We are looking for a part time Gift Aid Lead - 21 hours per week for an incredible social welfare charity.

The role

• This is a specialist role at the centre of how they manage and maximise Gift Aid across the organisation.
• You'll take ownership of monthly claims covering over £100m of fundraised income, ensuring everything is accurate, fully compliant with HMRC requirements, and supported by a clear and robust audit trail.
• Working across multiple directorates, you'll help embed consistent, high-quality processes so Gift Aid is properly considered, correctly applied, and efficiently delivered at every stage.
• A key part of the role is interrogating and improving the quality of Gift Aid data identifying gaps, increasing declaration coverage, reducing errors, and ensuring income is correctly assessed before claims are made.
• You'll also act as the main point of contact for HMRC queries and audits.
• Alongside the technical side, you'll work closely with teams across fundraising, income processing, data and finance to make sure Gift Aid is fully understood and embedded in day-to-day activity.
• This includes reviewing processes, strengthening controls, supporting supplier compliance and developing clear guidance and training where needed.
• You'll also act as the organisation's authority for Gift Aid sign-off on new campaigns and income streams, helping ensure everything is set up correctly from the start and aligned with HMRC rules and internal governance.

The candidate
You'll bring strong technical knowledge of Gift Aid and HMRC regulation, alongside confidence working with complex data, CRM systems and financial reconciliations.

The Head of Programming & Creative Producing is a new senior role, working with the Chief Executive to shape and deliver the artistic output of the Philharmonia.

The postholder works hand-in-hand with the Head of Artistic Planning, and members of the Executive team to programme and artistically shape traditional concert programmes at various scales and in various contexts, as well as learning and digital projects and pre- or post-concert activities. The postholder also leads on the development and producing of new performance formats for own-promoted concerts.

A first-rate creative thinker, you will be passionate about working with conductors, artists and agents to create world-class concert programmes, residencies and series, and will be able to draw on your deep knowledge and understanding of orchestral repertoire, artists, and the wider cultural context, as well as an established network of industry relationships to turn your ideas into reality.

Your artistic interests, however, will range beyond the traditional core, and you will be driven by a personal mission to engage different and new audiences with orchestral music, whether that is through music for films or games, cross-artform and cross-genre collaborations, pre-performance debates, schools performances, VR installations, or different performance formats. You will take a producing approach to new performance formats, keenly appreciative of the importance of staging, narrative and flow for contemporary audiences. 

You know the importance of equality and diversity on stage in building a future for classical music, and are an active champion of creative projects which demonstrate this. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning

• Research and identify future featured artists, composers and guest conductors proactively

• Research and develop ideas and concepts for season themes and series

• Create mainstage programmes in line with the artistic strategy of the Philharmonia Orchestra in close consultation with the Chief Executive and conductors

Leadership and Management

• Lead on chamber music programming, including liaison with players over proposals

• Lead on the development of wrap-around activity on concert days

Key tasks

• Develop repertoire ideas and ensure timely registration on clash-diary, with support from Co-ordinator 

• Collaborate with Director of Tours and Project Development and partners to develop programmes for foreign touring and commercial projects, while considering market and budget limitations

• Collaborate with the Learning and Engagement Department on programming for education and learning performance formats, including Artist in Residence Programme and Orchestra Unwrapped, leading as required

• Collaborate with the Development Department on funding approaches to support programming, and work with them on programming fundraising performances and events

• Collaborate with Head of Digital Product and Experience on repertoire and project development for PO Virtual Orchestra

• Join the Artistic Committee discussions re future plans as required

• Listen to recordings to assess suitability for release, and discussing in-house recordings with Artistic Committee.

Other

• Work as part of the HODs team on developing future business plan and strategies built around the Orchestra’s mission, vision and values 

• Be in regular contact with Marketing colleagues to help shape season narrative and proof-read key documents.

• Attend rehearsals and performances at Southbank Centre and at venues out of London and overseas as required, in order to meet artists and monitor artistic performance and quality

Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent track record of working in artistic planning or artist management (min 5-7 years)

• First-class knowledge of orchestral repertoire and artists, as well as the work of the Philharmonia Orchestra

• Demonstrable creative programming experience at an advanced level

• Demonstrable entrepreneurial mindset with a successful history of creating new projects

• Current experience of development of UK and international markets for orchestras

• First class communications, influencing, and negotiation skills – and the ability to make the case effectively and enthusiastically

• A collaborative team player able to develop excellent working relationships across the organisation

This is an exciting opportunity for a new leader to guide the organisation through its next phase of development, building from a position of strength. The organisation is in the first year of a clear and ambitious three-year strategy, with a strong core team of staff and a healthy financial position.

Purpose of the Role

The role of the Project Officer – Legal Services (POLS) is to support the PBLS team’s mission to advance the UN SDGs by brokering pro bono legal assistance from legal experts in support of international NGOs globally. The POLS will do this by coordinating the internal processes for project sourcing, scoping and allocating, and utilising legal expertise within these processes and when providing external training and communications.

A key focus of this role is to source and scope out the weekly pro bono projects and forms. The POLS will also engage law firms and other legal stakeholders, conduct due diligence, allocate projects, maintain project records, gather feedback, prepare internal reports and external communications and undertake other administrative tasks as necessary (e.g. updating software and implementing process changes). Broker Service And Operational Responsibilities

The POLS is responsible for supporting PBLS and undertaking relevant responsibilities and duties, including:

• Sourcing, scoping and allocating pro bono legal projects between international development partners and legal partners efficiently and in required timescales.
• Quality assurance of projects and deliverables to ensure stakeholder needs are met. This includes establishing and delivering on internal reporting protocols, narrative reports, high-quality data gathering, and any other required external documentation.
• Managing feedback and progress reviews in relation to A4ID project stakeholders.
• Coordinating learning, thought leadership and training outputs and activities bilaterally between legal and development experts, including briefings, publications, training and learning events, particularly those with a legal focus.
• Working with the CSO Officer on direct outreach for building new partnerships with Development Organisations (NGOs and CSOs).
• Supporting PBSL in managing A4ID’s existing network of legal experts, and expanding the network by engaging with new legal experts.
• Assisting with trialing online pro bono platforms, such as Paladin and Justice Connect.

Marketing & Events

The POLS will support relevant marketing activities related to PBLS. This includes:

• Representing A4ID and increasing visibility of PBLS services at events related to legal pro bono at UK, regional and international levels.  
• Developing relevant external communications and material for social media and newsletters, particularly those with a legal focus.
• Drafting case studies and develop-related external communications (e.g. presentations, website articles and social media posts).

Fundraising and Income Generation

The PBLO will support relevant business development activities related to PBLS including:

• Draft and scope relevant applications and proposals (identified trusts, foundation or institutions).
• Support and provide input into income generation activities/proposal development for existing and new  pro bono products, services, and projects.
• Maintain and develop relationships with contributing legal partners, including participating in regular account management meetings to manage relationships.
• As needed, work across departments/teams support and contribute to overall fundraising and proposals, in line with the organisational strategy.
• Support assessments and mapping of potential funding sources, e.g. trusts, foundations or institutional funding.
• Conduct due diligence and onboarding of any potential new Legal Partners.

 Person Specification

• Law degree (in any jurisdiction).
• Four years of experience working in a legal setting, including law firms or legal charities.
• Strong experience of working independently and delivering tasks in a timely manner.
• Previous brokerage experience (ideally in a legal environment).
• Excellent outreach and engagement skills.
• Excellent relevant IT skills, such as a working knowledge of project management systems, CRMs and cloud-based systems (such as MS Office 365, Salesforce, Asana).

Are you an experienced IDVA, ready to work with a creative and dynamic team, advocating for women, families and the LGBT+ community who have experienced Domestic Abuse? Then join us to lead a team of specialist caseworkers, supporting survivors to address practical issues and empower them in their recovery!

The RISE Team Leader will be a skilled independent domestic and sexual violence advocate who will oversee a small team of case and group workers as well as managing Helpline volunteers. She will be a qualified IDVA and ISVA or be willing to complete the accreditations in the first six months in post.

She will hold a caseload of her own and coordinate a team providing support and guidance through a range of interventions and support offers working closely with an experienced Manager and other Team Leaders. Together with their team they will build, maintain and create links to deliver survivor-focused, trauma aware/ responsive support to help survivors and their family to cope and recover.

They will be the lead on developing, implementing and coordinating the Helpline, Casework and Projects with day-to-day practice oversight of staff and volunteers. The Team Leader will work co-operatively and flexibly alongside RISE colleagues providing expert input and contributing to the effective running of the organisation as a whole.

Purpose of the role

The Data, Evaluation and Learning team enables Impact on Urban Health to embed learning at the heart of its work, ensuring evidence is used to drive impact in Lambeth and Southwark and to advance our understanding of urban health. 

The Head of Learning leads Impact on Urban Health’s approach to turning evidence into organisational insight, learning and influence. The role is responsible for building the systems, practices and products that help us synthesise what we are learning from programmes, innovation, place-based work, evaluation, research, lived experience and external evidence, and use that learning to shape strategy, funding, delivery and external influence. Working closely with the Head of Data and Evaluation, the role ensures evidence is not only generated to a high standard, but actively interpreted, shared and applied. This role will provide senior leadership for how IoUH learns from its work, makes sense of evidence, and turns insight into action. Leading River Action's Campaigns Team, you will shape the organisation's campaigning strategy, ensuring our work is innovative, evidence-led and designed to influence public opinion, hold polluters to account and secure meaningful political and systemic change. You'll create campaigns that connect compelling storytelling with community mobilisation, strategic communications, political advocacy, legal action and partnerships, ensuring every part of our work contributes towards our mission to rescue the UK’s rivers.

You'll provide strategic leadership across the full campaign lifecycle, overseeing campaign planning, delivery, budgeting, resourcing and evaluation. Location: The role is national, managing teams in Northern Ireland, Wales and across England.
