The Fundraising Manager will join the organisation at a pivotal stage, leading the development and delivery of a strategic, place-based fundraising programme linked to the centre in Bridgwater and across the wider South West.
Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and colleagues across the organisation, you will lead the growth of regional income through corporate partnerships, business development, major donors, legacy giving and third-party fundraising. Alongside managing the Community Fundraising Lead and supporting strong community fundraising delivery, the role will focus on building high-value partnerships and developing long-term relationships with businesses, supporters and stakeholders across the region.

About You

With strong written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing and presentations, you will have strong financial literacy including budget management and ROI analysis.

The Fundraising Manager will collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement BAWA’s fundraising and communications strategy, particularly acquiring donors and expanding BAWA’s reach globally. The Fundraising Manager will manage most of BAWA’s fundraising channels including grants and mass emails, and will cultivate relationships with donors and funding organizations.

Qualifications
• Experience fundraising for animal protection organisation(s) is required
• Excellent writing skills, including writing in diverse styles and for diverse audiences
• Excellent administrative skills including organization and attention to detail
• Experience managing volunteers and/or staff
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks within deadlines
• Demonstrated passion for animal welfare
• Experience fundraising for animal charities is strongly preferred

About the role
We’re excited to be recruiting a Legacy and In Memory Marketing Manager to help grow and deliver WWF-UK’s legacy and in memory fundraising programme. This role will lead the planning and delivery of engaging multi-channel marketing activity that inspires supporters to consider leaving a gift in their will or giving in memory, helping to build long-term support for our mission.
You’ll manage a varied portfolio of campaigns across direct mail, digital, events and web, working closely with colleagues across fundraising, communications and data teams, as well as external agencies. · Lead the development and delivery of a long-term Individual Giving strategy, covering regular giving, donations, legacies and celebration giving.
· Drive donor acquisition, retention, upgrade and reactivation activity.
· Develop and implement robust, donor-centric stewardship pathways to maximise engagement and lifetime value.
· Deliver targeted, multi-channel internal fundraising campaigns across SJP digital platforms.
· Use data-led insights, audience segmentation and testing to optimise performance and ensure continued innovation.
· Monitor and evaluate IG performance, reporting insights and recommendations to the Head of Foundation and Board of Trustees.
· Manage the IG budget to deliver strong ROI and achieve agreed income targets.
· Identify funding gaps and implement corrective actions where required.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
· Build and support major donor relationship development alongside the Head of Foundation.
· Work closely with the Fundraising Manager (Events & Committees) and Foundation Co-ordinator to motivate and grow Regional Foundation Committees.
· Represent the Foundation at corporate, challenge and Foundation events (including occasional out-of-hours attendance).
· Collaborate with colleagues to develop compelling impact stories that inspire giving.
· Influence and engage stakeholders across SJP, often at senior level.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
· Ensure all fundraising activity complies with GDPR, charity law and fundraising best practice.
· Adhere to the Chartered Institute of Fundraising Code.
· Monitor risks associated with IG activities and maintain appropriate controls and risk register updates.
· Contribute to business continuity planning within your area of responsibility

Essential Criteria:
· Extensive experience developing and delivering strategic Individual Giving programmes within a medium to large charity.

· Strong analytical capability, with experience using CRM systems (e.g. Raisers Edge or similar) to segment, analyse and report on fundraising performance.
· Sound knowledge of charity regulation, fundraising compliance and relevant legislation (including GDPR).
· Demonstrable ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Desirable Criteria:
· Experience working within a corporate foundation or corporate-charity environment.
· Experience managing and evaluating fundraising budgets to optimise ROI.
· Experience presenting performance insights to Boards or senior governance groups.
· Knowledge of charity law applicable to corporate foundations.
This role will be expected to be present in the Cirencester office at least 2 days a week where there is free parking for all staff. The role also offers pension contribution of 10% and is eligable for the company annual bonus scheme.

We are looking for a Social Media and Online Fundraising Manager to join a small grassroots health charity to engage the beneficiaries and stakeholders through various online channels.
The Charity
A passionate and collaborative health charity dedicated to prioritising quality of life for those in need and their support networks. You would be joining an incredible organisation with a supportive culture offering flexible home working with quarterly meet ups in London. This is initially an 18 month contract with the potential to go permanent.
The Role
This is a brand new role to support the Chief Executive and Co-founder for a niche health cause with a strong patient support network.
You would create an online fundraising strategy and deliver a practical plan for a series of annual events, focusing on activities, personal challenges or social events.
You would create a communication strategy for social media and a practical annual plan that incorporates the different type of content that will engage new stakeholders and to share engaging content, relevant information, knowledge and research for the different audiences.
There is the opportunity to participate at in-person at events in the UK and abroad, recording live content on social media in an accurate, sensitive and engaging way.
The Candidate
Happy to work in a small close knit charity.
Proven experience of funding raised from online engagement of communities through various events and activities.
Experience in creating engaging content on a range of social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, X, Bluesky and LinkedIn.
