KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Personal Development Activities 

• Manage, implement, and evaluate partner-funded programmes and workshops to enhance participants’ social-emotional skills, resilience, and employability.

• Oversee the collection, cleaning, and analysis of programme data to ensure robust, GDPR-compliant records of participation, outcomes, and impact.

The Role 

The Head of Marketing and Communications will shape and lead a new marketing and comms strategy in line with our Phab Strategy 2025 to 2030 – raising awareness of our work, growing our supporter base, championing inclusive practice, and ensuring that our messaging reflects and amplifies disabled voices. 

You will work closely with teams across the charity, especially fundraising, Adventures, and ACTS, to develop content and that help us connect with new audiences, demonstrate impact, and position Phab as a leader in disability inclusion. 

Key Responsibilities 

Strategy and Leadership 

• Develop and implement a marketing and communications strategy aligned with Phab’s mission and strategic objectives 

• Line manage and support the Social Media & Club Support Executive, and oversee the work of external freelancers/agencies where required

• Lead brand development and ensure consistency and accessibility across all channels and materials 

• Support the planning and delivery of Phab’s 70th Anniversary celebrations, with strong storytelling and visibility

Today, we provide expert specialist palliative and end of life care to over 2,500 patients each year from our state-of-the-art inpatient unit and in the community across seven central & south London boroughs.

The Purpose of the Role
The External Relations (ER) department includes private fundraising, marketing & communications and advocacy. ER’s goal is to mobilize external audiences to raise funding to meet core organization needs deliver programs that support our clients to recover and gain control of their lives; influence policy changes to improve outcomes for our clients; and build and grow our global brand.  

The Strategy & Planning (S&P) team is responsible for supporting ER to advance our ambitious global strategy, driving impact and strategic change. The S&P team works with leadership to (1) define ER’s strategic goals and associated plans, (2) monitor progress towards them, and (3) lead strategic projects that address barriers or pursue opportunities to advance our ER strategy. Overall purpose

We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual to join our team to help us deliver partnership management to our corporate partners. The main purpose of the Partnerships Officer role is to support the Partnership Management team on the delivery of first-class account management to our portfolio of corporate partners. This diverse role is perfect for someone looking to make a difference and gain experience working within a corporate partnerships team. The successful candidate will provide crucial administrative, internal/external comms and wider support to the partnership management team. You will work closely with the Breaking Barriers delivery teams to help ensure our shared value partnerships have the maximum impact for our refugee clients.

• Supporting the Partnerships Managers and wider Partnerships team to help deliver bespoke partner activities across our portfolio of 50+ partners.
