We have a new and exciting vacancy, The Centre Manager (the Manager) will play a key role in ensuring the management and smooth running of the Coventry Boys and Girls Club (Centre). This includes the management of the Senior Management Team (SMT), to ensure the compliance of/to and oversee all administration processes and procedures (including all legal requirements) and financial management.
A key role of this job is to develop the centre’s business in consultation with senior staff, service users to understand the needs of the community and thus create bespoke opportunities in response. This also includes working with and across stakeholders from statutory, voluntary and the commercial sector to generate greater means of collaborative working, and manage a facility which is both safe, sustainable, and friendly for users.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage the safe and efficient operational delivery of the centre in conjunction with the Senior Management Team (SMT)
· To ensure that the service is fully compliant within its regulated marketplace and that the quality assurance processes are implemented and maintained.
· To support in strategy development, expansion planning and the delivery of the business plan and profit targets, working with the SMT to ensure new business generation in line with agreed budgets.
· To review data and SMT reports to evaluate, advise and support further improvement.
KEY TASKS:
· In conjunction with the Board of Directors to oversee the centre, supporting the Senior Management (SMT) and staff team to maintain compliance within those services and in particular, supporting with any safeguarding concerns.
· Closely oversee any areas of concern in the day-to-day operations of the centre and provide on call advice and assistance as part of an agreed rota.
· To implement and oversee KPI’s for the SMT in line with the centre’s goals, managing any areas of concern.
· To help deliver expansion plans across the centre, in particular working with the SMT to maximise the use of the centre’s facilities.
· To ensure that the SMT promote the use of the Centre by, amongst other things, maintaining the Centre’s website and other social media and maximise publicity opportunities and liaising with the local media, and to build relationships and acknowledge funders and their contributions.
· To advise the SMT and Directors on areas for development, areas of good practice and areas for improvement; introducing systems and work practices in order to deliver change where needed. To take quick and decisive action where any decline in outcomes is identified.
· To keep up to date with all regulatory changes and good safeguarding practice.
· To effectively introduce, communicate and share good practice examples across the staff.
· To help build on and further develop a strong and well-balanced team, developing new staff to come through across all regions and developing team resilience.
· Ensuring all Company Policies and Procedures are implemented, managed and monitored.
· Ensuring that all Legislation and Regulations are implemented, managed and monitored.
· Reporting via a board report, and attending board meetings, to share all relevant information within your role.
· To share key information following the board meeting with the SMT in a timely manner.
· To collaborate with directors and key staff to develop new systems, processes, or practices in line with the company requirements.
· Supporting the SMT to ensure that the service follows the agreed recruitment and selection processes, ensuring that the company’s staffing levels are maintained accordingly.
· Assist in the investigation process and hear grievances for formal disciplinary hearings (inc appeals) as appropriate and where requested.
· To investigate and apply for external funding.
· To promote and maintain positive, fruitful relationships with all stake holders, particularly Coventry City Council, to seek compatibility of activities and delivery of innovative joint ventures.
· To inform the directors, of any serious areas of concern.
· Maintain absolute confidentiality and follow all GDPR guidance and policy.

Education and training:
· Educated to degree level or have equivalent experience / qualification

It's an exciting time to join the fundraising team at Prostate Cancer UK as we deliver on a new strategy. We've seen an upward trend in our fundraising income over the last decade and we're anticipating further growth in the next five years. We're introducing new roles to transform how we work and intentionally integrate our individual giving with our work across fundraising, brand and health awareness. You'll play a vital role within our successful mass fundraising function, helping us strengthen our propositions to acquire new supporters and secure long-term support.
In this key role, you'll be at the forefront of developing and delivering our individual giving strategy. You'll lead on the acquisition of new supporters and work to diversify our channels based on supporter insights. The Philharmonia Orchestra is seeking an organised, analytical and proactive Development Research and Operations Manager (DROM) to support the growth in fundraising activity of a busy and ambitious orchestra. The post-holder will deliver high-quality philanthropic research, pipeline and CRM management, the creation of donor briefings for individual, corporate and trust supporters, and horizon scanning for new and future opportunities.
As the department’s research and CRM lead, the DROM will generate prospect research on those suggested by senior volunteers (Board, Development Board etc.) and those identified in our database, Tessitura. They will support fundraisers across giving streams to create engagement and cultivation plans, and act as the pipeline management champion for the team. The DROM will support fundraisers to ensure activity and contacts is logged consistently, working closely with the Head of Development to monitor KPIs, track and record income and maintain accurate donor and donation records.
This position is central to ensuring that frontline fundraisers can focus on income generation, supported by robust operational processes, accurate data, and high-quality research.
This role reports to the Head of Development and will work closely with the Senior Development Manager (Philanthropy) and Director of Development. The work of the Development team is actively supported by the Philharmonia’s Development Board.
Key Responsibilities
Research and Pipeline Development:

Overall purpose of the role
To lead the development of a regular giving and legacy programme at the AHF, and to support the Director of Programmes/Deputy CEO in development and management of a major gifts programme during the AHF’s 50th Anniversary campaign, with possibility for continued role thereafter. 2 Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Director of Programmes/Deputy CEO on development and delivery of the anniversary programme of activities, with particular focus on research to identify potential invitees to and engaging attendees at and after campaign launch and closure events, exhibition launches in Belfast, Glasgow, Cardiff, and London, and an industry-facing conference in London.
- Develop and manage a legacy programme for the AHF including stewardship activities; develop and manage a personal portfolio of legacy donors, including making asks of existing regular supporters to consider legacies and development and drafting of legacy proposals and contracts.
- Develop and manage a programme of higher-level regular giving (over £500 per annum), including stewardship activities and making asks of regular supporters to increase their giving.
- Support the Director of Programmes/Deputy CEO, and CEO, with identification and management of a growing portfolio of major gift prospects, including supporting major gifts asks and helping Director of Programmes/Deputy CEO and CEO with ongoing cultivation and stewardship of major donors.
- Lead on managing the AHF’s donor database, Beacon, ensuring the data is up to date with giving from Charities Aid Foundation and other external gifts, that fundraising activity is appropriately recorded on the database, and that our records are fully compliant with data protection legislation.
- Work closely with the Communications Office and consultants supporting the AHF’s 50th Anniversary campaign, with an eye on developing and maximising opportunities to introduce the AHF to new potential supporters and to bolster our key messaging with those already known to us. As part of this work, sit as Secretary of the AHF Communications and Anniversary subcommittee of our Board.
- Develop and maintain a reporting structure to keep AHF SMT and Board up to date with fundraising activity and opportunities.
- Responsible for maintaining the AHF’s log relating to Donor Due Diligence and assisting the Director of Programmes & Deputy CEO with maintaining appropriate policies related to fundraising, including those associated with donor due diligence.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of new ways of working at the AHF that will see our organisation build and maintain greater philanthropic fundraising success, including bringing examples of best practice from other charities. Assist with other tasks and activities as required, particularly those activities and processes that support the wider engagement of potential supporters with the AHF’s work.

The Sophie Lancaster Foundation was founded in 2009 after Sophie Lancaster and her boyfriend were attacked because of their alternative appearance. Sophie later died from her injuries. The role involves creating a fundraising function from the bottom up and then developing and implementing a fundraising strategy. Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, this role will take a lead on nurturing existing partnerships and developing new ones, with a specific focus on increasing income through employee engagement and payroll giving schemes. It will also ensure that each partnership is maximised and aligned with Hearing Dogs’ mission and fundraising goals.
The post-holder will work closely with internal teams and corporate supporters to deliver engaging campaigns, employee fundraising, volunteering opportunities and impactful communications that help raise income and awareness for the charity.
It is a role that will require excellent stewardship, creativity and commercial awareness skills for mutual value – that means you will need strong relationship management and excellent communication skills. A background in corporate fundraising will be essential, alongside the ability to identify and maximise the potential of corporate support opportunities, including financial and in-kind support. You will also have experience of managing charity-of-the-year partnerships or working with employee fundraising programmes.

Role and Responsibilities
The Donor Engagement Manager is an integral component of IFAW’s global Development team. Reporting to the Deputy Vice President, Development, the Donor Engagement Manager leads a robust donor communications, engagement, and stewardship program for high-net-worth (HNW) individuals, spearheading the development of strategy and plans, and supervising a team of contractors and freelancers for project implementation. The successful candidate will contribute to the attainment of ambitious growth goals (including current use, endowments, and significant gifts in will), by inspiring donors’ philanthropic support and leading the creation and implementation of a suite of donor communications and experiences.
Critical responsibilities include:
Create dynamic donor engagement plan
· Spearhead donor engagement plans, including cultivation, stewardship experiences, and recognition
· Drive a robust calendar of communications and activities to optimize donor engagement, mission impact, and a best-in class donor experience with IFAW
· Advise and support frontline fundraisers with strategy and content for donor communications and proposals; collaborate with gift officers on HNW individual donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts, including development of custom proposals and cases for support
· Collaborate with communications and program teams to create compelling donor impact reports, donor newsletters, webinars, bespoke proposals, and other tools that drive and support effective engagement, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major- and principal-level gifts as well as larger legacy commitments; maintain curated library of assets for gift officers to use or customize
· Gather and share impact stories, data, and testimonials to demonstrate the value of donor contributions
· Plan and oversee execution of exclusive engagement opportunities (in-person and virtual) for target audience, designed to highlight IFAW programmatic expertise and build stronger donor relationships
· Develop and implement personalized stewardship plans for select principal and major donors, working closely with frontline fundraisers and relationship managers

Manage projects and personnel
· Lead, coach, and manage a team of freelancers responsible for communications, stewardship, and engagement activities; oversee contracts, monitor deliverables and expenditures

Collaboration and fundamentals
· Ensure routine fundraising communications and templates for major gifts are up-to-date, accurate, and on brand (e.g., fundraising appeals, donor education emails, gift acknowledgments, holiday cards, swag)
· Manage creation and updates of bespoke proposals so that they are timely and well-designed
· Improve integration of mail / email outreach
· Collaborate with communications and marketing teams to optimize use and creative repurposing of resources and collateral materials

· Update and improve naming opportunities for major and principal gifts, named and endowed funds, larger legacies and blended gifts from HNW individuals
Strategic guidance and innovation
· Collaborate with DVP Development to recommend and implement effective points of contact with donors for the purposes of cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of six-figure+ gifts
· Identify opportunities to present our work more effectively and enhance the donor experience
· Launch or relaunch giving societies – e.g., cumulative lifetime giving, high-end annual giving, legacy society – with an emphasis on philanthropy and engagement rather than perks and benefits
· Advise on ways to streamline and improve donor communications and engagement, e.g., by leveraging technology, balancing push / pull outreach, adjusting the mix of print / digital and other media
· Guide the larger Development team in positioning our programs to inspire greater philanthropic support
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Minimum 4-5 years of related experience in nonprofit stewardship, donor communications, fundraising, or related transferable experience
· Experience leading a team in a development setting, including direct supervision of colleagues in donor engagement and stewardship; and/or management of a stable of contractors and freelancers
· Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment and lead numerous functions and various projects simultaneously
· Exceptional written communication, relationship-building, project management and collaboration skills

Key duties
Major Donor Fundraising

Job Summary
As a key role within the Fundraising Division, the Legacy Marketing Manager will work to achieve the essential long-term legacy income that helps Anthony Nolan to save the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders.
You will do this by shaping and implementing our legacy marketing plans to achieve our long-term income goals. You will develop an audience-centric and insight-driven legacy marketing programme to attract and steward potential legators. Essential attributes:
- Experience of creating and managing large scale, multi-channel, audience-centric and insight-led response-driving fundraising or marketing campaigns
- Demonstrable track record of achieving legacy fundraising success through integrated communications to individual supporters, with experience of effective supporter stewardship to drive loyalty
- A track record of developing and meeting targets within budget
- A working understanding of legacies and the legacy administration process and experience of working with solicitors and online will writing partners.
