The Role
As Senior Individual Giving Fundraiser you’ll be working alongside passionate and talented fundraising colleagues to achieve the charity’s ambitious plans for income growth. Your duties will include:
- Supporting the delivery of the existing Individual Giving Strategy and increasing acquisition, engagement and income.
- Developing income and expenditure budgets.
- Planning, developing and delivering the charity’s appeals and raffles offering.
- Obtaining compelling Hospice stories from patients and their families, volunteers and staff.
- Managing the stewardship of legacy pledgers and supporting with gifts in wills promotion.
The Person
We are looking for a talented, passionate and innovative individual to propel their income stream forward and achieve great results! To be considered for this role you should have experience working within fundraising or marketing and ideally a track record in planning and delivering campaigns or appeals. You should possess strong written communication skills and be able to write creative and inspiring content. As Senior Individual Giving Fundraiser you should have an exceptional eye for detail, and also be comfortable working towards deadlines and targets.

Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) works to encourage debate, drive collaboration, and build partnerships across academia and industry that increase the probability of transforming discoveries from the lab bench into treatments for people living with dementia. Since funding their first project in 1998, the charity has now committed over £171 million of funding for ground-breaking dementia research.
As part of the ARUK Leadership Team, the Head of Philanthropy plays a pivotal role in leading the charity to accelerate progress towards a cure. Working closely with the senior stakeholders across ARUK, the post-holder will lead the organisation’s philanthropy work by defining and implementing the team’s strategy and ensuring that these plans support the charity’s vision, mission and strategic objectives.
The Head of Philanthropy will lead a team of approximately 8-10 people. The role holder will also personally lead on relationships with a small group of ARUK’s most generous supporters, and prospective supporters, across Philanthropy audiences.
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a philanthropy team to deliver significant income growth, as well as demonstrable knowledge and experience of major gift fundraising. The Philanthropy Manager will grow income from the existing warm donor database in order to develop the mid-level and high net worth individuals programmes. You will use your experience to identify, attract and cultivate new donors and will work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications to implement donor segmentation, build on supporter stewardship and appeal strategies for major donors. You will also ideally have experience of attending fundraising events; RMBF have a healthy portfolio of stewardship and cultivation events each year to support fundraising asks.
The selected candidate will have the ability to identify potential donors, prioritising workload and developing effective fundraising strategies. You will have excellent written skills with an ability to craft compelling and personalised proposals and will have a track record of delivering income against targets, ideally within a fundraising environment.

We are looking for a Legacy and In Memory Lead for an incredible hospice, to be responsible for managing the implementation of the legacy (gifts in Wills) and in memory strategies and developing annual delivery plans.
This is a Hybrid role with 4 days a week in the Essex office.

The Role
Lead the delivery of planned activities and promotion of legacy and in memory fundraising products to achieve budget net income and grow the active support base.
Project manage all elements required to deliver planned activities.
Work closely with the Marketing team to develop on and offline marketing materials for legacy and in memory fundraising activities.
Support with line management of the Supporter Care Assistant where necessary.
The Candidate
Significant demonstrable and relevant experience of in memory and/or legacy fundraising.
Experience of developing and promoting in memory and/or legacy fundraising products.
Experience of using a variety of on- and offline channels to deliver successful marketing campaigns to acquire and develop donors / customers.
Experience of managing income and expenditure budgets.

Prospectus is excited to be partnering with Thomas’s Foundation as they recruit for a Senior Development and Communications Manager. Thomas’s Foundation, a charitable incorporated organisation established in 2018, is the charitable arm of Thomas’s London Day Schools. Thomas’s Foundation is driven by the belief that every child deserves an enriching education.
This role is offered on a permanent full-time basis paying circa £50,000 per annum to work in a hybrid model from their offices in Fulham.
As the lead fundraiser for the Foundation, the Senior Development and Communications Manager will have the opportunity to shape and deliver a new fundraising strategy, underpinned by compelling and engaging communications. Thomas’s Foundation has a strong pipeline of prospects thanks to its relationships with the Thomas’s London Day Schools and this role will be vital in helping realise that potential through sophisticated engagement activity, systematic cultivation processes and the development of rewarding philanthropic relationships.
They are looking for someone with a demonstrable track record of securing funding from individuals at the five and six figure level. The ideal candidate will have significant experience of donor cultivation, stewardship and solicitation and, in leading multi-faceted income generation activity through regular giving programmes with excellent relationship management skills.
