Senior Marketing Manager for Mighty Hikes
1 year fixed-term contract (secondment cover)

We’re looking for an experienced marketing manager with a passion for project management to oversee the development and delivery of our multi-channel marketing campaign, supported by our media agency.

About the role:

This role is responsible for the development and delivery of our multi-channel media campaign in collaboration with our media agency Zenith, the conception of our creative campaign and management of internal stakeholders to maximise promotional opportunities.

A typical week in this role might involve:

• Overseeing the delivery of project plan tasks across different stakeholders, to make sure everyone is meeting set KPIs and working to deadline
• Managing our relationship with the media agency, monitoring channel performance to make optimisations
• Working with creative agencies to brief and produce assets, using audience insights, that will inspire people to sign up for a Mighty Hike
• Managing expenditure budgets to ensure spend is tracking accurately against different media plans and suppliers
• Using data to report on performance and identify opportunities to drive growth and test new activations
• Leading on meetings with internal and external stakeholders to present the Mighty Hikes and inspire high levels of engagement and support

This role does require weekend work (although not at your desk) as you’ll be out and about cheering on our participants. A full UK driver’s license is preferred and a willingness to drive a van is a bonus. You will be compensated for your weekend work with days in lieu.

About you:

We are looking for an experienced marketing manager with a passion for project management, strong account management skills and a creative eye.

• Marketing skills: experience delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned with a particular focus on digital channels
• Results-focussed: ability to analyse data to report on performance and make decisions for optimisation
• Project management and leadership: experience in leading individuals or teams to deliver a project, setting clear goals and delegating tasks effectively
• Financial skills: proven track-record of hitting financial targets and managing expenditure budgets

We’re seeking an Individual Giving Officer to join our creative and fast-paced Individual Giving team following a promotion within the team! This is an exciting time to join Pancreatic Cancer UK. With an ambitious five-year strategy to double both our income and survival rates, Individual Giving is a key focus in achieving this goal, so you’ll play an important role in acquiring and stewarding donors – helping ensure that everyone with pancreatic cancer can live long and well. We’re passionate about delivering it, but we can’t do it alone. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Supporting the delivery of acquisition and retention campaigns and optimising supporter journeys for our priority audiences across a range of channels, including digital, direct mail and telemarketing. 
• Ensuring we meet our ambitious income targets by supporting on key income streams including regular giving, in memory, cash, gaming and the online shop.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
• Support the team with key administrative processes to ensure effective stewardship of our supporters. 

About You 

• Previous experience in an Individual Giving role or similar fundraising position, with a good working knowledge of fundraising best practice, having supported a range of campaigns. 
• Can work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, managing conflicting deadlines and being proactive in raising risks and concerns.  
• Ability to work cross-team, building effective relationships with internal teams and external suppliers. 
• Strong communication skills when liaising with supporters to provide an audience-first experience.

The main purpose of the Partnerships Manager role is to deliver first-class account management and development of corporate partnerships to drive Breaking Barriers mission.

Working closely with Senior Partnerships Managers, Head of Corporate Partnerships, and members of the Income & Engagement and Services Directorates, you will be responsible for launching, retaining and developing a portfolio of partnerships ensuring we deepen and strengthen relationships whilst identifying opportunities for growth.

You will play your part in delivering and developing strategic relationships to bring value to our refugee clients and our employment and education programmes.

The successful candidate will have experience managing corporate partner relationships, including making fundraising asks and managing external communication with donors and partners at all levels of seniority. You will deploy your influencing skills and ability to build profitable relationships to great effect as you take a leading role identifying and nurturing future strategic partnerships. An understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility would be advantageous.

Championing supporter care across The Charity, you will lead on guaranteeing a high quality experience for our donors and supporters through their journey with us. Purpose of the Role

The Project Consultant will manage the delivery of the Legal Pro Bono Rwanda (LPBR) project in Rwanda, implemented by A4ID and funded by Clifford Chance Foundation. Working closely with the A4ID team in the UK and partner organisations in Rwanda, this role will ensure all project activities are delivered on time and on budget and in line with A4ID’s overarching strategy and specific strategy for Rwanda. You will also support any other ongoing projects in the region and will play an active role in fundraising to support activities and project development for Rwanda and broader A4ID activities. The Consultant will also work closely with A4ID’s regional office in Kenya. You will also be driving fundraising in the region.

Main purpose of the job

• To support a range of activity that helps raise the profile of the Royal Star & Garter group with a focus on Care for Veterans.

Marketing & PR

• Coordinating the development of the Care for Veterans website, bringing content into line with Royal Star & Garter and helping prepare for a longer term integration.

• Effective support for a range of Care for Veterans fundraising events to include digital marketing and attending in person.

The Individual Giving Officer role has come about due to growth and investment in the team. You will report into the Individual Giving Manager and will help achieve the income target of £1.3 million. You will be given the opportunity to work across all channels (f2f, telemarketing, direct mail and digital) and income streams (regular giving, lottery, in memory and legacy giving). Tasks will include, day to day admin for campaigns; running a direct mail appeal (with income between £10-20K); copy and content creation; research; invoice processing and complaint handling; speaking to donors; liaising with external agencies; and working on the stewardship journey.
