel valued and ensure that everything you do is considered from their perspective.
