Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser 

We are seeking a motivated Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser to secure vital income and build strong partnerships with funders across the UK.

Salary: £30,000 per annum (pro rata for part time hours)
Location: Remote, UK wide
Hours: 30 – 37.5 hours per week (permanent)
 

About the role

As Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser, you will play a key role in generating income to support our mission of sharing the joy of live music in care settings. You will manage a portfolio of small and medium value trusts and foundations, writing compelling funding proposals and delivering excellent stewardship to strengthen long-term relationships.

Overview of the Job:

• Preparing tailored applications to trusts and foundations in line with organisational strategy and values.

About you

You will be an enthusiastic fundraiser with excellent written communication skills and an eye for detail. Essential skills and experience:

• Proven experience of generating income through trusts, foundations, grants or sponsorship proposals.

• IT proficiency, including MS Office.

Desirable:

• Experience using CRM databases.

The role

The philanthropy manager will report to the senior philanthropy manager.

We are seeking a creative and driven philanthropy manager to join our team on a permanent basis. Working alongside members of the wider team, you will help deliver the best possible experience to some of the charity’s most committed donors through a mixture of bespoke events, personalised communications, and recognition opportunities across our hospital sites.

Specifically, this role will lead the team’s efforts in securing four and five-figure gifts and stewarding donors with a gold-standard experience that ensures continued support for the Royal Free Charity.

You will play an important role within our philanthropy & capital campaign team, helping to build relationships, and increase income, in a pivotal year for the charity. The team

Our dynamic fundraising department generated £4.5m through donations in 2023/24, and we are now preparing for an ambitious multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital.

Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises two teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:

· Our philanthropy & campaigns team builds relationships with individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations, corporate organisations and intermediaries, giving or facilitating donations of £10,000 or more to the charity each year. They lead major appeal activity for the charity, currently focused on our forthcoming cancer campaign, and special events to support these activities.

· Our public fundraising team harnesses the support and energy of individuals and groups, helping them to give back in the way that works for them. This includes committed giving, in memory support, gifts in wills, and fundraising events and challenges.

· Our database and supporter care colleagues underpin and support the entire department.

About the role

About Us ​

​Greenhouse Sports is on a mission to change the lives of young people in poverty through the power of sport and mentoring. Too many young people are being left behind. It is not because they lack potential, but because poverty stacks the odds again them. This affects their education, mental health, and their future.

​In 2025 we launched our new strategy ‘For Every Future’ which outlined the charity’s bold mission and our ambitious plans to achieve this. To reach every child who needs us the most, we are raising the bar as a fundraising team. We currently generate £4m annually from major donors, trusts, institutions and corporates, plus an impressive array of special events raises an addition £1m per year.

​The Role

​Corporate partnerships provide a vital source of income at Greenhouse Sports. The priority for the Corporate Partnerships Team is to further grow income, with an ambitious target of £1.1 million in 2025/26 - a 30% increase on the previous year.

​The Corporate Development Manager will play a critical role in realising this new income, whilst diversifying the pipeline and strengthening existing relationships through superior cultivation and stewardship.

The Person

​The Corporate Development Manager will play a vital role in the continued growth and development of corporate income, with the majority of their time dedicated to sourcing new business.

​The key responsibilities of the role include:​

• Identifying and qualifying new partnership leads that demonstrate clear value alignment with Greenhouse Sports, building a substantial pipeline that you will own and drive forward.
• Planning, developing and delivering cultivation journeys for strong leads to secure five- and six- figure corporate partnerships.
• Leading on meetings with new business prospects.
• Designing and creating partnership proposals, presentations and/ or pitches for potential new partners.
• Leading on the renewal of existing five- and six- figure partnerships, developing clear stewardship plans that strengthen relationships and maximise opportunities for growth.
• Working collaboratively with internal teams across the organisation.
• Excelling at use of our CRM (Beacon) and ensuring it’s kept up-to-date.

Job Purpose

The Communications and Content Officer supports the delivery of engaging and effective communications across Operation Smile UK’s channels. The postholder will create and coordinate content that raises awareness, supports fundraising, and strengthens the organisation’s profile in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Content creation and content management

• Working with the Senior Communications Manager, research, draft, and edit compelling content for the UK website, newsletters, and print materials.
• Support the reimagining of existing content to ensure messaging is fresh, relevant, and audience-led.
• Collate and maintain a library of case studies, stories, and assets for use across teams.
• Ensure brand voice and tone are consistently applied across all communications.

Digital and organic social media

• Develop and maintain a social media content calendar which supports our Communications Strategy and liaise with our Social Media Freelancer to plan and approve posts.
• Contribute to the delivery of multi-channel campaigns, liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers to create assets and meet deadlines.
• Assist with monitoring and reporting on content performance, identifying opportunities for growth and engagement.

Campaign coordination

• Support the planning and scheduling of communications campaigns like World Smile Day and advertising events like our annual carols concert.
• Manage feedback processes to ensure the timely delivery of content and materials.
• Act as the first point of contact for all content requests from across the organisation.

Administration and finance

• Collate quotes for expenditure and liaise with suppliers as required.
• Track invoices, ensuring coding is accurate and amounts match agreed quotes.
• Maintain organised systems for content workflows, approvals, and campaign schedules.

Monitoring and evaluation

• Gather engagement and performance metrics from all channels.
• Provide regular reports to the Senior Communications Manager.
• Suggest improvements to optimise performance and impact.

We are seeking a Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our fundraising team.The Trusts and Foundations Manager will join a successful, yet ambitious team focused on building new stewardship and cultivation products to engage trusts and grow our supporter base. Working closely with colleagues from the other teams, the Trusts and Foundations Manager will identify new funding opportunities and steward existing partnerships.

The right candidate will be a self-starter, with excellent written and verbal communications skills, who is highly motivated and passionate about ending world hunger. Screen Share is the UK’s leading refugee digital inclusion charity. We invest in the digital capability of refugees and people seeking asylum by providing the tools, training and opportunities they need to thrive in education, work and community life. Our vision is a future where every refugee in the UK has the digital tools and support to flourish in a connected world.

Over the past four years, we have supported more than 3,000 refugees with devices, connectivity, and training. Our 2026–2030 strategy commits us to scaling our impact to reach 5,000 refugees across the UK every year, embedding refugee leadership, and ensuring Screen Share is an effective and sustainable full-service digital inclusion service for refugees for as long as needed. 

This role is funded for 1 year with the high likelihood that funding will continue beyond the grant period. We are also awaiting a response for 2 significant funding applications which will expand the programme. 

Personal Profile

This is a leadership role at a pivotal moment in Screen Share’s journey. The role is funded to deliver our current Digital Skills programme, with a strong focus on quality, impact and evaluation. At the same time, we are awaiting the outcome of several significant funding applications. If successful, these will enable us to expand the programme quickly, positioning the postholder as the Head of a national digital skills programme with a larger team and greater leadership remit.

You will be a dynamic and strategic leader, passionate about digital inclusion and refugees. You bring structured programme management (clear processes, monitoring & evaluation, budget oversight) combined with empathy, cultural sensitivity and the ability to motivate others. You will be excited 

You will thrive in a fast-moving and growing charity where flexibility and initiative are vital. You will embed refugee leadership at the heart of our work, co-designing with lived experience. You will also represent Screen Share externally, building partnerships with corporates, councils and charities, raising the profile of refugee digital inclusion nationally.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Leadership & Delivery

• Lead the design and strategic direction of our Digital Skills programme, Ensure the service we are providing is high-quality, impactful, trauma-informed and aligned with Screen Share’s 2026–2030 strategy.

• Oversee the onboarding and support of hundreds of refugees looking to develop digitally, including supporting with the development of their Independent Learning Plan’s and journeys through Digital Champions 

• Recruite, coordinate and support our digital champions and staff to provide high-quality online and in-person classes, 1:1 support and effective sign-posting

• Maintain oversight of multiple Screen Share digital skills projects delivered over multiple locations. 

• Trial innovative digital inclusion tools and approaches.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Impact

• Design and oversee comprehensive impact measurement and monitoring and evaluation frameworks to ensure the programme is most effective 

• Produce clear, data-centered programme and impact reports (quantitative and qualitative) for existing and prospective funders and partners 

• Embed continuous learning and client reflections into programme design and improvement.
   

People & Volunteers

• Recruit, train and support Digital Champions and volunteers in a trauma-informed way

• Line-manage staff kindly and calmly as the team grows

• Embed refugee leadership and lived experience in programme design, delivery and iteration
   

Partnerships & Fundraising

• Support our Outreach team in building and maintaining strong partnerships with our corporate, charity and government partners 

• Represent Screen Share to external stakeholders including corporates and charity partners with professionalism and credibility.

• Explain and facilitate our Digital Skills employee engagement package for corporates and businesses in a safe and professional manner

• Collect and report detailed programmatic data and case studies for fundraising bids and corporate partnership proposals.
   

Finance, Safeguarding & Compliance

• Hold accountability for the Digital Skills programme budget, reporting regular updates to the CEO 

• Ensure compliance with GDPR, safeguarding and H&S policies.

• Oversee the prompt and accurate reporting of safeguarding incidents to Screen Share’s DSL, and contribute to the development of our safeguarding as an essential element of our work
   

Personal Specification

Essential

• Significant experience in charity programme management, with a strong preference for experience in the digital inclusion, adult education or refugee support sector

• Proven ability to manage teams of staff and volunteers from a diverse range of backgrounds

• Experience working directly with refugees/asylum seekers OR deep expertise in digital inclusion and commitment to learning from refugee experience.

• Strong monitoring, evaluation and reporting skills and experience

• Financial management experience (budgets, reporting).

• Experience supporting fundraising through impact reporting and case studies.

• Experience managing, training and motivating staff and volunteers.

• Excellent relationship-building skills across sectors.

• Strategic thinker with strong organisational and collaborative skills.
