We're Looking For: Off the table Campaigns Assistant.
We're searching for an enthusiastic and well-organised Off the table Campaigns Assistant to join our dynamic campaigns team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to our high-impact campaigns as we enter an exciting new chapter in our work to address the environmental challenges posed by salmon farming. Off the table is a campaign asking chefs, diners and food lovers to stop serving and eating farmed salmon.
What We're Looking For:
- Someone with a genuine passion for protecting wild fish populations and aquatic environments, preferably living in Scotland!
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach
- Enthusiasm for learning and growing in the campaigning field
- Eager to amplify important environmental messages
- Experience in the hospitality sector (desirable)
- Experience in social media community management (desirable)
What You'll Be Doing:
- Supporting Our Community Outreach:
- Helping with the day-to-day admin that comes from our Off the table stakeholder outreach and community mobilisation efforts
- Support with planning, organising and running engaging events that bring people together to progress our campaigns
Your Daily Tasks Will Include:
- Campaign Administration: Managing email inquiries with care and maintaining our OTT directory and CRM systems
- Event Support: Handling the planning and logistics for both online and in-person events
- Community Connection: Reaching out to hospitality sector partners and community activists; social media community management,
- Desk-based research to identify chefs and restaurants to join the campaign
- Supporting WildFish with its broader campaigns and goals
What We'd Love You to Bring:
- Experience with project and time management
- Strong communication skills - whether you're writing, speaking, or listening
- A background in customer service, supporter relations, or volunteer coordination
- Comfortable with updating websites and digital databases (don't worry, we'll support you!)

Churches Conservation Trust (CCT) is the national charity caring for historic churches at risk. As the operator of the third largest heritage estate in charitable ownership in the UK, our 356 historic churches include examples of irreplaceable architecture, archaeology and art from 1,000 years of English history.
CCT has an international award-winning reputation in heritage conservation and regeneration. All churches in our care are listed, mostly Grade I and II*, and some are Scheduled Ancient Monuments.
Without our care, these buildings might have disappeared entirely. Instead, they are enjoyed as social, tourism, educational and cultural resources, kept open, in use, and living once again in the heart of their communities.
Overall job purpose
Our Health and Safety Officer will help us embed, maintain, and develop high standards of Health and Safety, across CCT’s estate and its people. They will work closely with our small Health and Safety Team to create, implement, and establish our Health and Safety policies and procedures, in accordance with current legislation. They will advocate for, and set an example around, best practice in Health and Safety.
We have recently published our TRUST values, which outline the behaviours and expectations that act as our foundations at CCT. We have attached the pack, outlining each value, which we will also be using as part of our shortlisting and interview process to find the right candidates that align with our values.

As our Creative Copywriter, you’ll be joining a talented and friendly creative team who recently won In-House Agency of the Year at the Inside Out Awards.
We think and work a like an agency – we’re not here to simply cross the T’s and dot the I’s. Our work is all about finding the big ideas, so we need this to be one of your superpowers (and you’ll need a portfolio to prove it).
Our team takes on a variety of briefs from across the organisation and things move quickly. One day, you might be working on our Christmas fund-raising campaign. The next, you could be brainstorming ideas for an event or writing copy for a cash-appeal mail out. Whatever the brief, you’ll be taking projects from concept to completion, always working alongside a designer and a Creative Lead.
You’ll need real understanding of social media, an exceptional grasp of brand voice, meticulous attention to detail, excellent proofreading skills and all the versatility you’d expect from a top-notch copywriter.

- At least 3-5 years of advertising copywriting experience in an agency or an in-house team.
- Ability to craft sharp headlines and write copy across all channels—from film and OOH to social and cash appeal mailers.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively present and articulate ideas to stakeholders.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills, able to meet tight deadlines and prioritise, while focusing on quality.
- Good understanding of digital media best practices and deep knowledge of social media.
