-Steward, renew and grow a portfolio of corporate partnerships at Mind, effectively planning, developing and delivering the partnerships to maximise income and wider benefits for Mind.
-Develop and implement a fundraising and engagement plan to maximise income and added value over the course of partnerships, deliver donor-focused stewardship so partners want to stay with Mind.

About the organisation
The Environment Investigation Agency investigate and campaign against environmental crime and abuse. Their undercover investigations expose transnational wildlife crime, with a focus on elephants and tigers, and forest crimes such as illegal logging and deforestation for cash crops like palm oil. The EIA work to safeguard global marine ecosystems by addressing the threats posed by plastic pollution, bycatch and commercial exploitation of whales, dolphins and porpoises. The Role
The fundraising team at EIA, is responsible for raising income across trusts and statutory funders, as well as raising funds from individuals. The income raised from public fundraising has increased in recent years and they are investing in this area to further increase unrestricted income so that we can conduct even more investigative and campaigning work to protect our natural world.
It is an exciting time to join EIA, as we embark on a new organisational strategy and a new fundraising strategy. Responsibilities:

About the role
This is an exciting new post in the Communications Team at Glass Door. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced researcher to join Water and Sanitation for the Urban Poor (WSUP). WSUP is a not-for-profit company, expert at improving water and sanitation services for low-income, urban communities, since 2005. We currently work in seven countries in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia (Kenya, Uganda, Mozambique, Madagascar, Ghana, Zambia, Bangladesh). WSUP’s innovative approach to creating impact is guided by our values, which are the common fundamental beliefs and principles that inform our approach and work.
The Research Officer will contribute to WSUP’s global impact, as a key member of the Evaluation, Research and Learning (ERL) team. WSUP works at the interface of research and practice and research is a key strategic area within WSUP’s Theory of Change. Since its inception, WSUP has been committed to evidence-based programming, and to sharing the learning from its programmes with the wider sector, to achieve outsized regional and global impact.

This role will work closely with WSUP's Head of Evaluation, Research & Learning (HERL) and the ERL Manager, you will be expected to drive forward technical publications connected to WSUP’s work; manage research projects; and deliver research consultancy.
The role additionally requires sustained close liaison with country programme teams, WSUP’s Global Programmes, Partnerships & Communications (P&C) and Innovation & Consumer Needs (ICON) and WSUP Advisory CIC.

Main Duties:
- Plan, research, write, edit and coordinate technical publications about diverse aspects of urban WASH
- Manage research projects and contribute to in-house research delivery
- Support research uptake and research-into-policy
- Contribute to planning and delivery of WSUP participation in major sector conferences and internal/external learning events
- Support the ERL team as required across its portfolio of activities

The purpose of the role is to develop and manage a portfolio of trust supporters (typically up to £10,000) that donate towards a range of innovative and impactful programmes at the National Theatre. The post-holder will also provide support to the Trusts and Foundations team, assisting with all aspects of the grant fundraising process, including research, data, events, and communication with supporters.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Excellent written communication, with creative and persuasive writing skills and proof-reading ability
- Evidence of strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of donor motivations and history of building relationships with people face to face, over email and/or over the phone
- Strong IT skills and data management skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organisation

Our Individual Giving programme includes cash appeals, regular giving, weekly lottery, retention pieces (including a supporter magazine), and more.
We need your help to deliver insight-led creative campaigns across print media for a mass donor audience, aiming to grow supporter loyalty and inspire repeat donations and repeat actions across our products. You will use data to test and learn, optimising opportunities for our community to support.
You’ll join the small but mighty Individual Giving team, aiming to raise over £1.3 million in 2024/25, with ambition to grow in the future. Together with the Mass Engagement and Fundraising team, we strive to raise money to improve the lives of people with arthritis.

ROLE PURPOSE
This position involves identifying and prioritising potential donors capable of making significant contributions to help us deliver a range of projects aimed at enhancing the student experience and supporting the local community. By providing the Development and Fundraising Team with tailored and insightful research, this role will enhance the prospect funding pipeline and facilitate the cultivation of a diverse pools of donors, including individuals, grant-making trusts, and companies. This role will also manage a well-structured stewardship program for donors. Responsibilities include promptly acknowledging donations, creating personalised impact reports, and overseeing bi-annual events which recognise and celebrate their support.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
· To maintain and develop the University’s database of fundraising prospects through proactive identification, analysis, and segmentation, (individual and aggregate) record updating, and original research, including the identification of new prospects.
· To prepare prospect profiles (which may include wealth ratings), and work with relationship managers to devise appropriate tailored cultivation and solicitation plans, enabling appropriately targeted fundraising asks.
· To develop and manage reporting in the database across fundraising portfolios to help ensure prospects are strategically moving along the prospect pipeline towards major gift solicitation • To produce and provide due-diligence reports on prospective donors as part of the University’s gift acceptance procedures.
· To deliver an annual donor recognition event to acknowledge and celebrate the support of the University’s most generous supporters.
· To organise smaller bespoke events for higher level donors to the university, for example, site visits to project sites and/or opportunities to meet student beneficiaries.

CONTEXT
The primary purpose of the Development team is to secure philanthropic income to support the delivery of the University’s Being Westminster 2022-2029 strategy. The Development team forms part of the Global Recruitment, Admissions, Marketing and Communications (GRAMC) directorate. The team also works closely with the Business Engagement Directorate to deliver an integrated approach to the University’s relationships with its key external stakeholders. The Development team collaborates with the Alumni Relations team to inspire and engage the University of Westminster’s vibrant, global community of alumni and supporters to build lifelong and mutually beneficial relationships with the institution.
