The Database Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of the hospice's fundraising database (Donorflex) and providing excellent support to donors and fundraisers.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with strong database skills, a commitment to data quality, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Role Purpose
As Head of Fundraising, you will be responsible for generating sustainable income through our fundraising activities, along with ensuring that Beaumond House is continuously building strong relationships with our supporters, local businesses and wider community as part of our income generation strategy.
You will lead and support the Beaumond House fundraising team in developing sustainable income to help ensure our charitable work continues to make an impact in Newark and Sherwood for future generations.
Main Duties
- Responsible for devising, implementing, and developing innovative fundraising activity plans to ensure dependable sources of income for now and in the future.
- Work with your team, to build long-lasting relationships with our supporters, volunteers, businesses, grant makers and wider community.
- Manage the fundraising team operations and plan day-to-day activities.
- Ensure that all fundraising activity and donor communications is compliant and to best practice, keeping up to date with latest fundraising regulations.
- Work closely with senior leadership team, in particular Head of Retail and Head of Care to ensure joined-up fundraising campaigns are in place across the organisation.

Administration Duties

Head of Finance

The Head of Finance is a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) of Modern Art Oxford and is responsible for managing and reporting on the finances of the charity, acting as Company Secretary.
The role is supported by the Senior Finance Officer and Finance Assistant.
Responsibilities
Finance
- To work closely with the Director on the preparation of the business plan and to take a leading role within SMT on monitoring and reporting to ensure its successful delivery.
- To lead on budgeting processes including three- to five-year plans, detailed annual budgets, cash flow forecasts and in-year re-forecasts.
- To be responsible for reporting on the overall financial position of the organisation, including the statutory accounts, management accounts and reports to budget-holders, ensuring that budgets are adhered to, that cash flow is managed, that effective cost control mechanisms are in place, that revenue is maximised and that there is timely and accurate financial reporting to SMT and the Board of Trustees.
- To ensure that best practice, statutory and organisational requirements are met in the operation of financial controls, the management of funds, charity accounting, Endowments Funds and investments, and taxation.
- To ensure the safety and security of the organisation’s financial assets.
- To prepare and submit the annual Museums & Galleries Exhibition Tax Relief (MGETR) submission, Gift Aid and all other tax rebates.
- To liaise with the external auditors for the annual audit of the statutory accounts and management of the pensions and other professional financial services as required, being the main contact in the organisation for the bank, auditors and pension providers.
- To liaise with pension trustees and other employers of the PSATSA closed defined benefit scheme, including triennial revaluations and negotiation of affordable repayments, reporting to the Trustees and Director.

The Role

The Trust is seeking a Fundraising Director to run the day-to-day operations of our small and successful charity, alongside our existing Director of Operations, starting 1 September 2025, or as soon as possible thereafter.
The annual salary is £33,000 and hours of work are 35 hours a week. The successful candidate must be able to work from home but be willing to travel to central London for regular meetings and occasional events. We are open to part-time or flexible working options.
22 days annual leave increasing one day per year up to 30 days, plus bank holidays.
Pension contribution: employer 3% and staff 5% at the People’s Pension.

The National Youth Arts Trust (NYAT) is a small performing arts charity that exists to widen access to the performing arts for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds - through giving bursaries for music, dance, and drama lessons, running youth theatre projects, and taking children to the theatre, often for the first time.

Purpose of the Job
· Supporting the day-to-day management of the Trust, with a particular focus on fundraising and event organisation for current and future projects.
· Working with the Board of Trustees to ensure the National Youth Arts Trust achieves its vision and charitable objectives, creating and implementing the strategy for NYAT and ensuring operating policies and procedures are fit for purpose and regularly reviewed.

This role exists to develop and deliver effective fundraising campaigns, build and maintain strong relationships with donors and funders, and ensure exceptional stewardship that encourages continued and increased support. Working closely with the senior leadership team and wider organisation, the officer will contribute to a culture of philanthropy, helping to secure vital income through a diverse mix of streams such as individual giving, legacies, corporate partnerships, community fundraising and trusts and foundations.
Through tailored communication, impact reporting, and donor recognition, the Fundraising and Stewardship Officer will ensure that all supporters feel valued and connected. This person centred approach not only helps meet immediate funding goals but also builds a loyal, long-term supporter base, enabling the organisation to deliver meaningful impact in the communities it serves.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and deliver a multi-channel individual giving operational plan that supports donor acquisition, retention, and re-engagement, across online and offline platforms.
- Take ownership of a portfolio of lower-value (up to £5k) trusts and foundations, including community foundations, and contribute to the development of applications for mid-tier funders in collaboration with the Income Generation and Fundraising Lead.
- Maintain and update the income generation pipeline, tracking donor and funder stages, communications, deadlines and actions, and supporting internal reporting.
- Undertake regular prospect research to identify potential new individual donors, corporate partners, community groups, and trusts/foundations, maintaining a prospect tracker with recommendations for cultivation.
- Design and deliver fundraising campaigns and activities tailored to individual donors, including regular giving opportunities, payroll giving, donor clubs and high-net-worth cultivation.
- Manage the processing and stewardship of all individual donations and enquiries – including prompt and appropriate acknowledgements, follow-up, and personalised engagement activity.
- Maintain and oversee the fundraising CRM/database (e.g. Donorfy, Raiser's Edge, Salesforce), including updating records, running reports, creating segments, and supporting targeted communications and mailouts.
- Ensure all data is managed in compliance with GDPR and internal policies, contributing to best practice around data security, consent, and supporter preferences.

This team of global fundraising experts works closely with Save the Children member offices around the world, providing them with strategic support in priority areas and fostering a vibrant fundraising community. The team also ensures global leadership and coordination for our humanitarian fundraising strategies/campaigns, collects and reports global fundraising/marketing KPIs, coordinates international benchmarking initiatives and provides strategic fundraising analysis and actionable insights to members.

The Global Donor Acquisition Lead is a senior and highly influential role within Save the Children International (SCI). At a time when cuts in Foreign Aid have placed unprecedented pressure on unrestricted income, this role is central to ensuring individual giving plays a transformative role in sustaining and growing our impact. Acquisition growth is a top global priority, and this role will shape the direction and effectiveness of multi-million dollar investments across our global movement.
The postholder will lead on the development and implementation of a bold, data-driven, and future-ready global donor acquisition strategy, with a strong focus on regular giving. They will work in close partnership with SCI experts and with Fundraising Directors, Heads of Individual Giving, and channel specialists to deliver a channel-agnostic, high-performing acquisition roadmap that balances volume, quality, and long-term value.

Principal Accountabilities
· Lead the global acquisition strategy to deliver ambitious, step-change growth in regular and single giving, with a particular focus on achieving high-quality RG donor acquisition at scale.
· Champion an omni-channel approach, ensuring acquisition strategies are integrated across DRTV, paid digital, telemarketing, Face to Face, mail and emerging channels, with a strong focus on channel mix optimisation and effective attribution.
· Drive evolution in committed giving, supporting both regular and single gift models. Whilst our regular giving model is well established, work is needed with key stakeholders on developing effective models for repeat single giving for the greatest net life-time value.
· Drive best-in-class acquisition practices across all channels, working in close collaboration with channel specialists (e.g., digital, Face to Face, telemarketing) to ensure strategic alignment, knowledge sharing, and consistent optimisation of performance across the full acquisition funnel.
· Strengthen humanitarian acquisition readiness, working in partnership with the Humanitarian Fundraising Lead ensure compelling emergency content and rapid mobilisation strategies are in place, as well as effective journeys towards committed giving to our organization.
· Ensure DRTV excellence and evolution, by driving best practice, coordinating a global community of practice, facilitating shared production of adverts, and exploring opportunities in connected TV (CTV) working in closely collaboration with our digital specialists and global content unit.
· Explore and test new and re-emerging channels, including offline methods such as cold mail and telemarketing, to diversify acquisition and unlock new growth opportunities.
· Provide hands-on strategic and operational support to priority markets, working in close partnership with local fundraising leadership to build capacity and capability across key acquisition channels. This includes defining joint objectives and tailored support plans, skill-sharing, and co-development of strategies to accelerate growth, without assuming direct market oversight.
· Monitor global performance and trends, working with the Insights team to analyse acquisition data, track sector benchmarks, and identify opportunities for optimisation and innovation.
· Support cost-effectiveness and LTV modelling, helping members implement robust lifetime value frameworks and tackle rising acquisition costs through smarter targeting and strategy.
· Foster a vibrant Acquisition and Individual Giving community, co-managing a global network of acquisition specialists to share best practices, build capacity, and drive collective learning.
· Influence across the movement, acting as a senior thought leader and trusted advisor to Fundraising Directors, Heads of IG, and global stakeholders, with visibility across a significant portion of the global acquisition budget.
· Collaborate closely with the Head of Integration and our Content, Brand and Communications staff to ensure we are aligning around a fundraising first full funnel strategy maximise fundraising outcomes and ensure a seamless supporter experience.
· Lead key global initiatives within acquisition or cross-cutting fundraising areas as required, helping drive forward our collective strategy and shared priorities across the movement
Experience and Skills
Essential
1. Significant experience (minimum 5+ years) in strategic leadership roles in large fundraising organisations.
2. Experience of leading the development and implementation of large-scale donor acquisition strategies and strategic initiatives that require deep stakeholder engagement in complex international organisations.
3. Excellent skills across a variety of different acquisition programmes/channels, including DRTV, F2F, telemarketing and digital, including vendor and account management.
4. Ability to analyse complex data sets across multiple channels and markets to identify actionable insights. Adept at understanding market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
5. Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships and work effectively in a multicultural and multi-ethnic environment respecting diversity.
6. Strong personal organisational and self-management skills with the ability to lead and work in teams and to motivate others.
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Additional language skills in one or more of our members' working languages would be an asset.
Education and Qualifications
· A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Non profit Management, or related and/or equivalent relevant experience to a senior level.
· Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fundraising software. Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and data analysis tools.
· Language Proficiency: Excellent written and spoken English. Proficiency in additional languages is beneficial.
