Overview of the Regional Coordinator role and the team
The Regional Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing the mission of Barnabas Aid by
building and nurturing relationships with churches, Christian organisations, and
individuals. The role aims to raise awareness, prayer, and financial support for the
persecuted church, fostering a network of engaged supporters and expanding the
organisation’s outreach.
Main duties and responsibilities
Strategy Implementation and Reporting:o Develop and execute regional outreach strategies aligned with organisational

Prayer Mobilisation:

The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS), is the only patient-led organisation in the UK specialising in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Due to its targeted focus on RA and JIA, NRAS provides truly expert and wide-ranging services to support, educate and campaign for people living with these complex autoimmune conditions, their families and the health professionals who treat them.
1. Main Purpose of Job
To drive referrals to and use of, NRAS services from NHS relationships across the UK.
Identify, build and maintain relationships with Rheumatology and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure relevant healthcare professionals are aware of the support that NRAS provides to people with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Adult Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis.

About you
We are looking for someone who has at least 3 years' experience in an income generation role, including venue hire and event management, ideally in a charity setting.

Thanks to generous funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, The Pilgrim Trust, The Headley Trust, Granada Foundation & Arts Council England, The Silk Heritage Trust is embarking on an ambitious 18-month development programme Strengthening The Future of Macclesfield's Heritage.The Trust is working to establish The Silk Museum and Paradise Mill as a national centre for silk heritage and heritage textile crafts. Strengthening The Future of Macclesfield’s Heritage moves the Trust towards this vision, strengthening fundraising capacity plus staff and board skills, to provide a solid foundation for the future.
The Trust has achieved a great deal over the last 5 years, securing funding from public sources, trusts, and foundations. This newly created role will build on this success and attract substantial support from individuals and corporate sources. It involves working with internal and external stakeholders to raise funds for core funding, projects, and capital campaigns. It is envisaged that the post-holder will work with Trustees and staff to establish a Development sub-group to inform and drive this work. Strategic planning and communications are key to this. This role will drive forward new plans for individual giving, philanthropy and fundraising to significantly rebuild the Trust’s reserves.

Development

This role is a new position within the structure, created to focus on our growing third-party events portfolio, an area which is performing well across the sector and deserves more attention. We are working in partnership with a Richard House Children’s Hospice to secure their new Events Manager. Richard House helps children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. From the moment a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting, life-threatening or complex health condition everything changes. These changes affect the whole family, which is why Richard House feel it is vital not only to provide care to the child but to support the whole family. As a member of the fundraising team, you will directly support the charity’s work, as the majority of their services are funded thanks to the generosity of their supporters.
The Events Manager will develop an events programme that delivers excellent supporter-care to all fundraisers and supporters taking part in an event or organising their own activities, maximising income from these fundraising streams. Harnessing current supporters and leading the growth of our existing network of community and event supporters is key to this role, with a focus on developing pro-active individuals, corporates and groups wanting to engage with and support events. The role will be hands on, focused on operational delivery, supporting crucial short- and medium-term funding impact, as well as longer-term and sustainable corporate income for Richard House.

The Sporting Events Officer role will play a significant part in contributing to a high-performing fundraising team. You will work closely with the Sporting Events Manager and Head of Sporting Events and Volunteering to drive the continued growth of the charity’s sporting event fundraising income. Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Account management and strategic support
· Support the Sporting Events Manager (SEM) / Head of Sporting Events and Volunteering (HSEV) in delivering the Sporting Events strategy for ARUK to increase income within this stream
· Support the SEM to develop and manage the portfolio of third-party sporting events and internally developed products for ARUK

Surviving a stroke is just the start of a long and difficult recovery journey. Stroke Association is there to support stroke survivors and help their families find the strength they need to find their way back to living a fulfilling life.
A stroke can happen to anyone, of any age, at any time and one in four strokes happen in people of working age.
“I’m Leighton and when I was 39 years young I had a stroke. There’s a sentence I never, ever thought I would write. But that’s the thing with stroke, it doesn’t care how fit and healthy I was. It doesn’t care that I’m a dad with a 10-year-old son. A son that needs me.”
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team raising vital funds to provide this invaluable lifelong support for all stroke survivors, just like Leighton.
The Role
This is an exciting new role in a newly created team, formed to acquire strategic corporate partnerships and community connections. Main responsibilities will include:
- Developing a robust pipeline of future support focussing on high value relationships.
- Delivering engagement strategies and products to enhance the conversion rate of your pipeline.
- Developing and delivering a relationship stewardship plan for all corporate partners.
- Delivering an individual income target.
- Tracking and monitoring income and pipeline values to support with forecasting and budgeting.
The Person
We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic person with excellent communication and relationship building skills. You should be excited by the prospect of building a new pipeline and portfolio of corporate partners and be confident stewarding relationships in this space.
You must be able to work flexibly to maximise opportunities across Scotland, and have the initiative and ability to work with autonomy. Previous experience in fundraising is desirable; however, we are also keen to speak with people who also have the knowledge and experience in building relationships and are keen to transfer this skillset into the rewarding world of fundraising!
