• Delivering an exceptional supporter care service and you'll be the first point of contact for our supporters, ensuring every interaction is professional and aligned with our values. 
• Supporting the Senior Supporter Care manager with fine-tuning processes, handle queries escalated to you, and drive onward improvement by meeting team performance goals and championing innovation. 
• You will process gifts to maintain accurate records and financial reconciliation. Your attention to detail will directly support our fundraising success. 

About You  

• Proven experience in Supporter Care and income processing, ideally within a charity environment, with confidence in handling sensitive or escalated supporter interactions. 
• Strong working knowledge of CRM systems (ideally Raiser’s Edge), with a solid understanding of data accuracy, Gift Aid, and Data Protection legislation. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to manage multiple tasks while working collaboratively across teams. 
• Team-oriented and values-driven, with a passion for delivering great supporter experiences, a positive attitude, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving income, building meaningful relationships with Trusts, Foundations, Businesses and individuals to support life-changing projects in rural Zambia and Mozambique.

Location: Remote (UK only) with a minimum of 5 mandatory meetings per year (includes overnight stays for 2-day meetings) at our office in Shrewsbury and occasional meetings elsewhere.
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 per annum (depending on experience)

The Role

As Corporate and Trusts Fundraiser, you'll take ownership of your fundraising portfolio, focusing on maximising income from corporate partnerships, Trusts and Foundations (both UK and international). You'll build and manage your own portfolio of donors, identify new opportunities, and provide exceptional stewardship to secure ongoing support. Collaboration and adaptability across this small, yet impactful organisation is key, as is a passion for creating positive change.

Your Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a portfolio of corporate supporters, trusts and foundations to maximise income and awareness.
• Develop a robust pipeline of funding applications, securing grants from high value trusts, foundations, statutory bodies and corporates. 
• Develop and nurture relationships with existing and prospective funders, delivering outstanding stewardship. 
• Research and identify new opportunities, delivering pitches that align with companies' values and ESG goals.
• Organise and support corporate fundraising events, both in-person and online.
• Write persuasive proposals, reports, and donor updates that showcase the impact of our work.
• Maintain accurate donor records and ensure timely reporting to funders in line with donation conditions while driving unrestricted and restricted income opportunities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop social media content that engages supporters.
• Work closely with Head of Fundraising to ensure key fundraising objectives are achieved.
• Uphold and embed Village Water values and behaviour expectations in your work.
• Ensure communications are in line with the Fundraising Regulator guidelines.
• Act as an ambassador for Village Water, representing the charity at networking events.

This role will be instrumental to helping the ongoing success & continued evolution of the marketing and digital tactics for these audiences. 

This Marketing Officer position at Brooke is a pivotal role within the Legacy & Community Engagement team. Legacies are Brooke’s largest single source of voluntary income and fund over half of our international animal welfare work. And it is one of our key fundraising priorities and an integral part of our 5yr fundraising strategy.

Within this role you will help deliver an exciting portfolio of integrated, multi-channel and supporter-centric campaigns that involves all elements of the marketing mix as well as a range of diverse stewardship activities. We are looking for a highly organised individual with great communication skills who will help deliver a range of marketing campaigns and stewardship activity which will acquire new supporters, convert existing Brooke supporters and steward known supporters, with the ultimate goal of increasing the number of supporters who include a gift to Brooke in their Will.

We’re looking for a Mass Participation Product Manager to lead the delivery and growth of our owned events portfolio, including our flagship Walk of Light and Walk the World campaigns, while shaping new and exciting supporter experiences.

Key responsibilities

Fundraising & Income Generation

· Develop and deliver engaging fundraising campaigns and activities for community groups, individuals, and businesses to support our shared mission

· Build strong, sustainable relationships with local supporters, volunteers, and corporate partners to grow income and awareness

· Lead on stewarding existing supporters and proactively seeking out new ones through networking and outreach

· Create and manage a calendar of fundraising events and opportunities that engage and inspire participation from all parts of our community

· Promote and support third-party fundraising events, providing advice, materials, and encouragement to maximise their success

Community Engagement

· Be a warm and visible ambassador for The Carers Centre, representing our values at local events, community spaces with empathy and enthusiasm.

· Support the development of volunteer fundraising networks and champions

· Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure carers’ voices are at the heart of messaging and initiatives

Corporate Partnerships

Research, approach, build  and sustain meaningful relationships with local businesses and corporate supporters , fostering shared value of community support, compassion, and social responsibility. to secure donations, sponsorships, employee fundraising, and volunteering opportunities

· Prepare compelling partnership proposals, impact reports, and presentations tailored to potential and existing partners

Communications & Administration

· Work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to promote fundraising campaigns through digital, print, and social media channels

· Maintain accurate supporter records and track income and engagement using our CRM system

· Ensure all fundraising activity is compliant with GDPR, fundraising regulations, and reflects The Carers’ Centre’s values

General

Ensure that you;

· Support the Carbon Champion by implementing environmentally friendly practices to help reduce our carbon footprint.

We are looking for a Youth Support Manager to deliver outstanding pastoral support and safeguarding across NYO’s national programme. This role is central to ensuring that young people feel happy, listened to and secure while participating in NYO activities. It combines practical management, team leadership and youth-centred insight to embed NYO’s ethos into every aspect of delivery.

Working closely with the Head of Youth Development, you will manage the freelance Support Team and lead the Youth Support Co-ordinator, ensuring that safeguarding, welfare and inclusion are implemented consistently. You’ll be confident handling conversations with teenagers and their parents/carers, managing sensitive information, and coordinating logistics in a busy residential environment. You’ll also deputise for the Head of Youth Development when required, leading operational briefings and representing the team in cross-programme conversations.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting young people’s wellbeing and development through music. You’ll work closely with colleagues across planning, programmes and operations, and be a visible and responsive point of contact for young people and staff on the ground.

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the Medair UK team as we are seeking a part-time Operations Support Officer. The post holder will be responsible for Medair UK’s financial and office administration, including maintenance of the organisation’s CRM database and some fundraising support. You will ensure the accurate processing and timely delivery of donor and financial information and acting as first point of contact for the organisation, you will be responding to supporter enquiries. You will also provide general office, and IT support to the Head of Operations.

Together, we work in some of the most remote and difficult places on earth, empowering people to build a better future. This year our teams in Sudan have remained operational, working under the most difficult conditions, and launched a new response in Chad to support those fleeing across the borders. In the Democratic Republic of Congo, we received global coverage as one of the first responders saving the lives of communities affected by Mpox – and no lives were lost amongst those we treated. We also scaled up in Lebanon supporting at displaced communities affected by the conflict. In 2024 through our experienced national and international teams we helped 3,743,021  people across 13 countries.

About you

You will have experience of working in an office administration role, including financial processing and have proven experience with databases. You will be comfortable working with and prioritising high volumes of work. In addition to your experience of completing routine, complex tasks accurately and systematically, you will be able to maintain quality and attention to detail. Confident, polite and professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team, you will have strong planning and organisational skills, with experience of maintaining office and administrative systems

Key Activities

      Donation Processing

• Responsible for the timely recording and processing of all incoming donations (including via our website, bank account, third party platforms and cheques) into the Medair UK CRM (Salesforce).
• Ensure all donors receive gift acknowledgements / thank you letters corresponding to each gift received.
• Maintain up-to-date records of donors, staff and other contacts in the Medair UK database.
• Process and record completed Gift Aid declarations and support in the regular reclaim of Gift Aid.

      Financial Administration

• Inputting of all financial data (income and expenditure) into Quick Books.
• Preparing and following up suppliers invoices for payment.
• Processing expenses claims.
• Managing the banking of income and supporter cheques.
• Support the Head of Operations to implement the month and year end reconciliation process for both Salesforce and Quick Books.

      Facilities & Office Management

• Act as first point of contact for the office and public enquiries, responding to incoming telephone calls and emails.
• Answer basic enquiries about Medair's work and distributing information to supporters and others as required.
• Manage and order office supplies, stationery and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment, administrating risk assessments, H&S and fire safety procedures.

      Information Technology

• Ensuring the maintenance of the IT system and handling minor in-house IT technical issues for staff and volunteers. 
• Liaising with the Global Support Office IT Helpdesk team to ensure the timely set up of IT for new staff and volunteers – i.e. setting up email addresses, and relevant permissions.
• Ensuring that IT permissions are current, and that these are amended as and when staff and volunteers leave.
• Assisting with continuous improvements in Medair UK’s use of IT.

​    Engagement Support

• Supporting fundraising activities with data segmentation and the production of standard and custom reports in Salesforce
• Supporting the production and automation of email newsletter and appeals via Campaign Monitor
• Setting up new Salesforce campaigns with tailored reports and dashboards to track donations.
• Producing digital surveys and web-forms as required.
• Providing support to Medair’s virtual events, including the technical administration of Zoom and pre and post event attendee administration.           

      HR Administration

• Organising and co-ordinating staff and volunteer inductions ensuring that the induction checklist is completed.
• Supporting the Head of Operations with team training and organisational learning and development opportunities.

Qualifications - DESIRABLE

• Vocational qualification in business or financial management / administration desirable

 Languages

• Excellent English (spoken and written).

 Experience / Competencies – ESSENTIAL

• Experience of office administration / financial administration
• Experience of Microsoft Office solutions, including Excel and Word; Internet and email proficient
• Experience of fundraising or other database(s), ideally Salesforce and Campaign Monitor

Background Information and Purpose of Post

This post is a pivotal role in enabling HI UK to maximise our income from individual donors, regular donors and other supporters, via excellent donor care and accurate, up-to-date data.

The purpose of the post is to:

· process donor data and donations accurately and efficiently into the fundraising database.

· help HI UK provide a first-class experience to its supporters

· provide administrative support to the Fundraising Manager and the Individual Giving team

· manage volunteers where appropriate on a day-to-day basis and provide ongoing training and support

· support the IGC team with social media and content production.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Data entry

· Input donations, pledges and other donor data into the fundraising database (Advantage Fundraiser) and assess the accuracy and validity of the data.

· Input and set up regular donations accurately.

· Reconcile finances at the end of each month with the support of the Fundraising Manager

· Manage and maintain up to date records for Gift Aid.

· General database housekeeping tasks.

· Compile and present accurate queries and reports as needed by the team.

Donor care and communications

· Be the first point of contact for all existing and prospective donors and represent HI UK in an efficient, effective and professional way.

· Provide individual donor care, including answering queries and dealing with complaints.

· Draft, produce and send written correspondence such as emails, thank you letters and other relevant documents for donors.

· Review and update call-handling procedures for use by all staff members.

· Improve knowledge and understanding of supporters and develop donor relationships.

· Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection legislation in all processes and activities.

· Work with the Media Officer to maintain HIUK’s social media presence to increase supporter engagement in line with our Individual Giving and Communications strategy.

· Respond to enquiries via social media and moderate comments.

Administrative support

· Provide general administrative support to the Individual Giving and Communications team.

· Contribute to the development and implementation of effective processes and automation between the Fundraising, Communication and Finance team members.

· Review and update Fundraising and Database guidelines.

· Maintain an efficient record-keeping system for donation forms, including saving electronic copies of donations and Gift Aid declarations.

· Resolve queries about donations (e.g. unsigned cheques).

· Support the weekly reconciliation of donations with the Finance department (i.e. ensuring that what is banked matches the fundraising database).

Volunteers

· Assist with the recruitment and induction of Fundraising volunteers.

· Support, guide and supervise fundraising volunteers on a daily basis.

· Work with volunteers to manage stationary and stock levels.

Other

· Participate in internal/external meetings and other functions as necessary.

· Undertake any other reasonable duty consistent with the nature of the job and its level of responsibility.
