As a Community Fundraiser you will:

• Generate and grow income through inspiring community fundraising activities.
• Engage, recruit, and support individual fundraisers, challenge event participants, fundraising groups, and Charity of the Year partners.
• Build and sustain a strong supporter base through excellent stewardship.

To be successful, you must have experience:

This is an exciting time for First Give, as we have recently launched our three-year strategy and our ambition to activate the generosity of a million young people by 2034. Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic and relationship-driven Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to lead on growing and stewarding First Give’s portfolio of high-value funders. This role will focus on securing income from High Net Worth Individuals and developing corporate partnerships – from first engagement to account management and delivery.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping First Give’s income growth, working closely with our Deputy Director. This role will also support key engagement activities, including hosting donors at student-led Final events and facilitating employee volunteering at schools.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident fundraiser and communicator with experience managing and deepening relationships with both individuals and corporates – someone who thrives on strategy, storytelling, and social impact.

Corporate Partnerships

• Work with the Deputy Director and members of the Campaign Board to develop a proactive pipeline of corporate partners, focusing on strategic alignment, mutual benefit and long-term value
• Lead on developing tailored pitches, proposal decks and partner materials
• Support the delivery of corporate partnerships, including recognition, benefits, volunteering engagement and impact reporting

Donor Engagement and Stewardship

• Work with the Deputy Director and Campaign Board to identify and cultivate new HNWI prospects
• Collaborate with members of First Give’s Fundraising Campaign Board to generate and support with requests for funding to HNWI and Corporates
• Develop and implement a HNWI outreach strategy, including managing a cultivation pipeline and tracking engagement milestones
• Coordinate and deliver engaging stewardship activities and materials, including tailored updates, reports, and thank-you communications

This role can be full time, or 4dpw, working hybrid based, mostly remote, with 1 day per month in the London office.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, and part of a small but ambitious fundraising team, you will lead our relationships with many of AfriKids existing
and prospective major donors, as well as have oversight of our small individual giving and community & events programmes.
Your role will focus on building existing relationships, developing stewardship plans, identifying and researching prospects and forming proposals and appeals.

With demand for our services growing, we are seeking a Trusts and Foundations Manager to help power our mission through strategic, long-term funding partnerships. This is a pivotal role in our high-performing Fundraising Team, focused on securing and growing income from charitable trusts, foundations, statutory sources and the National Lottery. Sands exists to save babies’ lives and ensure that anyone affected by pregnancy loss or baby death receives the support and care they need.

This is an exciting role that will rely on a strong combination of excellent organisational and account management skills to support the Partnerships Team’s ambitious fundraising strategy.

You will support the development and management of relationships with external partners, helping to enhance the team’s outreach, funding opportunities, and collaborative projects. This role involves administrative support, stakeholder communication, and event and volunteer coordination to ensure effective partnership engagement and experience.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to further develop your skills and understanding of corporate fundraising by supporting the Partnerships Team to develop and launch an exciting portfolio of corporate products and events, paying close attention to the evolving needs of partners in an ever-increasing digital environment. 

You will be involved with flagship events and campaigns such as the globally-recognised Baby Loss Awareness Week, our award-winning Sands United Football Club, Big Give appeals and sector-leading collaborations.

You will also draw upon your expertise and creativity by working on creatives and concepts with the team to increase engagement and further develop communication channels appropriate to a diverse corporate audience.

With experience of managing a corporate partnerships portfolio of at least £75,000, you will have managed corporate fundraisers including Charity of the Year Partnerships, cause-related marketing partnerships and sponsors.

We are looking for someone who has an eye for detail, is able to manage their time effectively and ensure the highest supporter experience. You will need to have strong IT skills including the use of a fundraising database.

This role will also provide support to colleagues within the Income & Engagement Department to optimise income and awareness raising activities.

The Salvation Army – Supporter Acquisition Manager x 2

Location: Hybrid working, 2 days in office, London SE5.

The Salvation Army, the UK’s leading social welfare charity, is seeking two Supporter Acquisition Managers to project manage and lead on day-to-day delivery of supporter acquisition appeals.

The Salvation Army is one of the largest, most diverse providers of social and community services after the Government. With more than 600 local centres and nearly 100 residential centres, they make a powerful difference to people across the UK who might otherwise be excluded.

Along with the Assistant Head of Individual Giving, the Supporter Acquisition Managers are  responsible for growing the organisation’s file of donors and hitting an annual Individual Giving team fundraising target of £50 million in unrestricted income. As a direct marketing subject matter expert, they will lead cold recruitment campaigns and support in identifying and delivering new products or acquisition streams. The roles will lead on planning and project managing delivery of a variety of media channels, both online and offline. Each manager will hold strategic areas of focus, be responsible for seven figure expenditure budgets and line manage a Supporter Acquisition Officer or Executive.

The successful candidates will have significant direct marketing expertise with a strong background in project managing multiple campaigns across a range of channels, ideally in a fundraising role, and with proven success at recruiting new donors.  You will have a passion for fundraising with a commercial understanding of the charity marketplace and competitors. As well as previous experience in identifying areas of innovation and devising testing plans to launch and roll out, you will also have a track record in successfully leveraging value from data collated on supporter databases, to maximise targeting and data segmentation.

Excellent numeracy and strong analytical skills will be combined with excellent written communication abilities and a good attention to detail and ability to prioritise work. Finally, you will have the ability and willingness to work within, and be empathic with, the Christian ethos and values of The Salvation Army Mission.
