As a Philanthropy Manager in DARO, you will be innovative, self-motivated, and take ownership of fundraising opportunities in this area and generate significant gifts for amazing philanthropic projects. Community Fundraising Manager
The Mencap Community and Events Team has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated and passionate fundraiser, dedicated to raising as much funds as possible to help make the UK the best place to live for people with a learning disability to join our team as Senior Community Fundraising Manager covering England and Wales.
Covering the England and Wales the Community Fundraising Manager will be responsible for managing various income streams across the Community portfolio working closely with the wider team.

Purpose of Job:
The postholder plays a key role in managing the alumni network, with a specific emphasis on events and volunteer management, to actively engage alumni and stakeholders with Queen Mary’s Grammar School. The Fundraising Co-Ordinator will raise the profile and awareness of Young Bristol and working with the Head of Fundraising develop a fundraising work plan to qualify and develop a range of key funding streams. The post holder will help to develop and ensure the effective delivery of the fundraising plan in line with Young Bristol’s strategy. The role will be multi faceted involving Grants, Trusts and Foundations, Community fundraising, Corporate fundraising, Legacy fundraising, Events and High Value fundraising.
The role will work collaboratively to explore ideas and launch new initiatives helping Young Bristol achieve our mission, playing an important part in helping us to meet our fundraising targets and increasing participation and community engagement in our events and fundraising activities.

Right now, we are looking for a high performing senior fundraising leader to take on the role of Head of Fundraising Planning (maternity cover) at Royal British Legion. This senior role is an essential part of the fundraising leadership team, working to drive our strategic development and the implementation of some key projects across the department.
Leading a team of 7 with four managers, as Head of Fundraising Planning you will lead our approach to Customer Journeys, Case for Support, Portfolio Review, Innovation, Integrated Planning and Compliance.
It is an exciting time for fundraising at RBL. We are now one year into our Fundraising Strategy and have been evolving our ways of working and programme to drive growth. This role will help drive further change, championing supporter experience and bringing together organisational and sector insight.

As Trusts Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for developing new and existing relationships with trusts, foundations and statutory bodies in order to generate income. You will Identify, research and approach prospective contacts to cultivate relationships and generate new business. You will also develop and manage a realistic weighted pipeline of trusts and foundations income including the development of new multi-year and growth fund opportunities.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Demonstrate ownership of delivering at least one full financial cycle of trust and foundations fundraising.
- Good knowledge of Trusts & Foundations funding, timescales and reporting requirements.
- Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) to engage with funders and supporters.
- Strong copywriting and research skills to be able to write compelling applications.
