What to expect

This cross High Value Partnerships team brings together the existing functions Prospect Development and High Value Events alongside the brand-new Information and Assets function. You will be responsible for overseeing these functions and developing the cross-team strategy. There are two excellent senior managers to lean on delivering Prospect Development and HV Events, so it is expected the main focus for the first 6-12 months will be driving the development of Information and Assets.

You will be required to translate organisational priorities into compelling cases for support and donor communications, create and manage funding priorities and funding gaps, improve access to case studies and other storytelling tools, partner with HVP teams to understand their requirement and their prospects and donor’s needs. Your work will be key to creating an inspiring donor experience that clearly demonstrates impact and encourages continued support.

You will champion new ways of working and best practice in high value fundraising operations, working to develop streamlined processes and systems to empower fundraisers with the tools they need to work their portfolios efficiently through the donor journey.

We’re looking for a Trusts Officer to join our dynamic Fundraising Team to contribute towards securing vital income from charitable trusts and foundations across the UK.

The Role

The Candidate

About Us

The Bike Project is an award-winning charity which refurbishes second hand bikes and donates them to refugees.  We were founded in 2013 by, Jem Stein, after he struck up a friendship and found a bike for Adam, a Darfuri refugee who had fled his home in Sudan after war broke out.

The Bike Project has grown into a national operation with new CEO, hundreds of volunteers, a team of 20 committed staff, roadshows in different cities, an online shop and two workshops, one in the capital and one in Birmingham.

To date we have supported over 15,000 refugees and people seeking asylum by giving them a second-hand bike. In addition, we have supported hundreds through our programmes designed to build confidence and build friendships in the local community.

Duites and Responsibilities 

This role will provide maternity cover for an initial period of 12 months, with the potential for a 1–2 month extension. It will focus on developing new corporate partnerships and managing relationships with our existing corporate supporters.The role holder will work closely with the Chief Executive and Head of Fundraising, Marketing and Retail to ensure a strategic approach to the development and management of relationships with our corporate partners, enabling us to maximise the potential from them.

As well as leading income generation, the post will develop current and new corporate partnerships, providing personalised stewarding journeys.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of securing income directly from corporates for charity, both winning and securing new partnerships as well as maintaining and developing existing supporters. You will collaborate across departments internally to build awareness and ensure effective delivery of the Partnership objectives and targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the aims and objectives of partnerships through preparing, managing and delivering activity plans and income budgets in support of the Partnership plan
• Responsible for the implementation of national, regional and local corporate partnership initiatives
• Develop and deliver innovative approaches to achieving fundraising targets and new opportunities for employee engagement
• Lead on designated partnerships, projects and events contributing to the Partnership plan
• Implement and maintain excellent communications procedures with colleagues and key stakeholders across all areas of the Charity to coordinate delivery and raise awareness of partnership objectives and targets
• Administer appropriate income/expenditure procedures, produce monthly reports and maintain accurate records of fundraising and other activity to enable evaluation and analysis
• Represent and/or deputise for the Senior Corporate Relationship Manager as required
• Proactively support Corporate Partnerships and colleagues in the ongoing development of activities and initiatives that will contribute the corporate team objectives. Including Support of Relationship Executives in their day to day job, providing direction, sharing experiences and providing advice and assistance as required.
• Assist and advise others in the successful production of fundraising, communications and promotional materials for corporate partners

Person Specification:

• Experience of working in a demanding and profit driven corporate/business, fundraising, sales or marketing environment.
• Managing profitable client/donor relationships within large and complex organisations/companies
• A proven track record in implementing and managing account plans and delivering financial targets.
• Experience of managing corporate relationships or equivalent.
• Present oral/written communication professionally and persuasively.
• Appreciation of equalities and diversity and how it affects this position, the organisation and supporters.
• Understanding the corporate sector and raising funds and awareness from partnerships

Community Action Redbridge is looking for a Project Manager to lead our Connected Communities Project, a successful social prescribing initiative that helps people build resilience, reduce loneliness, and connect with the support they need to improve their wellbeing. 

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the day-to-day delivery and ongoing development of the project, guiding and supporting a small, dedicated team. Working in close partnership with voluntary and community organisations, the NHS, and other local agencies, you’ll help strengthen Redbridge’s community support infrastructure. You’ll champion person-led, strengths-based approaches, ensuring our work remains inclusive, responsive, and firmly grounded in what truly matters to the people we support. 

We’re looking for someone who is organised, compassionate, and skilled in partnership working; confident in leading teams and managing projects; adept at maintaining and developing project systems and processes and committed to tackling inequalities and promoting wellbeing across diverse communities. 

Prior experience in social prescribing, project coordination, or health and wellbeing initiatives will be especially valued. 

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with a requirement to work three days per week in our Gants Hill office.

We are seeking a passionate London Director of Development to build and develop meaningful relationships, initially with London-based high-net-worth individuals, securing significant funding to grow Young Life International's impact on young people in London and beyond. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in expanding a mission-driven charity's capacity to transform young lives.

In this influential brand new role, you'll develop an active portfolio of major donors and potential major donors, working towards establishing new funding each fiscal year including annual and multi-year commitments. You'll cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals and major trusts, represent Young Life in high-level meetings and networking events, and plan impactful vision events to inspire and engage supporters. Working collaboratively with senior management and fundraising colleagues, you'll connect donor interests with different aspects of Young Life's mission, inviting supporters to experience first-hand the life-changing work being done. You'll also lead on securing grants from key UK trusts and oversee an effective stewardship process to retain and grow donor support.

With the potential for wider influence across the UK and Europe, you'll lead by example in donor stewardship, train the wider team, and play a key role in expanding Young Life International's philanthropy efforts.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:

• Proven ability to build strong relationships with major donors and secure funding in the range of £10,000+
