PSPA is the only UK charity providing support and information to people living with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD). These rapidly progressing neurological conditions are caused by the premature loss of nerve cells in certain parts of the brain. While there is no cure, and no treatment, we aim to give everyone affected with PSP and CBD the information and support they need to live the best possible life.

Raising awareness among health and social care professionals since 1994, we also fund research into diagnosis and treatments, relying almost entirely on voluntary donations.

We are now looking for a Helpline Manager to join us on a part-time, permanent basis, working 21 hours per week.

How your role contributes

What we need from you

To join us as our Helpline Manager, you will need:

• Experience of operational management in a helpline/call centre environment
• Experience managing a team and supporting their professional development

• Experience of regular service data reporting, analysis and evaluation
• Knowledge of the issues for people living with a neurological condition and their carers
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices

Legacy Manager (Maternity Cover)

Role Summary:

As part of the Major Gifts and Planned Giving team, this role is responsible for managing a caseload of approximately 80 legacy estates, including pecuniary, specific, residuary and life interest estates. The Legacy Manager will also assist the team with legacy enquiries and pledges, supporting donors on their legacy journey, as well as managing PETA’s free will services.

• Ensure that gifts in wills to PETA are handled appropriately, sensitively and efficiently, maximising legacy income to support PETA’s mission to protect animals.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

Augustus Club

• Administer legacies in a professional and approachable manner, to include correspondence with solicitors and other interested parties
• Maintain departmental information, files, and records related to legacy estates
• Act as the point of contact and grow and mature relationships with stakeholders and external groups in order to attain information needed to carry out the role
• Work with various stakeholders on contested legacies, collaborating with other charities where needed
• Be able to communicate to supporters how important and desirable legacies are to PETA
• Respond to enquiries and requests for assistance from Augustus Club members and planned-giving prospects
• Document pertinent information about planned-giving members for the purpose of enhancing and building relationships
• Remain current on estate-planning practices as well as fundraising techniques and methods used in the non-profit sector, attending professional training seminars as needed
• Keep up to date on probate and tax laws, informing the team of any changes

Other

• Maintain a clear understanding of – and the ability to articulate – PETA's objectives as well as details about specific global PETA programmes
• Assist in the training of new major gifts and/or planned giving assistants

As a Challenge Event Co-ordinator you will:

• Manage and support key sporting challenge events such as the London, Dublin, and Berlin Marathons
• Administer and monitor fundraising platforms including Let’s Do This, RealBuzz, Run For Charity, and Discover Adventure
• Provide on the day event support, including managing cheer points and assisting supporters and volunteers
• Collaborate with teams across PR, Marketing, Community Fundraising, and Research to deliver seamless event experiences
•  Help grow a national network of Centres of Excellence through your fundraising efforts#
• Manage event consoles and platforms for all Challenge Events, ensuring participants are signed up and places confirmed within a timely manner.

To be successful, you must have experience:

• Experienced in sporting or challenge event fundraising, donor management and stewardship with excellent organisational and time management skills
• A proactive communicator, able to engage sensitively with supporters
• Familiar with fundraising platforms (JustGiving, Enthuse) and CRM/databases
• Positive, can do attitude and comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines

As Head of Development, you will define and execute a bold fundraising strategy aligned with our mission and priorities. You’ll develop and strengthen relationships with major donors, trusts and foundations, climate philanthropists, and institutional funders—particularly in the US and Europe.

You will lead the strategic direction for income generation and play a key role in strengthening our visibility in key philanthropic spaces. This role requires entrepreneurial thinking, the ability to work across continents and cultures, and a hands-on approach to building systems and narratives that resonate with diverse funders.

Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy & Innovation:

• Design and deliver a fundraising strategy that scales ProVeg’s income from major donors, climate (and other relevant) foundations, and institutional funders.
• Identify and pursue new revenue streams aligned with our climate and food system mission.
  Collaborate with leadership to strengthen our theory of change, donor engagement frameworks, and funding cases.

Donor & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Cultivate and steward relationships with high-net-worth individuals, trusts, foundations, corporate contacts and strategic partners.
• Represent ProVeg in donor meetings and high-level external events.
• Support the Senior Leadership Team and President in managing key donor relationships.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead and grow the international fundraising function to increase income, capacity, and global reach.
• Drive team culture and performance, fostering professional development and a focus on measurable outcomes.

Cross-Organisational Collaboration:

• Collaborate with Communications, Programme, Finance, MEL, and Country teams to strengthen our fundraising infrastructure, materials, and processes.
• Ensure effective fundraising data management and internal reporting systems.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 5 years of senior-level fundraising experience, ideally with major donors and foundations in the US and/or Europe.
• Proven track record of securing six-figure + gifts, including new donor acquisition and multi-year commitments.
• Deep understanding of the climate philanthropy and/or food system transformation space.
• Experience working in international NGOs or with cross-country fundraising collaboration.
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills across sectors and cultures.
• Strong writing and proposal development skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable building systems, not just managing them.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (minimum C2-level English).
• Strong analytical skills and experience measuring the success of fundraising activities.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with effective altruism and impact-led giving.
• Comfortable engaging in discussions around equity, justice, and sustainability in fundraising contexts.

Labour Behind the Label is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Individual Giving Fundraiser to plan, deliver, monitor and evaluate an ambitious and effective individual giving programme for individual donations, cash appeals and regular giving. You will be responsible for the coordination of these areas of fundraising across multiple channels, as well as the administration and stewardship required to ensure engaging supporter journeys.

The successful candidate is likely to bring a strong understanding of how we can recruit and retain supporters as well the latest digital trends and demonstrate creative and technical skills to deliver a digital fundraising strategy. You will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of boosting individual giving for small organisations, write compelling communications and have a particular flair for digital fundraising. You will collaborate with the team to optimise lifetime value from potential and current supporters. You will feel comfortable handling data sets and feel confident knowing how to make the most of data. You will be results driven and enjoy analysing your fundraising campaigns to ensure maximum success for the next.

Labour Behind the Label (LBL) supports garment workers' efforts worldwide to improve their working conditions, wages, and ensure their basic rights are respected. We do this through lobbying retailers, brands and political leaders; raising public awareness; promoting campaign action; and exploring legal possibilities for improving conditions.

Key areas                               

Fundraising

• Develop and implement LBL’s individual giving fundraising strategy (including one off, cash appeals and regular giving)
• Be responsible for driving up overall regular giving numbers
• Identify new ways to ask for funds; plan, implement and evaluate
• Manage one off appeals including our end of year Big Give appeal
• Manage LBL’s Challenge Events including the Six Items Challenge, Bath Half Marathon London Marathon and Brighton Marathon  
• Be the first point of contact for supporters – send out materials if required and build relationships
• Create Meta ads where appropriate
• Oversee our grant fundraising pipeline by identifying new grant opportunities, tracking application deadlines, and coordinating with team members to ensure timely and strategic submission of high-quality grant proposals.       

Communications

• Continue a regular giving strategy to generate growth in income and acquisition/retention numbers
• Continue to develop and implement a robust supporter journey
• Create social media assets for fundraising using Canva
• Social media use and update the website (including fundraising pages/posts and donation forms)

Database Management

• Manage the organisation’s database: Beacon
• Take a lead on ensuring data is properly processed, clean and useful for the team
• Manage data entry and updates on our CRM database to maintain up to date records on supporter contact information, attributes, relationships and donations

Other tasks

• Participate in team meetings
• Organisational management tasks as appropriate
• Represent LBL at meetings and events

Lady Margaret Hall is seeking a Development Assistant to support all operational activities, including events, fundraising, volunteer liaison and alumni relations.
