Based at our newly rebuilt animal centre in Chesterfield but with scope also for hybrid working, you will have the opportunity to see our animal rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming work in day-to-day action.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fundraising
i. Work collaboratively with multiple internal stakeholders to capture and understand requirements, identify new opportunities or build on existing activity to help achieve income targets.
ii. To data input and maintain events in line with current practices.
iii. To help find volunteers to attend events.
iv. To send out and organise fundraising merchandise and materials for Cinnamon Trust and volunteer events.
v. Handle general telephone and personal enquiries regarding fundraising and events.
vi. Undertake any other reasonable and related tasks, as required by the Marketing and Fundraising team .
vii Have a good working knowledge of charity legislation and work to the Institute of Fundraising Codes of Practice and Fundraising Standards.
vii. To liaise with, and assist other members of the fundraising team.
Events
i. To be available to attend major events for The Cinnamon Trust, making sure that all holidays are worked round our events diary.
ii. To drive The Cinnamon Trust van and trailer to events.
iii. To promote The Trust at events and always present a positive and professional image.
iv. To make sure the appearance of the stand is always presentable.
v. To manage volunteers at an event and give a briefing at the beginning of the day regarding objectives.
vi To seek any permissions required for an event and complete risk assessments required.
vii To make sure that furniture and other equipment is available at each event.
viii To make sure all materials for an event are event appropriate (eg: could be a volunteer driven event or PP) and well stocked.
ix To account for stock and merchandise for each event and fill out request forms that will be logged against each event.
x. To make sure that any cash taken at an event is kept safe.
xi. To liaise with the PR and Marketing department regarding events and to supply photos and copy for their use. To work with the PR and Marketing team regarding fundraising campaigns and promotions.

- To carry out and contribute to the fundraising strategy

Digital Fundraising Growth Manager

This role is offered on a hybrid contract giving you the opportunity to also work from home three days a week.
Purpose of Role
The Digital Fundraising Growth Manager will manage our digital paid media planning and delivery, driving audience engagement at all stages of the marketing funnel, specifically with the aim of delivering growth in our supporter base and income.
The post holder will directly oversee all digital paid media activity in line with agreed campaign and year round engagement and fundraising strategies and plans, including but not limited to social media advertising, search marketing, programmatic display, and emerging channels ensuring plans are fully integrated with other engagement and fundraising activity (including owned and earned media across all channels and wider organisational efforts).
Working closely with internal teams and external agencies, you will drive digital fundraising performance across a range of campaign and product offers, optimising media spend; creative and supporter journeys using data-driven insights informed by a rapid and robust test and learn methodology to ensure our investments are optimised for performance.
As the Comic Relief’s paid media champion, the post holder will also play a key role in ensuring alignment of media campaigns with integrated web and CRM journeys to deliver consistent and personalised supporter experiences. Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is essential, enabling the role to analyse audience behaviour, measure performance, and continuously refine strategies to improve outcomes across the full supporter lifecycle.

Key responsibilities:
Plan and deliver strategically aligned digital fundraising activity, focussed for the relevant target audiences:
· Contribute to the planning and delivery of a comprehensive digital growth strategy, with specific responsibility for Comic Relief’s paid media across platforms such as Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging channels.
· Directly manage and optimise paid media campaigns to drive audience acquisition, engagement, and fundraising income, innovating and testing new approaches alongside tried and tested methods.

Essential criteria
· Proven experience in paid digital media management, ideally in a growth-focused role within a charity, agency, or brand.
· Technical expertise:
- Demonstrable experience using digital advertising platforms, including Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok, YouTube, and programmatic display.
- Experience in audience acquisition and growth strategies, particularly in driving engagement and fundraising through digital channels.
- Excellent data analysis skills with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and campaign performance dashboards.
· Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously, deploying excellent project management, in a fast-paced environment, able to identify risks, issues and dependencies within a project / campaign and to use this information to inform decision making in a timely and accurate way.

Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a creative and organised communicator who thrives on bringing people together through compelling campaigns and memorable events. You'll be confident managing multiple projects, with a flair for storytelling and a strong grasp of how to engage audiences both digitally and in person.

- To work with the Community Engagement Officer on the development and roll out of our community fundraising programme, identifying areas of growth and undertaking regular analysis to increase the awareness, engagement and income generating opportunities

About Us
Amaze is a Sussex-based charity that supports families with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). Amaze’s fundraising is growing. We used to fundraise mainly through trusts and foundations. We still receive a large portion of our income from statutory funders (such as councils and the NHS). In the last 18 months we have begun work to increase our income from other sources. We are launching a big and exciting art-based fundraising project that will take place in autumn 2026. In this project we will work closely with artists, businesses, schools and members of the public. We are looking for a fundraiser to help us deliver the project, working within and alongside our fundraising and marketing team.
About the job
As our Community and Events Fundraiser, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks. You will help plan fundraising events, organise our presence at community activities, and support our wonderful volunteers. A big part of your job will be building strong relationships with schools and community groups, encouraging them to get involved and supporting them in their fundraising efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for organising events, liaising with schools, youth groups and artists, supporting volunteers and supporting community fundraisers. You will be a mix of office and home-based, with some days at events and activities within Brighton & Hove.
