Fundraising Manager Jobs

We are looking for a Trust Fundraising Manager for an incredible youth charity to be proactive in identifying and developing new and existing relationships with trusts, foundations and statutory bodies in order to generate income.

This is a hybrid role ideally with 1 day a week/fortnight in the London office.

The Charity
A warm and collaborative youth arts charity, dedicated to supporting young people to build confidence to express themselves and develop necessary life skills. You will be joining a team with big ideas, big ambitions and big energy, working with an incredibly talented community of young people that continues to grow year on year.

The Role
Work with the CEO and Operations & Finance Director to identify funding priorities and develop compelling cases for support, primarily for trusts and foundations but potentially broader income streams.

Develop and manage a realistic weighted pipeline of trusts and foundations income, including the development of new multi-year and growth fund opportunities.

Identify, research and approach prospective contacts in order to cultivate relationships and generate new funds.

Prepare interim and final reports to funders in a timely fashion and manage ongoing relationships.

Optional to line manage a team of two trust officers.

The Candidate
A strong track record of submitting high quality fundraising bids and securing multiple five and ideakky six fugure bids.

Good knowledge of Trusts & Foundations funding, timescales and reporting requirements.

Awareness of the General Data Protection Regulations, particularly with reference to charities and fundraising.

A passion for young people and the arts.

The Role:

Hospice UK has an exciting new fundraising strategy with a focus on digital fundraising and supporter journeys. We are looking to significantly increase our engagement with new and existing supporters across all areas of fundraising. The Digital Fundraising and Engagement Executive will be responsible for maximising income, supporter recruitment and retention through digital channels, for both individual giving and events.

Reporting into the Head of Events & Supporter Engagement and working very closely with the External Affairs team you will deliver a cohesive and impactful approach to digital fundraising and supporter journeys. The Digital Fundraising and Engagement Executive will lead on recruitment and stewardship for a number of third-party challenge events as well as supporting on the optimisation of integrated digital campaigns and donor journeys.

We are looking for:

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate a background in digital fundraising (1-2 years’ experience) and an understanding of supporter journeys and social media advertising. Some understanding of SEO would be desirable but you would not need to be an expert in this area.

The Team:

The Events and Supporter Engagement team forms part of the wider Income Generation and Grants Directorate. The team’s focus is on raising funds from individuals through challenge and special events, digital fundraising, giving in memory, legacy giving, regular and payroll giving and one off donations.

The team is made up of 5 people (including this role), who work closely together to help achieve our goals. The wider Income Generation and Grants team consists of 20 people in total. We meet regularly through team meetings and coming together in the office on a Tuesday, which helps to create a supportive working environment.

Community Fundraising Manager

The Role

The Fundraising Officer will coordinate all fundraising activities in line with the Charity’s overall strategy and sustainability plans.  Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, the Fundraising Officer will identify sources of income and build good working relationships with funders to achieve agreed funding targets.

In the role, you’ll be:

1. You’ll be building relationships with a wide range of individuals, community supporters, networks and local groups to fundraise and build awareness of Stonewall Housing’s mission, with a particular focus on Birmingham-based individuals and organisations.
2. Working with the Development Officer and Community and Events Fundraising Specialist on community fundraiser stewardship, where you’ll be providing support to individuals and groups fundraising for Stonewall Housing through their own events or running and challenge activities.
3. Supporting the Development Officer and Community and Events Fundraising Specialist with refining, developing and implementing our annual programme of Stonewall Housing-led events, including cultivation, stewardship and fundraising events.
4. Working with the Development Team to develop Stonewall Housing’s Legacy Giving programme, ‘Over the Rainbow’.
5. Supporting the Training Lead by delivering engaging in-person and virtual training sessions and workshops to other organisations and networks across the public and private sectors. You’ll be empowering teams of all sizes to confidently meet the needs of LGBTQ+ people in their staff team or accessing their services. You will receive comprehensive and bespoke Stonewall Housing training in how to best deliver these sessions. 
6. Supporting the Development Team and the wider organisation by taking part in external panels and speaking engagement opportunities, confidently representing the work of Stonewall Housing.
7. Developing new compelling cases for support both for individual donors and for broader fundraising activities.
8. Using data and evidence to monitor KPIs and track trends, helping the Development Team make informed decisions.
9. Supporting the wider Development Team with the day-to-day running of fundraising, comms, and awareness activity.

Your experience:

· Experience of developing and enacting ambitious strategic plans for a fundraising area (this could be Community Giving, Events, Individual Giving, Corporate Giving, or similar).

· Demonstrable understanding of implementing best practice to fundraising activities.

· A track record of building positive and prosperous relationships with supporters.

· Experience of developing engaging supporter journeys.

Your skills and attributes:

· Confident and enthusiastic public speaker, at both in person or virtual events.

· A creative problem solver with a solutions-focussed outlook.

· Excellent team player who likes to get stuck into new tasks and action groups.

· Organised, efficient and driven.

· Up-to-date knowledge of website donation tools (e.g. JustGiving etc).

· Computer literate in Excel, Word and Outlook.

· Working knowledge of best practice and the compliance and financial issues around fundraising (Gift Aid, GDPR etc).

Great to have, but not essential!

· Experience in delivering training to organisations, networks or community groups.

· Experience in coordinating fundraising events.

· Experience of managing projects remotely, including using tools such as Trello.

· Proficiency in using a fundraising CRM package (we use Donorfy).

As with all members of Stonewall Housing’s Development Team, the postholder will also:

Working closely with the Head of Community and Corporate Partnerships, you will devise a three-year strategy, targeting key areas of growth in community fundraising, challenge events and special events.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Fundraising Manager to join a children related charity in order to manage ambitious team of two.

This will be full time or part-time role based in Staffordshire.

As a Community Fundraising Manager you will:

• be responsible for national community fundraising, digital community fundraising and fundraising events including third party and DIY challenge events programmes.
• guidance the team to develop and deliver multi-channel marketing plans and stewardship journeys, to drive income, collaboration and high levels of engagement around the events and community portfolio to help us achieve a step change in income.
• lead, motivate, support, develop, train and inspire the Community and Events teams,
• Lead the operational management and delivery of Community Fundraising and Fundraising Events, with a focus on refining and developing fundraising and events offering

In order to be successful, you must have experienced :

• Strong experience in the field of Event management, Community Fundraising or Digital Fundraising
•  Experience of strategy development, planning and Implementation
• Experience of utilizing in depth data analysis and segmentation for marketing purposes
• Previous experience and knowledge of CRM systems
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively and passionately
• Ability to develop excellent working relationships with senior management, staff and volunteers
• Driving license and access to a car

Salary: £35,000- £38,000 per annum depending on experience

Contract type: permanent, full time or part time

Location: Cannock, Staffordshire, hybrid working 3 days in the office

The main responsibilities of this role include:

· Respond to supporter queries and feedback across telephone, email, letter or via Orbis UK’s paid social advertising channels. Ensure supporters receive a great experience and feel happy to continue supporting Orbis in future.

· Oversee and deliver thank you communications in response to donations.

· Record and respond to positive and negative feedback when received.

· Update processes on an ongoing basis to ensure they are as efficient as possible. Provide feedback internally on the effectiveness of supporter journeys.

• Assist with the administration of the Raiser’s Edge (RE) database and provide assistance to the Database team when needed.
• Assist the Supporter Engagement Manager in the planning, creation and evaluation of fundraising and communications campaigns where required.

The Community Fundraising Officer will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community groups, schools and other organisations fundraising for Haven House Children’s Hospice. The Community Fundraising Officer will support groups, schools and organisations doing their own events and fundraising activities, work toward agreed income targets, and assist the two Managers in the team with planning and delivering key Haven House events and programmes.

This role will report to the Community & Events Manager and will be responsible for maximising income from across our community through providing an exceptional level of supporter care. The Community Fundraising Officer will work closely with our Database Manager to ensure accurate recording and reporting of income and supporter information.  This role will also manage a brilliant team of volunteer Community Champions who attend local events and speaking engagements on behalf of Haven House.

We are looking for someone to work on a variety of projects who is able to build strong relationships in our community and to take responsibility for the wide variety of relationships across our community.
