You will be joining a small but passionate team, full of positivity, energy and drive to succeed and we need someone who will be a part of our success, helping to achieve our new vision for the charity to ensure we can creating lasting memories for all children and young people with a life limiting illness.

In this role you will be responsible for working across corporate partnerships, major donors, trusts and foundations, with a prominent focus on supporting with account management of existing partnerships and developing our pipeline of prospects. The charity has a history of success in these areas and we would love to have someone join the team to build upon this success.

Ideally the candidate would have existing experience in corporate partnerships, but we are open to candidates with experience in one or more of the fundraising disciplines mentioned above, with a willingness to develop their skills and experience, through a supportive, coaching and a mentoring leadership style.

Key Responsibilities

Partnerships

• Support with creating proposals and pitches to secure Brand, Corporate and Commercial Partnerships, with a strong focus on shared purpose and mutual benefit, to create successful long term strategic partnerships.
• Support with relationship management of current partners of Rays of Sunshine, ensuring they have materials to aid their fundraising.
• To manage the input of corporate partnership data on the CRM system (currently Donorfy).
• Manage the updates to the corporate pipeline master document, ensuring appropriate actions are met within deadline.
• Supporting the Corporate Volunteer Researcher to undertake the necessary research to support our pipeline of approaches.

Philanthropy

• Creating supporter updates and reports to demonstrate the impact of funding received from our Patrons and Major Donors, providing excellent stewardship to existing donors.
• Provide support with the event planning of major donor events, and attend in person to provide support of events on the day. 

Trusts and Foundations

•  Support with research and the successful completion applications to secure donations from a pipeline of identified Trusts and Foundations

Stewardship

•  Identifying new opportunities to create wow moments for donors and provide excellent stewardship of all major donors and partnerships.

General

• General administrative duties, including record meeting notes and actions, following up with partners, sending out of promotional materials, monitoring and responding to email enquiries, and taking telephones calls.
• Any other duties to support the success of the fundraising team.

This role will provide strategic oversight and direction for Lepra’s institutional fundraising function to deliver on the restricted and unrestricted income targets. Line managing and leading the Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser in the delivery of the trust fundraising target, and working with the programmes teams in the UK, India and Bangladesh to identify and develop applications to statutory sources and major trusts, leading on the development of detailed project proposals.

What the job involves

We’re looking an Events and Community Fundraising Coordinator to join our high performing Events and Community Team. The team are driven to maximise opportunities, we aim to reach ambitious targets and provide an excellent supporter experience.

Our team raise funds through a range of activities including:

• Our own events (e.g. March for Men)
• Virtual products (e.g. The Month Series)
• Third party events (e.g. London Marathon)
• Golf Days
• Helping community fundraisers who organise their own activity

You’ll be supporting our third-party events programme and be our first point of contact for our fundraisers. You'll provide admin support for our registration processes and support fundraisers through telephone, email, and social media channels. You’ll build and manage relationships with existing and new supporters. From registration to the end of their supporter journey you'll help motivate during challenges, offer fundraising advice and ensure thanks at the end of a first-class experience.

Whilst third party events will be your primary area of responsibility across different types of events, you’ll also get the chance to work across teams to provide support where needed during busy periods of activity.

This role works with data through maintaining our Raiser’s Edge database. You'll also update records on JustGiving and Enthuse. This requires accuracy and working under the requirements of GDPR.

You’ll also work with our Communications teams supports the planning and delivery of our activity. You'll help engage with our digital adverts and identify compelling supporter stories. This helps to raise the profile of our fundraising products, as well as prostate cancer and Prostate Cancer UK.

• Maintaining up-to-date supporter records on our database and identifying opportunities to improve processes for tracking relationships and capturing data on our progress;

• Acting as the Relationship Manager for a small pipeline of Trust and Foundations;
• Assisting in the planning, administration and delivery of fundraising and stewardship events;
• Assisting in regular reporting and updates to both staff and funders;
• Working with our Finance team to track donation payments, process invoices etc;
• Supporting the Senior Fundraising Manager and the Communications team in the online planning, administration and analysis of Individual Giving Programmes;
• Supporting with copywriting and pulling information together to share with funders;
• Support with management of donation platforms;
• Other ad-hoc administrative duties as and when required.

About the role

You will support fundraisers across the schools audience, providing them with a remarkable experience and keep them coming back to the charity.

This role sits within the Development team, a sub-team of Philanthropy, at Alzheimer’s Society and plays a vital role in the success of our Insurance United Against Dementia campaign. Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD) is a senior volunteer led industry initiative which has raised an incredible £9million to date. We have ambitious plans to reach an initial £10million target within the next 12-months and to take the campaign into a second phase to achieve further impact.

Since the campaign launched in September 2017, we have seen significant success, raising awareness of dementia and the profile of Alzheimer’s Society and IUAD across the industry through corporate partnerships, philanthropy, industry events and owned activities. 

We are looking for an individual who matches the ambition of the team and our industry supporter, someone with a personable style that can take ownership of the events fundraising stream and communication plans for the IUAD campaign. 

The post holder offers unique opportunities to take responsibility for key initiatives, such as our flagship fundraising event, the Insurance Day for Dementia. The successful candidate will also lead on the securing, development, and delivery of activity within industry events and fundraising events led by industry supporters. 

The role also leads key supporter and industry communications which help to celebrate successes and impact, while also growing awareness and engagement. This multi-faceted role will also support activations and exciting events, which are secured through our other development board and campaign, Sport United Against Dementia.

Our client is the charity for the working animal of the world. As part of the charity’s ambitious strategic development plans, they are recruiting a Fundraising Relationships and Business Development Manager. In this role, you will drive the development and growth of their corporate and high-value donor relationships. You will grow the acquisition of new high-value donors and corporate partners, while developing our relationships with existing funders.

Your key responsibilities include:

High value donor and corporate fundraising programme management

- Manage the development and delivery of the high-value donor and corporate fundraising programme, to maximise relationships, partnerships, and long-term income.
- Develop and drive the delivery of a structured, dynamic, and agile acquisition plan for the high- value donor and corporate programme, to maximise engagement and income.
- Develop existing and new relationships though the right mix of tailored approaches/asks and exemplary stewardship activities (such as feedback reports, face to face meetings, phone calls) to secure new sources of funding, upgrade existing levels of giving, repeat donations and multi-year funding.
- Manage the high-value donor and corporate marketing and stewardship programmes, supervising appeals, approaches, updates, and all related activities to ensure clear, concise and compelling proposals and reporting.
- Provide the Fundraising Relationships Officer with clear, collaborative, and supportive line management, that maximises staff performance and wellbeing.
- Research and pursue high-value donor fundraising work in assigned new target areas (both in the UK and overseas territories within their global fundraising programme, such as Australia) to expand the programme’s reach and impact.
- Manage the development and delivery of their fundraising events.
- Work with colleagues to ensure required PR and communications activities concerning major donors funding are developed and delivered.

Programme support and administration

- Take responsibility for the high-value donor and corporate fundraising budgets and contribute to target setting, monitoring, and analysis of the programme.
- Provide regular reports and information on progress, targets and income generated.
- Deputise for the Head of Philanthropy and Fundraising Partnerships when required.
- Ensure all activities are legally compliant, in keeping with their values and adherent to due diligence and our Acceptance or Refusal of Donations Policy.

Your knowledge:

- Knowledge of high-value donor and corporate fundraising principles and practices.

While experience working in a dedicated innovation role isn't necessary, experience using tools to uncover insight, facilitate workshops, generate ideas, test propositions, and deliver compelling business cases is essential.
