An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supporter Care Assistant to join the Fundraising Team .Your role is to be responsible for delivering excellent service to The Children's Trust’s supporters.

Role Requirements

• Act as the first point of contact for general enquiries (both internal and external) received on a day- to-day basis.
• Confidently respond to phone calls and enquiries from supporters and the general public in a prompt, professional and friendly manner.
• Produce letters and e-mails in response to enquiries from supporters and the general public.
• Ensure the prompt and accurate recording of donations on the fundraising database, ThankQCRM
• Liaise with fundraisers concerning the coding of donations on the fundraising database.
• Produce thank you letters to supporters in a prompt timeframe.
• Liaise with the Finance department regarding donation coding and financial reconciliation.
• Add new supporter records to the fundraising database.
• Update existing supporter records on the fundraising database (i.e. changes of address).
• Update existing donation data on the fundraising database.

• Work to a regular schedule of imports
• Locate the required data from multiple sources both within and outside The Children’s Trust systems
• Follow detailed process guides
• Use various tools to manipulate data and change formats where required
• Import the data on to Charity CRM and other systems using built in and in-house tools
• Ensure financial and personal information is managed appropriately and securely
• Follow detailed briefs and process guides
• Extract supporter data for fundraising activity
• Extract information for use in analysis or other projects
• Update existing reports daily, weekly and monthly
• Report on fundraising activity, income and trends
• Produce detailed financial reports for internal use
• Support the Director of Fundraising & Communications
• Support the Data Manager in developing analysis projects
• Work with the team to identify measures to monitor and model performance
• Learn the use of built in and third-party analysis tools

This is an exciting time for First Give, as we have recently launched our three-year strategy and our ambition to activate the generosity of a million young people by 2034. Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic and relationship-driven Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to lead on growing and stewarding First Give’s portfolio of high-value funders. This role will focus on securing income from High Net Worth Individuals and developing corporate partnerships – from first engagement to account management and delivery.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping First Give’s income growth, working closely with our Deputy Director. This role will also support key engagement activities, including hosting donors at student-led Final events and facilitating employee volunteering at schools.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident fundraiser and communicator with experience managing and deepening relationships with both individuals and corporates – someone who thrives on strategy, storytelling, and social impact.

Corporate Partnerships

• Work with the Deputy Director and members of the Campaign Board to develop a proactive pipeline of corporate partners, focusing on strategic alignment, mutual benefit and long-term value
• Lead on developing tailored pitches, proposal decks and partner materials
• Support the delivery of corporate partnerships, including recognition, benefits, volunteering engagement and impact reporting

Donor Engagement and Stewardship

• Work with the Deputy Director and Campaign Board to identify and cultivate new HNWI prospects
• Collaborate with members of First Give’s Fundraising Campaign Board to generate and support with requests for funding to HNWI and Corporates
• Develop and implement a HNWI outreach strategy, including managing a cultivation pipeline and tracking engagement milestones
• Coordinate and deliver engaging stewardship activities and materials, including tailored updates, reports, and thank-you communications

Person Specification

Essential Experience and Skills

• Demonstrable success in securing significant income from Corporates and HNWI
• Strong experience managing relationships with institutional donors, from cultivation to reporting
• Excellent written communication skills – able to craft compelling, strategic proposals and reports
• Understanding of corporate fundraising and partnership delivery, including employee engagement and volunteering
• Confident and personable – able to represent First Give at events and in donor meetings
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders or board members
• Strong pipeline management and ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple prospects and reporting requirements

The Programme Operations Manger is a new position at the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust. We are looking for someone who can lead and coordinate expert teams across two different work programmes, our Hebridean Whale Centre and whale research boat, Silurian.

The ability to ensure the effective co-ordination and delivery of the charity’s boat and centre operations, on time and within budget, as well as being able to work effectively with the wider team of staff, trustees, volunteers, and external contractors is central to all tasks.

A genuine interest in cetaceans and marine conservation is essential and an understanding of the workings of the third sector would be an advantage.

This is a varied role which differs from season to season and day to day. One day you might be debriefing with our expedition crew aboard our research vessel, the next developing new retail partnerships and promoting the Hebridean Whale Centre.

The role is based in Tobermory on the Isle of Mull which is also where the charity's office, Centre and boat mooring are located. The Programme Operations Manager will work from the office in Tobermory and remotely from home as required to deliver the objectives of the role.

The role

Salary: £35,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience

Our location

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. Key Responsibilities:
