Main Responsibilities:

Campaign Development and Management:

• Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that align with the Charity's objectives and resonate with our target audience.
• Conduct thorough research to understand audience demographics, preferences, and behaviors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify key messages and stories.
• Develop creative concepts, visuals, and messaging.
• Oversee the production of marketing materials.
• Evaluate campaign performance and effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation

Digital Marketing and Content Creation:

• Develop and implement digital marketing strategies across various platforms, including social media, email marketing, website, and digital advertising, to maximise reach and engagement.
• Design and execute email marketing and donor campaigns.
• Optimise website content and user experience.
• Implement digital advertising campaigns across platforms.
• Generate compelling stories, testimonials, and case studies.
• Develop multimedia content and write persuasive copy for marketing materials, fundraising appeals, event promotions, and donor communications.

Brand Management, Data Analysis, and Reporting:

• Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in messaging, tone, and visual identity across all channels and materials.
• Monitor brand mentions and sentiment online.
• Conduct periodic brand audits.
• Champion the Charity's brand values and mission.
• Set up tracking mechanisms and analytics tools to monitor campaign performance.
• Analyse data to assess campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards summarising campaign results, trends, and insights for internal stakeholders.

Harris Hill are delighted to be working with an internationally focused animal charity in their search for a Trusts Fundraising Manager.

As Trusts Fundraising Manager, you will manage the delivery of the trusts fundraising strategy, including work to identify and research potential new sources of trusts funding. You will develop and manage the delivery of an annual work plan and pipeline for the trusts fundraising programme, including time-sensitive trust applications, to grow income. You will research and make approaches, pitches, submissions and applications to charitable trusts and foundations (both in the UK and overseas territories). You will also develop new and existing relationships with trusts through exemplary stewardship to maximise long term income, secure new sources of funding, upgrade existing levels of giving, repeat donations and multi-year funding.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Experience of working in a fundraising management role or equivalent, with a track record of developing and maintaining relationships with partners and/or potential supporters that ultimately generate income.
• Experience of managing a trusts fundraising programme, and developing a trusts pipeline or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the current trusts fundraising market, including potential supporters.
• Proven ability in developing and producing effective, cohesive, motivating and inspiring proposals, approaches, presentations and funding reports.

Camphill is a worldwide movement with over 100 independent charities (often referred to as 'communities') supporting individuals with additional support needs to lead meaningful lives and to reach their fullest potential. The organisation began here, in Scotland, in 1939 through a group of Austrian refugees. They sought societal change in the way disadvantaged and vulnerable people were treated and cared for. 

There are 11 Camphill charities in Scotland, from Aberdeen to Dumfries and Galloway, supporting over 500 people from early childhood through to older age. In Aberdeen, Camphill Estates owns the land occupied by 6 of them. They are independent charities but work together under the Camphill Estates umbrella for the common good. 

Historically, Camphill Estates had one Fundraising Manager to generate voluntary raised funds and to support all of the communities to fundraise for themselves.  This all changed three years ago when this new post was created, representing a sea change in the organisation’s thinking. 

It followed a master plan which was drawn up with the help of consultants who reviewed the needs of the estate. This process produced a lengthy list of capital build projects for 5 of the 6 charities that are necessary to improve the buildings and the opportunities for the service users. The cost of delivering those projects was an estimated £15million with the focus on improvements to Camphill School and the residential units. 

A highly experience fundraiser was appointed to create and lead the capital campaign to raise the required £15m funding, within a ten-year period.  Three years on, the campaign has met with great success - £4.5m has been raised already.  They also built a very strong and focussed fundraising team of five, raised the profile of the campaign in the local area and built strong working relationships with all the five partner charities.

Sadly, the current capital appeal fundraiser is moving on from Camphill Estates to live overseas, and Camphill Estates are looking for a new senior fundraiser to lead the appeal and carry on the good work. In the three years since the appeal was launched, further capital requirements have emerged, and a new charity (Murtle Market) has been created.   The appeal total has therefore been reset at £15m and again, ten years has been set as the timescale.

The Board has set aside a healthy budget which allows the Director of Fundraising to build a team to deliver success.   It will be up to the Director to devise a strategy and manage the team of five fundraisers to reach the new income goal. 

Crucially, Board do not see this appeal as an end in itself.  Such a varied and evolving group of charities will always have a capital fundraising requirement and are therefore happy to offer this role as a permanent position, not linked to the current appeal target or length.

Your key responsibilities include:

• High value donor and corporate fundraising programme support.
• Project manage high-value donor and corporate fundraising and engagement activities, including delivering appeals, submissions, and enquiries.

Job Purpose:

The Fundraising and Administration Officer role primarily focuses on providing excellent supporter care and administrative support within the fundraising department. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining supporter relations, optimising fundraising efforts, and ensuring efficient administrative processes are in place.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporter Care:

• To be a first point of contact for the Fundraising Department, answering the phone and meeting and greeting people who arrive to the office.
• Respond to enquiries from supporters, prospective supporters and volunteers via telephone, e-mail, and post, maintaining excellent supporter relations.
• Ensure timely and appropriate acknowledgments, using both standard and bespoke correspondence.
• To adhere to administrative procedures to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service which is compliant with all relevant legislation, policies, regulations, and guidelines.
• Provide admin support for Direct Mail letters and appeals, including the use of mail merge, when required.
• Assist with the ongoing stewardship of Regular Givers.

Community Fundraising:

• Co-ordinate the recruitment and appropriate use of volunteers to support fundraising.
• Develop relationships with volunteer fundraisers, with the aim of maximising the funds they raise through challenges, events and talks.
• Support the formation of volunteer fundraising groups.

Digital Marketing:

• Support in developing UK digital fundraising opportunities.

Database Management (Training will be provided):

• Create and maintain contact records on Salesforce, ensuring supporter information is kept up to date by recording changes to mailing preferences, gift aid eligibility and contact details etc.
• Database maintenance and housekeeping e.g. identifying and merging duplicate records, removing, or archiving redundant data, adhering to GDPR protocols.

Finance Administration (Training will be provided):

• Efficiently process and reconcile incoming donations, received daily by post, online and phone. Bank cheques and cash on a weekly basis, and process credit card and CAF donations.
• Record all donations to Salesforce, ensuring the accurate coding of income to the correct source and supporter.
• Administer new Direct Debit instructions.
• Support monthly and quarterly reports demonstrating fundraising income received against budget, to inform the management team and provide accurate forecasting.
• Scan and upload credit card statements and invoices for payment by the Finance team.
• Record and reconcile petty cash expenditure.
• Assist the Finance team in the reconciliation of all income received, responding to any queries.

General Office Administration:

• Order office stationery and fundraising supplies, as required.
• Co-ordinate general office maintenance, as required.
• Arrange accommodation for staff travel to Shrewsbury.

The Cleft Lip and Palate Association (CLAPA) is the national charity for people affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom.

CLAPA supports people affected by cleft to take control of their journey, connect with others, and use their voices to impact the future of care. Our vision is that no one affected by cleft lip and palate in the United Kingdom will go through their journey alone.

We are seeking a Fundraising Coordinator (Individual Giving) to join our small but dynamic Fundraising team.

The role requires excellent donor care and stewardship skills. All forms of communication will be required including the proactive use of digital channels such as the website and social media platforms.

The Individual Giving Fundraiser will play a vital role in increasing income from our existing supporters. You will support donor acquisition as well as taking the lead on retention of our supporters across multiple channels including cash appeals, regular giving, lottery and in celebration giving. The role will also support the Head of Income in the delivery of a legacy and major donor program.

You will develop and deliver excellent stewardship programmes that drive retention by deepening audience understanding of the challenges that people affected by cleft face and the impact that their donations make. Using data and insight, you’ll deliver compelling campaigns, with people affected by cleft right at the centre. You’ll use creative tools and techniques to demonstrate impact and inspire future action.

The Role

 

This is a unique opportunity to join NWAA, due to the growth in the charity’s events portfolio. You will report into the Events Manager and support the events and fundraising team, to deliver its ambitious new strategy. Duties will include:

• Supporting the team with event organisation and delivery, including providing excellent support and stewardship.
• Enrolling participants taking part in a calendar of events across the region.
• Meeting fundraisers and re-engaging lapsed supporters to develop long-term relationships and maximise fundraising.
• Providing up to date content for the charity’s internal marketing team, to enable the effective production of regular communications to engage new and existing supporter.

Community Fundraising Officer – Temporary Position from May 24 for 6 months (£24-25k)

Why join the UK Sepsis Trust (UKST)? Because there’s an exciting opportunity to work for a significant cause and help build its sustainable future. We’re building our new fundraising team and this temporary role will play an important part in accelerating our ambitious plans to increase annual income during 2024/25.

You will become the fourth member of the Fundraising Team (there are 3 full time staff) and will help to support the fundraising team.

Sepsis is the immune system’s overreaction to an infection or injury. There are over 245,000 cases each year in the UK with approximately 48,000 deaths. UKST aims to reduce preventable deaths from this ‘killer’ condition. We achieve this by:

· Raising awareness

· Supporting those affected by sepsis

· Educating health professionals

· Lobbying political organisations for better sepsis and severe infection care

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver supporter journeys i.e. fundraising resources and stewardship communications to maximise supporter numbers, retention and engagement.

2. Use UKST’s CRM system (Raiser’s Edge) to accurately capture fundraiser information and key data contributing to the improved development and implementation of fundraising processes.

3. Communicate proactively and effectively with team members to pass on all relevant information, deliver excellent supporter care and to maximise fundraising opportunities. 

4. Provide excellent customer service members of the public, either via phone, mail and in person, help to develop Fundraising activity whilst also offering our Support Services where necessary.

5. Represent the charity as and when required in schools, local businesses, and community groups, including speaking at events if – not essential

6. Keep up to date with best practice in fundraising and ensure compliance with the latest legislation and guidelines.

7. Assist in prioritising & managing enquiries about our Community Fundraising Programme via our dedicated inboxes.

8. Work collaboratively with the fundraising team and our Communications and Marketing Team to ensure maximum press and social media coverage is obtained for UKST’s community fundraising activities.

 

Day to day activities will include:

1. Managing an inbox and replying to enquiries in a timely and professional manner

1. Problem solving for fundraisers – finding the optimum way they can achieve their goals

2. Support the Event Team Lead with sending out merchandise

2. Download Giving reports and send thank yous to donors and fundraisers

3. Record Supporter details on CRM

4. Cover for holiday periods and manage an inbox in their absence

We are seeking a Senior Fundraising Operations Executive to join our team and support operations for high value fundraising activity, covering the Corporate, Community and Philanthropy teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Supporting High Value Operations: You’ll work on a variety of regular and project-based high value operation activities with a focus on our Corporate and Community Teams, including:
  • Supporting project planning and evaluation.

About the team

The High Value Operations team provides expert support to fundraisers in the areas of systems, processes and planning to enable efficient and effective high value donor facing activity.

This role reports into the Operations Manager in the High Value Operations team, which includes 8 members and supports high value activity across the Corporate, Community and Philanthropy teams.The Corporate team consists of 15 fundraisers, the Community team 52 fundraisers, and the Philanthropy team 9 fundraisers.
