Job Purpose
As Director of Partnerships, you will:
- Lead on partnerships fundraising, including major donors, trusts & foundations, and corporates with a focus on securing six-figure multi-year agreements to significantly grow funds raised in this area from £1.6 million to £4.5 million by FY30, in line with Operation Smile UK’s multi-year strategy.
- Foster and facilitate collaboration across different departments within OSUK.
- Ensure business as usual is achieved in line with operational plans, while also exploring and implementing innovative initiatives and campaigns to ensure the future success of partnerships' fundraising.
- Represent OSUK at a leadership level, building relationships with industry peers and peers within the Operation Smile global team to ensure best practice across all areas.
Key Responsibilities
Philanthropy Leadership
- Leads strategy, planning and operation of the major gift, trusts & foundations and corporate giving channels.
- Develops annual business plans and budgets in collaboration with the Executive Director (ED) and Executive Team.
- Strategically identifies and qualifies potential new donors to grow the prospect pipeline.
- Prepares development communications: solicitation and acknowledgement letters; case statements and proposals; stewardship reports; briefing notes; gift agreements.
- Identifies, cultivates, and solicits major gift commitments from high-net-worth individuals
- Monitors activity of the team, ensuring that benchmarks are achieved, including submission of solicitations, donor contacts and meetings, confirmations of donations, and other performance indicators as related to the team checking their portfolio.
- Provides the organisation with the interpretation of market trends and emerging issues that could impact the organisation’s partnerships fundraising stream.
- Ensures the effective collection of donor information and tracking of points of contact in accordance with best practices; provides and presents statistical analysis to senior leaders.
- Leads on data mining, prospect research, and ensuring the quality of data as it relates to the donors they work with.
- Develops and manages relationships within their own portfolio, personally conducting cultivation visits, solicitation calls and stewardship activities as required.
- Effectively manages fundraising resources and practices ethical fundraising.
HR Management
- Leads, mentors, and manages a team; regular meetings to provide direction, coaching and delegation to the partnerships team.
Financial Management
- Manages and implements approved business plans, ensuring that the annual revenue objectives and budget are met or exceeded, and oversight of the partnership’s departmental budgets.
- Provides leadership in the delivery of statistical analysis, projections, and detailed reports on partnerships fundraising goals and performance that may be used to contribute to the development of internal budgets.
Partnership Sustainability
- Develops donor relationships by researching, sourcing, cultivating, and stewarding existing and potential partners.
- Works to broaden sources of revenue, including working with corporate partners in various industries.
- Develops and implements a stewardship program aimed at cultivating deeper ties with donors and corporate partners.
- Contributes innovative ideas to the development of new strategic partnerships and alternative revenue streams.
Other
- Other duties as assigned by the ED.
- Meetings with OSI and partner countries.
- Board reports/board meetings as required.

Our Location
We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, you will be required to attend the Hatfield office once a week and monthly directorate meetings. In addition, the charity meets four times annually at its office in Hatfield (or a location in London) for its’ ‘All Staff Together’ days, at which attendance is mandatory.

Pembroke College, Oxford, is seeking to appoint a Donor Relations Officer to play a pivotal role in its fundraising and stewardship programme. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to contribute to the long-term development of one of Oxford’s most forward-looking Colleges.
Founded in 1624, Pembroke is an inclusive and dynamic College based on a central site in Oxford that joins award-winning new developments with historic quadrangles. The College has ambitious fundraising goals to support scholarships, academic posts, buildings, and other key priorities.
The Donor Relations Officer will work closely with the Development Manager and Development Director to devise and implement a comprehensive stewardship strategy for Pembroke’s major donors. The role involves producing bespoke donor reports, drafting proposals and gift agreements, coordinating stewardship events, and ensuring that donors receive appropriate recognition and communications. The post-holder will liaise closely with the Finance, Academic, and Communications teams, as well as Fellows, staff, and students, to ensure accurate and impactful donor reporting.

Role Overview
The Donor Relations Officer role focuses on stewardship and proposal writing. This involves devising a stewardship strategy for major donors, producing reports for donors, and drafting proposals and gift agreements for prospective donors. The post-holder reports to the Development Manager.
Key Responsibilities
The main duties to be carried out by the post-holder include:
Stewardship
- Working with the Development Director and Development Manager, create a stewardship strategy for all major donors, ensuring that everyone receives annual reports on their giving and the appropriate level of recognition.
- Work with the College’s Finance team to obtain annual reports on the status of restricted and endowed funds for inclusion in stewardship reporting.
- Take ownership of the College’s stewardship groups for major donors, namely the Foundation Fellows, Sheppard Circle, and Master’s Circle. Liaise with the Senior Alumni Relations Officer to create and deliver events for members of these groups and devise ways to further our relationship with them individually and collectively.
- Work with the Accounts Office and Academic Office to ensure that restricted funds are used in accordance with their purpose and to track and report on progress to donors in line with relevant gift agreements and pledges.
- Ensure donors receive appropriate recognition in all relevant College publications and other media and work in close collaboration with the Communications team to ensure donors receive relevant College and Campaign communications.
- Work with the Development team, Communications team, and others in College to create an annual report demonstrating the impact of philanthropy at Pembroke for distribution to donors to the College.
- Identify opportunities to publicise the impact of philanthropy at Pembroke through multimedia communications and digital platforms (e.g., videos, newsletters, digital campaigns).
- Once the programme is established there may be opportunities to undertake face-to-face stewardship meetings with donors.
Proposal writing
- Support the Development Director and Development Manager in drafting bespoke proposals for major donor prospects.
- Assist in the production of fundraising documentation to appeal to potential major donors.
- Make effective use of donor records to ensure proposals and reports are data driven.
- Draft gift agreements for major donors.
Internal collaboration
- Work collaboratively with the wider team and colleagues across Pembroke, supporting work outside your functional area where necessary.
- Build strong internal relationships with relevant stakeholders to ensure the stewardship programme is supported at the highest level.
- Work with Fellows, staff, and students to obtain reports and other stories relating to the impact of donor funding.
- To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required by the Development Director, which may include travel and event attendance outside standard working hours.

Who are we?
The Global Foundations & Institutional Donors team is comprised of 12 colleagues working with either Institutional Donors or Foundations based in Copenhagen, Berlin, Brussels, Geneva and Kyiv. DRC funds come from a variety of sources - institutional donors such as the European Commission, UN agencies, and bilateral humanitarian and development funding envelopes from major donor countries, but increasingly also foundations - both Danish and International. About the job
As Senior Partnership Advisor you will be part of the Global Foundation and Institutional Donors section (GFID) working directly with the Head of Global Foundation and Institutional Donors, colleagues based in HQ, DRC Representations in Geneva, Brussels and Berlin, and regionally with the Regional Business Development Coordinators. Your overall responsibility will be to support DRC’s capacity strengthening to maintain and improve donor relationships and fundraising efforts.
The Senior Partnership Advisor oversees the engagement and fundraising efforts focusing primarily on FCDO and the UK-based foundations, potentially there would also be some coverage of non-core donors like Irish Aid, Jersey Aid etc. You are tasked with undertaking analyses, elaborating donor intelligence, to inform and advise senior management and colleagues about partnership development as well as fundraising opportunities.
Your main duties and responsibilities will be:
Strategy
- Support design and advancement of the global donor engagement strategy based on the FCDOs’ donor trends and priorities, (and relevant non-core donors).
- Mapping and scoping of UK-based foundations with the support of the wider GFID team.
- Lead the development of donor-specific engagement action plans for the FCDO and relevant foundations and steer their implementation.
Partnership Engagement
- Lead on a strong and strategic partnership between DRC and FCDO at capital level and UK-based Foundations and engage proactively with FCDO (and relevant non-core donors) to address challenges and opportunities related to DRC’s partnership at global level and inform/advise ROs/COs accordingly. Develop tools and guidance to support engagement with FCDO
- Provide support and expertise to DRC country and regional operations on the partnership.
- Represent DRC in dialogues with core donors on regulatory frameworks and actively participate in relevant events and coordination mechanisms with peer organisations or other networks and platforms.
Donor intelligence and knowledge management
- Monitor and analyse relevant trends and donor intelligence and provide strategic advice on possible impact and ways to adapt across all levels of the organization for FCDO, relevant UK foundations and /or non-core donors).
- Develop qualitative and quantitative analyses to feed into donor trends and global donor analyses, lessons learned, and other dissemination documents.
Partnership Management – externally and internally
- For FCDO funding, develop tools, platforms, and internal workflows for efficient strategic donor compliance (this includes maintaining DRC Insite donor pages, updating and publishing internal guidance tools such as Donorpedias, fact sheets etc.).
- Strengthen capacities of Grants Management Unit staff on FCDO policies and guidelines.
Occasional travel will be expected to DRC HQ, DRC representations or DRC country offices
About you
To excel in this role, you will have natural communication and social skills, including networking and the ability to influence. You are comfortable navigating internal stakeholders horizontally and vertically, and representing DRC externally with donors, peer organisations and in other forums.
You have strong knowledge of FCDO’s structure and funding priorities, including regulatory frameworks and contracting. This role calls for someone who is both a “thinker” and a “doer” - an ability to work on strategic-level analyses while being detailed as well as being results and service-oriented.

- Documented extensive experience with institutional donors and donor engagement, and in particular, FCDO
- Experience in engaging with philanthropic and private sector foundations
- Understanding of the links between compliance and building the image of a go-to organisation for donors

- Experience with networking and representation at all levels
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to identify, address and communicate the core of an issue, even if very complex
- Experience in working in an international, multicultural work environment, experience at country or regional level
- Master’s degree in relevant field of study or equivalent in experience.
- The position is based in London. If the candidate is not already in London, you will need to be open to relocating.

Main duties
- Lead relationships with a portfolio of trusts, foundations, and other grant-making bodies to establish a robust pipeline of sustainable income.
- Provide effective stewardship of existing trust donors and prospects to ensure repeat gifts and to increase support where relevant.
- Create innovative opportunities and develop funding proposals that match funding opportunities to The Passage’s range of services.
- Develop an annual prospect pipeline with the aim of securing sustainable, multi-year income.
- Support the Senior Philanthropy Manager to prepare accurate annual budgets, forecasts, and income phasing.

Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) is the only UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse and transforming responses to it.
Since our founding in 2017, we’ve proudly campaigned successfully for the recognition of economic abuse in UK law and influenced wide-ranging systemic change to transform responses to it. We're now entering an ambitious new phase, and we’re seeking a dynamic, strategic and values-led Head of Income as part of the Senior Leadership Teamto help drive it forward.
This is a critical time for SEA. With a bold three-year strategy now in place, we’re looking for an experienced income-generation leader to oversee and diversify our income streams — across high-net-worth giving, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, and earned income through consultancy and training. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Income will play a vital role in shaping the future of the organisation and enabling us to scale our impact.
The Head of Income will lead a talented team, including our Senior Fundraising Manager (trusts and foundations) and Corporate Development Manager (strategic multi-stakeholder partnerships), and collaborate closely with our CEO, Trustees and earned income delivery teams (consultancy and training) whilst also being hands on in relationship development. Your approach will be collaborative, survivor-centred and driven by SEA’s values. Ffald y Brenin is a well-established and respected Christian ministry centred on the Retreat Centre and House of Prayer in West Wales. Thousands of residential and day visitors come every year to experience God’s presence, to rest and to be strengthened in their Christian lives. Thousands of others engage in Ffald y Brenin’s ministry of Local Houses of Prayer (LHOP) globally, as well as using online and printed resources, or attending Prayer Days and conferences.
Ffald y Brenin is celebrating forty years of ministry this year with an increasing sense of excitement about what the Lord has in store for the next forty! We want to build on our foundations, rooted in contemplative prayer and worship, with Ffald y Brenin as the trysting place between individuals and God, expanding our reach across the generations. There are developing plans to extend our reach, which could include an enlarged footprint in space and activity. The vision is unfolding under the banner of #Next40, and we will be fundraising, inviting friends and supporters to invest in Ffald y Brenin’s future.

The Operations Manager/Projects Manager supports the Director and Ministry Leads in enabling Ffald y Brenin to play its part in cultivating the presence of God, serving the Body of Christ and the nation of Wales and blessing the nations globally. They do so by ensuring effective resource management and operations and through high quality project management. Also, at this important point in the history of Ffald y Brenin, they will play a key role in supporting the visionary development of our ministry as we engage with all that #Next40 offers, including new development projects.
Accountable for
● Implementing and maintaining policies and ensuring legal compliance
● Managing land and buildings (decor, maintenance, equipment, etc)
● Stewarding the charity’s resources with integrity and clarity, applying Charity Commission guidance
● Collaborating closely with Trustees and the Finance Officer to oversee operational and project budgets—translating financial data into purposeful decisions aligned with timelines, funding conditions, and the organisation’s wider mission
● Providing line management to the Finance Officer, supporting shared accountability in financial stewardship
● Provide line management and day-to-day support to the Head Gardener and Groundsman, ensuring estate operations align with safety, care, and the wider goals of the organisation

Person Specification

Job Purpose
In conjunction with the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships, develop and lead a corporate giving programme to create sustainable funding, in line with the Fundraising department strategy and Thames Valley Air Ambulance aims.
• To be responsible for the day-to-day management of corporate fundraising for Thames Valley Air Ambulance, maximising income from corporates and ensuring support is strengthened through compelling proposals and excellent stewardship.
• Act as a source of expertise in corporate fundraising for the charity.
Main Responsibilities
Partnership Acquisition & Pipeline Management
• Be responsible for delivering the Corporate Partnerships income target and expenditure Budgets.
• Secure new multi-year corporate partnerships, by identifying, researching and approaching prospects through creating strong proposals and pitches.
• Research, evaluate and develop new corporate fundraising opportunities including strategic partnerships, charity of the year partnerships, cause related marketing, payroll giving, cash or in-kind donations, sponsorship and pro-bono opportunities.
• To develop and maintain a robust pipeline of both new business and existing partnerships against income targets.
• As directed by the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships, deliver regular activity and income reports, and participate in the budgeting and forecasting of corporate income.
Relationship Management
• Manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships, building strong relationships and ensuring high level stewardship to encourage continued support and longevity.
• Plan, manage and deliver corporate cultivation and stewardship events; visits and meetings with existing supporters and new prospects, to develop and enhance relationships.
• Identify key senior contacts within your partnerships and drive stakeholder engagement plans, leveraging internal relationships where needed to increase partner commitment at all levels of the organisation.
• Participate in quarterly national fundraising meetings with Air Ambulance peers, actively supporting national partnership bids. Participate in quarterly corporate forums, sharing best practice and idea generation.
• Ensure all necessary agreements are in place and due diligence is undertaken prior to accepting corporate gifts and ensure corporate supporters activity protects the Thames Valley Air Ambulance brand at all times.
• All corporate supporter records are maintained and kept up to date using the fundraising CRM system (Dynamics).
• To work with the Volunteer Fundraising Manager to assist in fulfilment of volunteer opportunities at corporate events.
Other duties and responsibilities
• Maintain a detailed knowledge of Thames Valley Air Ambulance’s current work and future strategic plans, including networking with colleagues across the organisation to ensure a strong understanding and support of corporate fundraising across Thames Valley Air Ambulance.

We are working in partnership with a Richard House Children’s Hospice to secure their new Events Manager. Richard House helps children and their families in East London to lead as happy a life as possible when dealing with a life-limiting health condition. From the moment a child is diagnosed with a life-limiting, life-threatening or complex health condition everything changes. These changes affect the whole family, which is why Richard House feel it is vital not only to provide care to the child but to support the whole family. As a member of the fundraising team, you will directly support the charity’s work, as the majority of their services are funded thanks to the generosity of their supporters.
The Events Manager will develop an events programme that delivers excellent supporter-care to all fundraisers and supporters taking part in an event or organising their own activities, maximising income from these fundraising streams. Harnessing current supporters and leading the growth of our existing network of community and event supporters is key to this role, with a focus on developing pro-active individuals, corporates and groups wanting to engage with and support events. The role will be hands on, focused on operational delivery, supporting crucial short- and medium-term funding impact, as well as longer-term and sustainable corporate income for Richard House.
This role is offered on an interim basis, but with the option to become permanent.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
- A track record in managing and delivering fundraising events, including participant cultivation and stewardship.
- Evidence of developing supporter-care processes to increase engagement.
- Experience of the practical application of the Fundraising Regulator, Gift Aid and Data Protection legislation.
- Experience working with volunteers would be beneficial.
