Raising million of pounds annually since its launch, this product is one of the most successful products in this charity's portfolio. In this role Senior Fundraiser will be responsible for:
- Coordinating the involvement of the fifty-plus stakeholders across the organisation who come together every year to deliver this campaign
- Monitoring the organisation's performance against income targets and KPIs (key performance indicators) whilst the campaign is live.
- Ensuring that all our supporters have the best possible experience whilst engaging with this product.
- Line managing a juinor fundraiser

The Role

The Candidate
A natural relationship based fundraiser able to build strong working relationships with inteternal and external stakeholders.
Strong experience of working in statutory and/or trusts fundraising, including successfully applying for grants in excess of £50,000+
Substantial experience interpreting and translating material into compelling content for successful proposals.
Demonstrable strong project and account management abilities.
Confident in the development of budgets to meet proposal requirements.
Strong problem solving ability and confidence to bring in new ideas and drive them forward
Experience of writing and communicating for different mediums and channels and applying writing and branding requirements to reports and documents.

You will demonstrate exceptional relationship and communication skills, including:
- A track record in securing income from major donors and philanthropists including knowledge of membership / legacy fundraising.
- Familiarity with major donor engagement and reporting standards for significant donations.
- Strong understanding of fundraising best practices.
- The ability to work with a board of trustees to develop a portfolio.
- Emotional intelligence and outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Highly organised, able to work with a diverse pipeline of both warm and cold prospects.

The charity is entirely committed to the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ communities and promote diversity and inclusion for all.
About the Role
The Charity are looking for a dynamic individual who is able to focus on external impact to really maximise impact with a real focus on engagement, fundraising and communications.
As Director, you will bring together these three existing areas of work under a new directorate as well as managing an established, innovative team.
Engagement
*You will build relationships with key stakeholders with a real focus on building up a Corporate partnerships pipeline.
*You will raise the profile of the Charity both nationally and locally.
Fundraising
*You will implement and deliver the existing fundraising strategy with a view of growing unrestricted income
*You will ensure that supporters are given outstanding stewardship
*You will work with Corporate companies and Major Donors to grow the portfolio of donors significantly
Communications
*You will review and grown the existing communications strategy
*You will monitor the impact of communications to ensure that there is a positive return on investment
About you
To be successful in this role you must have demonstrable experience of working in a senior role in a charity with Fundraising and Communications experience. You must be able to demonstrate that you have worked across income streams as well as displaying line management experience. You will have had experience in raising brand profile and display commitment to equality of opportunity and an understanding of the issues faced by LGBTQ+ communities.
