About the Role
At Living Reasons, we want to change the face of fundraising and entertainment events. We’re not interested in repeating outdated models — instead, we want to create immersive, innovative, and accessible experiences that engage supporters in brand new ways.
The Events & Entertainments Lead will play a key role in making this vision a reality. You’ll oversee events and entertainment coordinators working on specific projects, ensuring events are well-planned, properly funded, safe, and accessible to all. At the same time, you’ll work with the wider team to design bold, creative, and inclusive experiences — from accessibility-led escape rooms to sensory events, to interactive challenges inspired by shows like The Traitors.
This role is about big thinking, imagination, and leadership. It’s perfect for someone who wants to push boundaries and reimagine what fundraising and entertainment events can look like.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and support Events & Entertainments Coordinators delivering specific projects.

Ensure all events are effectively planned and funded, including managing:

Accessibility and inclusivity considerations

Work with the wider Events, Entertainments & Challenges team to design new, engaging opportunities for supporters.

Develop immersive, creative experiences that break the mould of traditional fundraising events.

Build and lead a team of creative volunteers, supporting them to contribute ideas and take ownership of projects.

Help ensure events raise vital funds to support Living Reasons’ work, while also being enjoyable, inclusive, and meaningful for all participants.

Parkinson's UK local groups offer friendship, support, and numerous activities for people affected by Parkinson's.
In Winchester, the group is a core part of the local Parkinson's community. As a committee volunteer you'll help connect people to the group, whilst making sure existing members stay up to date with the activities provided. You could have a hand in arranging activities too, whether it's seated yoga, or a chance for friends and family of those living with Parkinson's to meet - and all activities are open to you too.
You'll build existing connections, and meet new people in your local area, all whilst making a difference to those living with Parkinson's in Winchester.
The group meets each month, but many of our volunteers undertake parts of their roles from home - at a time that suits them. This is a flexible role, and you could be doing any or all of the tasks on the role description - speak to your staff contact for more detail.

- Keep up to date about the news and developments of Parkinson's UK more widely, sharing these with the group
- contributing ideas for fundraising, activities and speakers

About the Role
At Living Reasons, we’re reimagining fundraising and entertainment events to be more immersive, inclusive, and inspiring than ever before. Key Responsibilities

Work with the Events & Entertainments Lead to plan and deliver specific events and challenges.

Who We're Looking For:
We are looking to recruit a Finance Trustee who is passionate about the work of School-Home Support and brings energy, commitment and leadership combined with a willingness to advocate for the work we do and the cause we serve.
As a Finance Trustee, You Will:

Contribute to setting goals, targets, and overall policy for the organisation

Share your expertise and networks to support the development and growth of the charity.

Help ensure compliance with our legal obligations and the organisation’s core purpose.

Provide oversight of the budget to guarantee School-Home Support’s financial sustainability.

Ensure measures are in place for safeguarding for the children and families we support and the staff team

Act as a champion and ambassador for School-Home Support, enhancing our reputation, representing us at key events, and supporting fundraising efforts.

Expectations:

Commitment: A commitment of three years to this voluntary role

Meetings: Attend four half-day board meetings and one AGM each year, which are typically held in Stratford, London, or remotely.

Sub-Committees: Participate in one of our sub-committees to help guide specific areas of our work.

External Events: Attend 2-3 fundraising events each year (usually evenings) and make at least one school visit annually.

Whether it’s rallying local businesses, organising events, or getting creative with unique fundraising ideas, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping SSAFA’s support going strong.
Administrators
Are you detail-oriented and love keeping things organised? Assist with branch and event administration, manage schedules and branch calendars, and ensure everything runs smoothly currently being undertaken.
The skills you need
- Friendly and approachable people.
- Confident people who feel happy to engage with the public, potential clients, volunteers and
- SSAFA colleagues face-to-face.
- Reliable attitude, staying connected with your Branch and/or Community Engagement Manager about your availability.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and keep information safely.
- Access to public transport or a car to get to events if necessary.

The Town and Country Planning Association (TCPA) is looking to appoint up to two new Trustees and if you answered a resounding ‘yes’ to the questions above then these could be the roles for you!
The built and natural environment have profound impacts on people’s health, wellbeing and life chances and we also face climate, nature, housing and health crises. The work of the TCPA is, therefore, more important than ever.
To support our important work we are looking to broaden the skills and range of perspectives on our Board of Trustees. You do not need to be an expert in town planning or have a background working in the built environment sector. We are particularly interested in candidates who believe in the importance of the work we do and have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Charity fundraising and new business development
- Charity governance
- Operational elements of running a small charity
- Campaigning and communications

This role will suit you if you are:
- Someone who enjoys talking to members of the public and can engage in a meaningful conversation.
- Comfortable lone working at times, as well as working in a team.
- Up for a challenge and like to reach a target.
- A person that enjoys giving excellent service.
- Happy to volunteer on your own. However, someone will always be available to support.
- Confident building new relationships with people.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Helping grow awareness and support for local & national fundraising
- Understanding different needs and interests of people and inspiring them to give in a way that is right for them.
- Supporting in our bookshop by manning the space, rotating stock, tidying and pricing books while always providing a friendly and welcoming approach.
- Attending regular meetings and suggesting fundraising ideas/feedback so we can fulfil our fundraising plan.
- Using your particular skills in creative ways to raise funds
- Answering questions people may have about the National Trust and being able to explain where donations go and impact they make.
- Ensuring we follow fundraising guidance, regulations and best practice
- Supporting big fundraising campaigns or projects.
- Being part of a team that may need to adapt and change in response to local needs, National Trust priorities or changes to government guidelines
By getting involved you could:
- Be part of a passionate team, working closely with staff across departments raising vital funds to protect Ickworth.
- Be making a direct impact in our fundraising spaces, such as bookshop or through programming.
- Help bring the work of the National Trust to life and inspire others to get involved
