You’ll assist with the delivery of legacy marketing campaigns and loyalty activities, ensuring campaigns are executed on time and within budget to maximise responses and overall value. You'll manage various tasks, from circulating artwork and content for approval to raising purchase orders and handling invoices. You’ll also oversee loyalty communications, address queries from internal teams and supporters, and manage donor stewardship processes for legacies and In Memoriam donations. Post-campaign analysis, tracking campaign performance, and maintaining stock levels of collateral will also be key parts of your responsibilities, while collaborating with the digital team to ensure timely updates to our web pages.

IKWRO –Women’s Rights Organisation (IKWRO) is an award-winning charity founded (as the Iranian and Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation) in 2002. IKWRO provides direct services including advocacy and professional counselling. IKWRO opened the UK’s first specialist Middle Eastern women’s refuge. IKWRO has led the recognition of “honour” based abuse and “honour” killing as forms of violence against women and girls. Campaign successes include; the first extradition from Kurdistan-Iraq to the UK of perpetrators of “honour” killing of Banaz Mahmod, the UK’s criminalisation of forced marriage, child marriage, virginity testing and hymenoplasty, as well as the first ever national inspection of policing of “honour” based violence.

1. Lead the Communications and Marketing function and strategy:

- Work with Head of Development to ensure the C&M strategy integrates with our fundraising strategy, driving impact, building trust, and ensuring sustainability; and

2. Manage our annual communications plan:
- Produce engaging and meaningful content for communications and marketing purposes, including copy and graphics
- Write and publish key communications throughout the year, e.g. blog posts and newsletters (Mailchimp) to maintain a strong profile and grow our support base;
- Manage social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, scheduling regular, high-quality posts, and managing Meta Ads, to engage existing and new audiences;
- Create engaging digital content, with input from the team on messaging and purpose, to raise Action Syria’s profile and support our fundraising and marketing campaigns;
- Work with the fundraising function on Action Syria’s digital fundraising strategy, with a focus on optimising donor journeys; and
- Support the team with asset design for fundraising campaigns where required.
3. Act as guardian of Action Syria’s brand, ensuring it is fit for purpose:
- Develop comprehensive brand guidelines, in line with our recent rebrand; and

We are looking for an experienced and passionate direct marketing professional, or someone with relevant transferable skills, to join us as our new Direct Marketing Fundraiser.
This is an exciting time to join the fundraising team with significant growth across multiple income streams, including individual giving. This role will be integral to developing our individual giving programme to support the growth and sustainability of our income, whilst also driving supporter engagement. You will be responsible for the hospice’s direct mail campaigns and maintaining and developing strong relationships with donors to maximise income generation. You will be involved in a range of individual giving activities including regular giving, appeals and lottery.
You will have excellent communication skills, being able to communicate effectively with staff, volunteers and supporters and will work closely with our Communications and Marketing team. We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, strong organisational abilities and a track record of delivering projects on time.
Based at our state-of-the-art children’s hospice just outside Maidenhead, this role is a brilliant opportunity for someone to add value to a growing fundraising team. About the role
We’re looking for a Fundraising Engagement Manager with great personality and team ethic to join our Regional Fundraising team.
This is a role of variety, opportunity and innovation, and we are looking for someone who embraces change and constantly strives to achieve more.
You will maximise income for Young Live vs Cancer by coaching our supporters to reach their goals, whilst seeking out new fundraising opportunities for your geographical area. This role sits within the ‘Regional Engagement’ team and we need someone with natural customer service skills who wants to deliver a legendary experience to all of their supporters. Your team of supporters will range from volunteers and individuals, to groups and local corporates.
The West Midlands and North Wales regions are areas filled with some of our most committed supporters, but there is still so much opportunity to grow corporate support across the counties. Our Social Workers support families from Birmingham hospitals and out in the community in North Wales, so building relationships with these teams are a must.

What will I be doing?

- To plan, monitor and report on your budgeted income with a constant eye on contingency planning to ensure annual targets are achieved;
- To steward our most committed supporters and deliver legendary supporter experience;
- To be a key, valued member of your regional team and UK wide team;
- To identify, cultivate and secure partnerships and donations within your area;
- To work with your local service team/s to build and maintain strong and effective working relationships;
- To be the first point of contact for service user families, to offer opportunities to them and their networks to engage with the wider charity as they would like I.e. fundraising, volunteering, sharing their story
What do I need?
- A proven track record of delivering amazing customer experiences
- Experience of relationship management in either a charity or corporate setting
- Ability to work within a financial target-based setting, and experience of reaching/exceeding set targets
- Demonstrable experience of winning new business
- Experience of managing own workload
- Proven ability to manage/complete projects
- Able to ‘make the ask’ for support and to influence/negotiate
- Have a full UK driving licence and access to a car (including business insurance)
- Have a sufficient Broadband connection

Amongst other criteria, the successful candidate will have:
- A proven track record of successful income generation across multiple fundraising streams, ideally including major donors, events, trusts and foundations, legacies, corporate partnerships and community fundraising.
- A proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to spot opportunities, shape compelling cases for support, and deliver results.
- The confidence to operate at a senior level and deputise for the Charity Director when needed.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build meaningful, lasting relationships with supporters, donors and volunteers.
- A deep connection to the mission of hospice care, and a commitment to our values of compassion, dignity and respect.
