We are proud to be working exclusivlety with Haven House Children's Hospice to recruit a Community and Events Fundraising Manager, the role with focus on supporting the delivery and development of the hospice’s community fundraising programme, maintaining strong relationships with supporters, and helping to grow income from local communities.
This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in Woodgreen Green, Greater London.

The Role:
Develop and maintain relationships with community groups, schools, clubs, and local businesses.
Identify opportunities to grow income through community partnerships and supporter led fundraising.
Represent the hospice at community events, fundraising activities, and local meetings
Provide excellent stewardship to community supporters, fundraisers, and volunteers.
Offer guidance, resources, and encouragement to individuals and groups organising fundraising activities.
The Candidate:
Experience in community fundraising or a relationship based income generation role
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Confident in public speaking and able to present to an audience
Full UK Driving license and access to a vehicle

Purpose of the job
As Major Donor Manager, you will support the delivery of UK Youth's major donor programme, cultivating high-value, long-term relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) individuals in support of UK Youth's mission and vision. You will build and manage a pipeline of major donors and prospects, working towards income targets that grow year on year, and play a critical role in securing unrestricted funding, programme funding and transformational capital investment.
This role requires a strategic, relationship-led approach and a deep understanding of major gift fundraising. You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure credibility, effective stewardship and meaningful donor engagement. The Major Donor programme prioritises depth of relationship and long-term value over short-term income targets, and you will be instrumental in embedding this culture across the organisation.
The role sits within the strongly performing and highly motivated Fundraising department, including events, corporate, trust and foundation fundraising.

Experience we're after
Proven experience in major donor fundraising, with a track record of cultivating and securing five or six figure gifts from HNW individuals.
Experience of building and managing a major donor pipeline from prospect identification through to solicitation and stewardship.
Experience of senior stakeholder management, including working with CEOs, trustees and senior volunteers.
Experience of managing a diverse workload with multiple deadlines, stakeholders and deliverables.
Experience of thinking strategically and developing compelling fundraising propositions aligned to organisational priorities.
Experience of delivering cultivation and stewardship events for major donors.

As the Impact and Fundraising Manager, you will work hands on with our delivery team to design data collection systems that feel manageable and purposeful, not burdensome. You understand that different people think, process, and work in different ways, so you will create multiple methods for collecting the same data to suit different styles.
You take a methodical approach to understanding what data we need to showcase impact, then build the frameworks and provide the practical support to make collection happen across multiple methods. You empower the team to grow their confidence in impact measurement through training, clear guidance, and being there alongside them.
You will translate the data we collect into compelling, heartfelt stories that position The Mason Foundation as best practice. You will engage with traditional media and sector publications to showcase our work and support the COO with fundraising by providing the impact evidence that inspires funders and commissioners to collaborate with us.
What We're Looking For
• Methodical approach to collecting data across multiple different methods, understanding what needs to be collected to showcase impact without being burdensome
• Hands on experience supporting frontline teams with data and impact collection, building their confidence and skills
• Ability to design multiple ways of collecting a uniform dataset, recognizing different thinking, processing, and working styles
• Strong storyteller who can make data heartfelt and human whilst maintaining evidence-based rigour
• Experience with traditional media engagement (press releases, media relations) and writing for sector publications
• Understanding of neuroinclusion, community development, or social impact landscapes
• Experience working with CRM systems and ability to lead exploration of accessible data tools
• Empathetic, supportive, highly organised, and self-motivated with ability to work part time hours efficiently in a remote environment
