As a senior community fundraiser, you’ll be an important part of the team building Breast Cancer Now’s presence in Scotland, with a particular focus on Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
We’re looking for someone who is an experienced relationship builder, someone who can find and develop new supporters. You’ll need excellent local knowledge, and the enthusiasm to develop a brand-new fundraising region.
The successful candidate will also be part of the team working on our large-scale project supporting and growing Asda Tickled Pink, our award-winning partnership with Asda and CoppaFeel! which has already raised over £100 million.
You’ll work directly with passionate colleagues across Asda stores in your region driving new fundraising initiatives, inspiring communities and celebrating incredible successes.

Primary location of role
This is a remote role, and the candidate will need to be based in the Edinburgh area with unlimited access to their own car. Regular travel will be required to meet supporters and visit Asda stores in your region, as well as occasional travel to our London, Sheffield or Glasgow office.

Key Responsibilities

Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Partnerships Manager. As a skilled relationship-builder, you excel in cultivating partnerships that generate income and drive mutual value whilst contributing to achieving strategic goals. Robes is a small but mighty charity tackling homelessness across Southwark and Lambeth. Working with over 600 volunteers, churches and community partners, we deliver life-changing services to vulnerable people on the streets.
In winter, we run emergency night shelters. Year-round, our Wednesday Club offers hot meals, showers and support. We provide up to six months of floating support to help guests secure sustainable accommodation and find employment or training.

The Role

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you’ll execute our new fundraising strategy, support our growth plans, research funding opportunities, write strong grant applications, manage a pipeline of major donor prospects, plan our 20th anniversary campaign, and provide quarterly progress reports.
With three days a week focused on foundation and corporate partnerships work, a full-time role would typically include one day on legacy work and one day on community events.
You bring at least three years' fundraising experience, ideally in a charity setting. You're skilled at grant writing, relationship management and strategic planning. You have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. You're proactive, flexible and genuinely motivated by mission.

This role is a fixed-term full time position, working 35 hours per week, providing maternity cover for 1 year from February 2026. Working hours would normally be 9-5pm Monday to Friday, but the role will require periods of out of hours working such as during the telephone campaign.
The role requires some days working at the Whiteknights Campus each week, but The Fundraising Team supports hybrid remote working arrangements too.

Key responsibilities
Events
· Oversee, coordinate and deliver our calendar of fundraising events including logistics and administration.
· Help organise our annual Appeal Dinner, the Trust’s flagship fundraising event, overseeing all administration, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and oversee adverts in Appeal Dinner brochure.
· Liaise with companies to arrange corporate events with Holocaust survivor speakers and develop relationships with existing and new companies to increase income in this area.
· Oversee and work with Young HET supporters to motivate them to fundraise for the Trust
· Work with other colleagues to market events through targeted messaging.
· Develop ideas for new fundraising campaigns, initiatives and events to grow income and cultivate new donors.
Community Fundraising
· Support fundraising campaigns including the coordination of appeals, newsletters and mailouts.
· Establish a programme of fundraising challenges (such as marathons and sporting events) to generate income and supporter engagement, building key relationships.
· Work with our Education and Outreach teams to oversee engagement and support from schools, synagogues and other institutions.
· Lead on digital fundraising campaigns and prepare content for social media.
General
· To manage the acknowledgment and thanking of donations and help to ensure the database is maintained.
· Work collaboratively with the Fundraising team on current and future fundraising strategy and activities, to shape fundraising priorities.
· Comply with relevant legislation with regards to data protection including General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
· As part of a small team, to contribute to other areas of the Trust’s work as required.

The role
Warm Wales is seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Fundraising Manager to play a key role in supporting our ambitions. You will lead income generation efforts for our forward-thinking charity. You will be responsible for identifying new sources of income and building strong relationships with new supporters. This post is central to generating external income through the development and submission of high-quality grant applications and contract proposals.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
General Income Generation
• Co-produce annual philanthropy and fundraising targets and take the lead responsibility to instigate and co-ordinate the activity that will achieve them.
• Develop a sustainable and diverse fundraising portfolio of individual giving, corporate, community, events, legacies and timely appeals
• Develop and manage campaigns activities that jointly raise funds and awareness of the charity
• Generate progress reports for the CEO and Board regularly, proactively identifying progress against expectations.
• Oversee the development of effective donor journey plans to ensure excellent stewardship, engagement and retention of donors
• Build long-lasting relationships with key philanthropists, donors, and funders.
• Work proactively with colleagues to research, identify and scope a portfolio of compelling projects and proposals that will appeal to donors and funders.
• Work with colleagues to identify and source sustainable income streams for fundable elements of core, project, and community engagement activities.

Person Specification

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and grow individual giving for a specialist conservation charity dedicated to protecting the UK’s wild songbird populations.
