We’re seeking a skilled and dedicated Communications & Digital Marketing Manager to join our small UK-based team. In this flexible, remote role (21 hours per week), you’ll use your creativity and expertise to raise awareness and grow support to help transform the lives of street-connected children in Kolkata, India.

ABOUT THE HOPE FOUNDATION FOR STREET CHILDREN (HOPE UK)

• HOPE UK raises awareness and funds for street-connected children and slum–dwelling communities in Kolkata, India, supporting 60 projects (in education, protection, healthcare, vocational training) delivered by The Hope Kolkata Foundation.
• Since 2007, HOPE UK has raised over £1M and currently supports 621 children via a child sponsorship programme.

KEY ROLE OBJECTIVES

• Grow and diversify the UK supporter base
• Create compelling content to drive engagement and support fundraising
• Manage and optimise HOPE UK’s website, email, and social media
• Deliver a UK communications and marketing strategy
• Track and report performance using data-driven analytics

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and deliver engaging on-brand content across digital platforms (website, email, social media)
• Manage content calendar and campaigns to raise awareness of HOPE and support fundraising initiatives
• Monitor and manage social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) to maximize audience engagement and growth
• Identify new opportunities (e.g. Influencers) and respond to comments as required (real-time)
• Produce newsletters (Mailchimp), manage segmentation and CRM (Beacon) integration with website
• Update and optimise HOPE UK website (Wordpress Elementor), apply SEO and integrate Google Ads.
• Manage Google Ad Grants
• Ensure legal compliance (GDPR, copyright) and safe-guard HOPE’s online brand and reputation
• Write and pitch press releases as required and relevant
• Collaborate closely with HOPE UK Head of Fundraising, wider HOPE UK team, and occasionally external partners and supporters
• Collaborate with HOPE Ireland and HOPE Kolkata Communications and Digital Marketing team as required / relevant
• Oversee the marketing budget
• Represent HOPE UK at events as relevant, if requested
• Have a flexible and collaborative approach, particularly on live campaigns and monitoring social media, which might require working outside usual office hours
• Be available for potential overseas travel to Kolkata

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Proven comms/digital marketing experience (charity sector essential)
• Strong writing, creative content creation, editorial judgment and campaign analysis skills
• Skilled at increasing audience engagement and understanding CTA messaging to drive fundraising
• Proficient using Wordpress Page Builders, specifically Elementor
• Proficient in Mailchimp, Canva, Hootsuite or other scheduling tools 
• Experience of optimsing Mailchimp and Website integrations with a CRM (preferably Beacon)
• Experience optimising UX on websites
• SEO and Google analytics knowledge and experience of managing Google Ads
• Experience using creative software (Canva, Photoshop, video editing tools, etc)
• Self-starter; team player; flexible approach to working hours; resourceful; excellent communicator
• An understanding of, and affinity with, Indian culture is desirable
• Knowledge of using a Macbook is desirable

The Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of humanitarian crisis overseas. This role will require you to lead on organic social media as part of the DEC Communications team, working closely with the Digital and Innovation team in Fundraising, collaborate with social leads across our 15 member charities and public figures through our talent agency. During appeal launch periods it will also involve managing a small social media team of volunteers.

All roles at the DEC are based in our London office. We operate a hybrid working model, with some non-negotiable office attendance. Please note, during the two-week appeal launch period, staff are required to work extremely long hours, in a faced-paced busy environment, with mandatory office attendance.

THE ROLE

Working as part of a small finance team you will process Railway Children UK’s expenditure and income transactions accurately and in a timely manner, including being responsible for the purchasing cycle on the accounts system, and support with the processing of income on the fundraising database. You will engage with all departments to ensure that they are supported and gain an insight into all aspects of the organisation.

Woman’s Trust is the leading independent charity providing free and confidential mental healthcare to domestic abuse survivors throughout London and the South-East. You will be responsible for planning and delivering effective communications that reach, engage, motivate, and resonate with media, clients, fundraisers, and policy makers across a range of channels.

We are looking for someone with a strong news sense and experience in Press and Public Relations. You will have a demonstrable background of proactively getting organisations involved in the public conversations that matter – while reflecting the confidential nature and sensitivities around domestic abuse and mental health. We aim to proactively generate more awareness of our work and its impact, including our unique position in the women’s and mental health sectors.

The role will be responsible for proactive and reactive media relations; effective engagement on social media; developing engaging content for our website; drafting copy for and producing marketing materials, including our e-newsletter. A highly autonomous role, you will work closely with our Chief Executive, fundraising, counselling, and research teams. You will also be engaging regularly with the Board of trustees, supporting our Chief Executive in our work and mission.

Our ideal candidate would also have experience of working on press and awareness campaigns; and the ability to create content on social media in line with branding guidelines. Experience in developing communications strategies and reporting on Key Performance Indicators would be preferred.

The postholder will be a key part of growing the Hub’s  Advice and Advocacy/ Pastoral / Wrap-around services, working as a team with our partners, providing support to guests and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities

Research grant management

• Managing the delivery of GOSH Charity’s response-mode funding schemes, including our National Research Project Grant and ‘Lift Off’ pilot study funding call and others.
• Supporting potential applicants via email, phone or in person to ensure we receive high quality grant applications. 
• Processing, reviewing and validating grant applications. 
• Leading the peer review process using our Grant Management System.
• Project managing the delivery of the Research Assessment Panel.
• Supporting the input of patient and public voice, to ensure they’re built into our research funding decision making. 

Committee management

• Providing operational and secretariat support to the Research Assessment Panel and Lift Off Scientific Assessment Panels, and other expert research review panels as required.
• Managing agendas and meeting logistics, including face to face meetings as they are arranged.
• Preparing papers and reports, and collating these from across the team for delivery to the Committee in good time.
• Preparing high quality minutes that provide a clear record of discussions, decisions, and actions, and disseminating these following internal and Chair approval.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Previous experience working in grants management or within relevant scientific research.

The role will be responsible for developing and implementing a multi-year major donor strategy to grow income and build a robust pipeline of supporters. You will personally manage a portfolio or high-value prospects and donors, and will lead on bespoke cultivation and stewardship plans, ensuring that all the charity’s donor engagement is tailored, strategic and high-impact. The role also offers a rare chance to build your own high-performing team, recruiting, managing and supporting the development of Principal Gifts and Major Giving members of staff. 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in personally securing six figure + gifts from individual donors, as well as a background in major donor fundraising, philanthropy or private wealth engagement.  You will have experience of working with senor stakeholders and possess strong relationship management and interpersonal skills. Previous experience of successfully establishing a philanthropy and special events function from scratch in a charity setting would be advantageous.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Data Services, the Data Officer will meet data needs relating to the management and delivery of supporter and engagement products. You will work alongside three other Data Officers to assess, prioritise and provide solutions including the building of data selections and journeys for direct marketing purposes and the running of supporter data imports and exports.

Experience of using CRM Dynamics, Faststats and PeopleStage and or any Donor CRM for marketing purposes will make you a person of interest to us. Key responsibilities will include:

Reporting into the Individual Giving Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the Individual Giving team. You will be responsible for the delivery of core elements of the Supporter Acquisition programme, developing engaging communications / products and activity across multiple channels, such as paid search and social, email, telemarketing and offline channels. You will lead and deliver projects for the recruitment of new supporters to identify new audiences, optimise response, grow the supporter base and contribute to the lifetime value of supporters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead in the development and delivery of Supporter Acquisition campaigns/activity/products across a range of media, with a specific focus on digital channels, in line with strategy, planned budgets and targets, ensuring campaign deadlines are met.
• Work closely with the Individual Giving Manager – Supporter Acquisition to plan, manage and deliver the annual operating plan, including end-to-end project management, making decisions within agreed parameters, providing recommendations for final approval.
• Be responsible for the briefing and the day-to-day management of internal and external suppliers including copy and artwork development through to production, broadcast and final print.
• Monitor and report on campaign/activity/product performance/KPIs (e.g. end of campaign reports, monthly reporting) and analyse results to enhance campaign performance and inform campaign planning, decision making and improvements to Supporter Acquisition.
• Manage the briefing and liaising with the Data team to deliver complex and accurate data selections and reporting requirements.
• Deliver draft budget and reforecasting figures as part of the planning and budgeting process, providing information required, and working closely with the Individual Giving Manager – Supporter Acquisition, to review and reforecast activities for Supporter Acquisition.

Person Specification: 

• Experience of applying the principles and techniques of Individual Giving / Direct Marketing within a multi-channel, multi-discipline environment, especially through supporter acquisition channels.
• Good project-management experience, including managing budgets, schedules, creative development, and supplier relationships for fundraising direct marketing campaigns.
• Knowledge of best practice digital fundraising, with particular experience of running Search, Social and online campaigns to increase supporters and gather data for future marketing opportunities.
• Experience of managing campaign budgets, reforecast of activity, monitoring, reconciling and reporting on results in line with KPIs.

We are seeking a faith filled, people focussed senior leader offering operational management which includes oversight of our Support Services Hub and staff team and developing commercial enterprise, to contribute to our financial resilience and resource mission.

The Operations Manager will work closely with the Team Rector in developing and implementing the strategy, systems and capacity to enable the parish and its churches and worshipping communities to be effective in fulfilling the parish vision and priorities.   

The purpose of the role is to provide strategic oversight and efficient management of the operational, administrative, financial, HR, safeguarding and property functions of the parish.  The role includes day to day management of the Support Services Hub and staff team who are at the forefront of support for operations and enterprise.  

In terms of enterprise, your role will be to develop and implement an entrepreneurial approach to income generation and financial sustainability.  This might focus on our use of buildings, the development of other innovative commercial enterprise and developing and implementing other fundraising strategies (including grant applications).  We already hire out many of our buildings, yet we recognise that our buildings and grounds, could be used more innovatively and are seeking somebody who will bring innovation to our thinking and enable our assets to be stewarded more effectively.
