About the role 

As a Future Frontiers Partnerships Manager, your role is to identify, develop and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with organisations which work with us to enable our mission. This is key to delivering our work and making a lasting difference for young people from under-resourced backgrounds on their education and career journeys. 

The focus of the role is on building meaningful, long-term relationships with schools and/or businesses, to match young people from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds with business professionals who can provide insight into the world of work and guidance to help young people unlock their aspirations and develop the plans and skills they need to be successful. 

Our Partnerships Managers each have a focus on a priority audience, either schools or businesses, and on an activity area, either new business development or account management. The role we are currently recruiting for will have a main focus on driving new business from companies. 

Your responsibilities

The focus of each role could expand or change depending on the needs of the organisation. Current priorities and targets are reflected in each individual’s objectives for the year - these are regularly reviewed to ensure that they remain relevant and create ownership and stretch for each individual. 

Core responsibilities across the Partnership Development and Partnership Management teams include: 

Securing new partnerships

• Identify potential partners for Future Frontiers, focussing on organisations where there is synergy with Future Frontiers and/or where we can address a clear need for them

• Engage with potential partners through the most suitable channel (email, LinkedIn, phone/video call or in person) to understand their priorities and identify how Future Frontiers can meet their needs

• Deliver targeted campaigns and pitches of the most appropriate product(s) / way(s) to engage; handle objections and negotiate terms to help Future Frontiers to achieve income and impact targets and support more young people to achieve their potential 

Maintain relationships; renew and grow partnerships

• Nurture relationships with existing partners, working with colleagues across Future Frontiers to ensure smooth delivery and an exceptional partner experience

• Explore opportunities to grow partnerships through working together in different ways and/or extending involvement to more pupils or colleagues

• Regularly request feedback and respond to suggestions from partners, helping them to feed involved and engaged with Future Frontiers’ work and development 

• Maintain professional and timely communications with partners, following up on actions and delivering on commitments

Set up and enable successful partnership working

• Work with key contacts to agree objectives, responsibilities and deadlines. Maintain accurate records of partnership activities and conversation, ensuring that the Salesforce database is kept up to date

• Support partners with messaging and resources for internal and external communications, to enable them to build Future Frontiers into their organisations 

• Coordinate with Future Frontiers colleagues to ensure that activities involving partners are well-run and that everyone is clear on their role in delivering successful interventions for young people

Stakeholder engagement, marketing and communications

• Use templates to create materials and communications to your audiences which align with Future Frontiers’ brand and convery core messaging 

• Ensure that the partners you manage are engaged with relevant stakeholder communications, including events, newsletters and social media

• Proactively identify suitable content (or opportunities to develop content) from your partners to share in Future Frontiers’ marketing and communications, enabling us to build the charity’s brand and engage new audiences 

Wider contribution

• Contribute to department-, directorate- and organisation-wide projects and priorities through membership of project groups or taking on pieces of work in line with your skills, experience and development objectives

• Act as an ambassador for Future Frontiers, our cause and values in all engagements and communications with partners, supporters and suppliers

About you

Experience and knowledge  

• Experience in a fundraising, sales or account management role, ideally working with businesses and/or schools (essential)

• Demonstrable success in hitting and exceeding targets in a fast-paced environment (essential)

• Experience of working in a team, taking ownership of areas of work and contributing to shared successes (essential)

• Experience implementing a range of marketing techniques, including digital and email marketing (desirable)

• Knowledge of the UK education system (desirable)

• Understanding of the UK charity sector and relevant legislation and best practice, such as GDPR and the Code of Fundraising Practice (desirable)

Fundraising

• Develop and implement LBL’s individual giving fundraising strategy (including one off, cash appeals and regular giving)

Database Management

• Manage the organisation’s database: Beacon
• Take a lead on ensuring data is properly processed, clean and useful for the team
• Manage data entry and updates on our CRM database to maintain up to date records on supporter contact information, attributes, relationships and donations

As we embark on an exciting 3-year fundraising strategy, we’re looking for a Senior Direct Marketing Executive to join our Individual Giving Team here at Prostate Cancer UK. This is a newly created role within the team which will oversee acquisition and new product development.

You’ll be part of an exciting time at the charity, joining us as we roll out our new Fundraising strategy and continue investment in Acquisition. In this role you’ll take ownership of planning, implementing and reporting on fully integrated acquisition campaigns across a range of channels including DRTV, Digital, Telephone, SMS and OOH.

You’ll work closely with teams from across the organisation and our media agency to ensure a truly integrated, collaborative approach. Together with the team, you’ll identify opportunities, apply learnings from past campaigns, and enhance future performance.

Leading on testing across the Acquisition team, you’ll innovate to drive the lowest attrition, best ROI and strongest lifetime value. Aside from excellent knowledge and experience of working in a direct marketing environment managing fully integrated campaigns, you’ll also have strong digital campaign management experience, ideally gained from a fundraising environment. You’ll have experience in developing and implementing effective testing strategies and ideally also have experience in developing new marketing or fundraising products.

You’ll possess first class communication skills; a strong team ethic and you will be at ease working with and influencing key internal and external stakeholders at all levels. The ability to manage expenditure budgets and projects is also essential, along with proven knowledge of data protection and sector compliance.

Duties and key responsibilities

Database Administration (Raiser’s Edge NXT)

• Maintain and update supporter records, including constituent and gift data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Process donation streams including MuchLoved, Enthuse and others, ensuring accurate integration and reconciliation.
• Work with the Database Manager to develop and manage Omatic Cloud processes for importing and automating gift data from external fundraising platforms.
• Process and record Gift Aid declarations in accordance with HMRC guidelines.
• Conduct data cleansing activities to maintain accuracy of records (e.g. address updates).
• Manage and maintain subscription forms (WordPress), ensuring accurate data capture and integration with Raiser’s Edge NXT.
• Extract and analyse data to support fundraising and operational reporting using Raiser’s Edge NXT queries and Excel.
• Contribute to the annual internal database audit, collaborating with the Senior Database Officer and Database Manager to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.

Financial Support

• Monitor all income and update the income spreadsheet daily.
• Monthly reconciliations between Raiser’s Edge NXT and the income spreadsheet.
• Work with the Senior Finance Officer to carry out income reconciliations between Sage 50 and Raiser’s Edge NXT.

Senior Events Executive, Global’s Make Some Noise

This is a rare opportunity for someone with a minimum of 1-2 years events experience looking to take the next step and expand their skills by working on a diverse range of events ranging from our high profile celebrity fronted gala Global’s Make Some Noise Night, to stewardship events at incredible venues including Downing Street and The House of Lords to breakfast events in Global’s Leicester Square office. In addition, you will have the chance to broaden your skills by volunteering at major events including Capital’s Summertime Ball and Jingle Bell Ball, and help shape new events led by presenters and committees.

It is a hugely exciting time to join, as events are set to play an instrumental role in helping the charity develop a new dynamic portfolio to engage new high value supporters. This role will be pivotal in shaping the future calendar and helping to meet our ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Management and Supporter Stewardship (30%)

• To support the Senior Events Manager in ensuring that every event plan is delivered to the highest level

• Provide support on guest management, ensuring a smooth process for guests during the lead up to and on the day of the event.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors, guests and stakeholders ensuring excellent stewardship and recognition through access to incredible Global Event and Podcast experiences.

Fundraising Auction/Prizes (35%)

• Collaborate with the Senior Manager to devise ambitious and engaging fundraising mechanics ranging from innovative Sponsorship. Opportunities, to show stopping Auctions to inspiring pledge moments

• Lead on securing auction prizes for relevant events, developing relationships with key supporters and external businesses to secure exclusive and desirable auction items, and lead the build for the online auction site.

• Manage the auction fulfilment process, ensuring all auction winners are thanked post event and that lots are fulfilled in a timely manner.

• Oversee online auction platform, ensuring accurate listings, engaging descriptions and looking for ways to maximise income.

• Support prize procurement across the team as required.

Event Adminstration and Processes (35%)

• To support the Senior Events Manager with financial management of each event, supporting on areas such as: budgeting, planning, controlling and monitoring expenditure as appropriate and managing income against targets, KPI’s and provide regular revised projections as required.

• To maintain good practice in the use of database system ensuring that information is recorded accurately to allow for excellent supporter care, stewardship and accurate analysis of event performance.

• To keep up to date with current competitor activity, potential new opportunities for events and improved ways of managing and developing events.

• To undertake any other tasks reasonably required.

• Worked closely with the Senior Events Manager to understand the events calendar and new strategy

• Assisted with planning our annual gala taking place in November 2025 aiming to raise £1million+

• Understood event project plans and key processes including guest management, finance processes and managing the events inbox

• Shared new ideas to help shape future sponsorship and fundraising mechanics

• Established a plan to lead Prize outreach and fulfilment for future fundraising events, being the main point of contact for 50+ prize contacts, organising their experiences using great project management and customer service skills.

• Built internal relationships with some of the charity’s most valuable stakeholders in Global, as well as valued and long-term external supporters and suppliers

• Utilised your new relationships to sell-out our charity allocation of VIP tickets to a range of Global events

• Designed brilliant assets for our events from engaging invitations to donation cards

• Supported the team in the lead up to our annual Make Some Noise appeal in October

What you’ll need 
 
The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, be proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions, capable of the following: 

• Background: Previous experience in a charity or events agency environment. An understanding of working within a charity’s Special Events Team is an advantage.

• Relationships: You’ll be an excellent communicator with the ability to build rapport, engage supporters and secure support from external stakeholders.

• Resilience: You’ll be a self-starter with great energy and stamina, and the ability to bounce back from setbacks with positivity and determination.

• Event Management: You’ll have a good understanding of event management processes and excellent attention to detail

• Fundraising proven success supporting on a range of fundraising mechanics used at events.  Experience working with the EMMA Auction platform will be helpful.

• Finance: Proven experience of managing finance processes and invoices with suppliers and supporters

• Planning: You’ll be highly organised, with demonstrable experience of working under pressure, often to tight deadlines.

The Role
To act as the first point of contact for Individual Giving and provide on-going support to donors. This includes but is not limited to, thanking donors, responding to enquiries and providing support and advice in relation to donating to the charity
To deliver and fine tune stewardship for all one-off and regular donors. Stewardship must thank supporters in a timely manner and provide information and inspiration to show how the donor how their gift makes a difference. This includes sending emails and letters, welcome packs, and personalised email updates and resources.
To support the Head of Public Fundraising with appeals and other Individual Giving projects that the charity will be running an appeal in June and in November and December in the lead up to Christmas.
To utilise Raisers Edge database to record and track donor interactions.
To manage income processing for one-off donations, cash and cheques.
To work with the Database Manager to tidy donor records and maintain accurate records.

The prospect research manager will be responsible for defining, articulating, implementing and delivering the prospect research strategy. They will line manage two part-time prospect research officers and a part-time prospect research assistant and will ensure the charity builds its prospect pipeline to drive income growth in support of the charity’s strategic priorities. Working collaboratively with the wider team to provide due diligence, the manager will be responsible for fundraising systems and will lead on the charity’s best practice and compliance with fundraising data regulation.

The selected candidate will have significant experience of managing a prospect research function and will have a thorough detailed knowledge of the voluntary sector. You will have excellent research skills in major gifts fundraising with demonstrable experience in identifying and researching prospects at the six and seven figure levels. You will have the ability to interpret financial data and translate that data into actionable insights.

Key tasks

Communications (60% of time)

• Deliver engaging communications across social media, media outlets, newsletters, and publications by leading on ECHO’s Communications Plan and content creation.

• Strengthen supporter relationships by coordinating the timely sending of T-shirts, certificates, thank-you letters, and other engagement materials.
• Enhance team efficiency by drafting meeting agendas, circulating papers, taking accurate minutes, and keeping the office environment well-organised and well-stocked.
• Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO by managing day-to-day tasks with sensitivity, discretion, and attention to detail.
