The role/ responsibilities:

In recent years, the charity has experienced significant growth—supporting more children, partnering with leading hospitals, and attracting a growing number of dedicated supporters. 

The Head of Partnerships and Events will oversee the charities growing portfolio of special fundraising events. You will cultivate strong relationships with supporters who organise events in aid of Noah’s Ark, while proactively identifying gaps in their event offering to ensure a diverse and engaging programme that appeals to a wide range of existing and potential donors.

• To create a supportive, cohesive and aspirational culture where the team are motivated to meet and exceed targets and recognise their contribution to the organisational objectives and strategy

• To ensure that all relationships with partners are maximised and stewarded to the highest standards

• To facilitate the Philanthropy & Corporate Committee, supporting its members in playing their part to raise funds for the charity and in building a network of supporters new to the charity

• To develop the overall Partnerships and Events team strategy and; delivering against agreed KPIs and ensuring that the strategy, plans and activity directly supports the delivery of Fundraising & Communication – and organisational – objectives
• To play a key role in the success of annual matching funding campaigns, most especially the recruitment of corporate partners as campaign Champions
• To create annual income and expenditure budgets for Partnerships income streams, effectively overseeing and controlling their delivery through monthly and quarterly monitoring
• To provide monthly and quarterly commentary for Director of Fundraising & Communications to inform regular Trustee Board reports

About you:

• Proven experience in corporate and partnership fundraising, with a strong track record of increasing income.

• Excellent relationship-building skills, demonstrated through securing significant gifts via face-to-face meetings, phone conversations, and email—always prioritising an outstanding supporter experience.

• Skilled in developing and executing strategic fundraising plans, translating them into actionable operational plans with clear KPIs and risk management.

• Experienced in budget management, including setting, monitoring, and delivering against budgets, reporting on KPIs, identifying variances, and reforecasting as needed.

• Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and motivating a fundraising team through effective line management, supervision, and staff development.

• Outstanding time management and organisational skills, with a proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently.

We are looking for someone who is outgoing and enthusiastic to join our Supporter Care team, who will carry out essential supporter engagement and administrative activities associated with marketing campaigns, donations, fundraising events and requests for materials. With previous experience of providing excellent customer service, you will have the ability and confidence to communicate with a variety of people, engaging with supporters by phone, email and in writing about a wide range of enquiries. 

The Supporter Care team at Alzheimer’s Research UK is often the first point of contact in the charity for supporters, potential donors and members of the public. The Supporter Care Administrator works alongside five other team Executives handling supporter enquiries, processing donations, and thanking supporters to ensure an excellent standard of customer care and to generate the maximum amount of income for dementia research. This role reports to the Senior Supporter Care Officer (SSCO) and ensures that the team successfully deliver an efficient and a first-class supporter experience for the charity.

This role will be known internally as Supporter Care Executive*

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Supporter engagement

· Answering inbound telephone calls; responding to a wide range of enquiries including marketing campaigns, donations, fundraising events and requests for materials.

· Managing email enquiries, either by responding or forwarding as necessary.

· Responding to written enquiries received in the post.

· Making outbound telephone calls in order to increase the value of, or to retain supporters; including thanking, obtaining Gift Aid declarations and reactivating lapsed donors.

· Recording feedback received by the charity and assisting in the resolution of complaints.

· Champion high quality supporter care, ensuring that all supporters and members of the public have an excellent experience when contacting the charity.

Donation processing, database and general administration

· Processing donations from telephone calls and mailings, acknowledging supporters appropriately.

· In Memoriam giving; sending out materials, processing donations and sending appropriate acknowledgements to donors, Funeral Directors, and the Next of Kin.

· Regular giving; processing new Direct Debit instructions and Standing Order payments, amending and cancelling gifts as necessary.

· Processing and thanking donations relating to regional fundraising and sporting events.

· Ensuring the integrity of the database (currently Salesforce), by amending supporter details as necessary.

· Opening and batching incoming post.

· Updating team procedures as required.

· Archiving, scanning and filing documents.

What we are looking for:

· Experience of working in a customer facing role.

· Experience of handling queries and complaints.

· Confidence working with computers – good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and CRM databases.

· Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

· Engaging and professional telephone manner.

Ways of working:  As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

About Now Teach 

Now Teach is at a pivotal time in its strategic journey, following a hugely successful media and bridging fundraising campaign that has raised over £3m in new income for 2024-2026 and achieved 32 media mentions (15 national) and 2.5m PR views. We are now seeking to significantly grow our donor base and fundraised income and therefore are looking to recruit to this new role. We are seeking someone who can support the Director of Philanthropy and Communications to deliver our strategy to increase income through the recruitment of new donors and enable and deliver work with our current funders (primarily individuals and trusts). You’ll be the person to ensure they have an amazing experience as supporters of Now Teach.

Role overview 

This role will be varied and offer lots of opportunities to get stuck into managing relationships with high value donors. Both the CEO, and the Director of Fundraising and Communications will work to steward the relationships with our donors in person, while this role will lead on delivering high-quality preparation, proposals, reporting, and data management that underpin donor relationships. You will also contribute to building connections across teams and aligning fundraising activities with Now Teach’s wider strategy. 

You’ll deliver exciting and engaging communications and events which inspire our donors to continue to support our cause, as well as be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting so we can give supporters a great sense of the impact their donations make. This role will work on a combination of externally facing and internal projects and tasks and will be a great way to advance your career in fundraising.

In this role you will…

• Create and maintain a stewardship calendar of content, reports, and events to engage our donors, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities. 

• Write and produce proposals and applications for funding from major donors and trusts, in collaboration with programme and recruitment teams, championing user-centred thinking by representing participant and school impact in fundraising materials. 

• Write and produce reports with in-depth detail of what we have achieved as a result of the funding from our donors 

• Create an engaging termly supporter newsletter, sharing insights across the organisation to drive stronger engagement.

Significant opportunity

The Role;

• Provide a caring, safe, secure and accepting environment that meets the physical, health, social needs and rights of the young people. This will include supporting less experienced staff via positive and effective teamwork to achieve high quality standards of care that are set and agreed by the Registered Manager on behalf of the Trust. This work will aim to respect and promote the needs of each young person arising from their racial, cultural and religious background.
• Assist with the assessments of need and formulation of plans. This involves working in partnerships with other agencies and taking into account the wishes and feelings of the young people, their parents and other persons with parental responsibility, in line with legislation pertaining to the young people.
• Maximise educational opportunities and achievements for the young people looked after within the unit by assisting in identifying, establishing and supporting educational provision and contributing to educational reviews.
• Undertake primary responsibility for key working at least one young person of a more complex nature.
• Undertake the supervision of less experienced residential staff and/or ancillary staff in accordance with Together Trust Policies & Procedures as directed by the Registered Manager.
• Assist with the planning and preparation of the shift rotas.

• QCF(NVQ level 3) in health and social care (CCYP) or equivalent or willingness to achieve award within timescales set by trust

The Mission Associate role we are looking to fill will involve ministering in the Pan-London Schools Team with a focus on Children, Youth and Schools (CYS). 

You would be joining LCM at an exciting time as we take forward our new five-year strategy. Our aim over the next five years is to see 150 new missional teams established in churches across London. These missional teams are groups of church members who “own” outreach to a particular group, are recognised by the leadership, and pray for each other, using their varied gifts regularly to minister to that group. We pray that, together by 2029, these teams will be part of 25,000 gospel conversations within communities where Jesus Christ isn't known.

Our Mission Associates are wholly committed followers of Jesus who bring their passion and skills to contribute to the work of our teams, helping to research the mission needs of an area, supporting networking with churches, helping to train and equip church volunteers in practical evangelism, or helping churches develop their mission work. About the role:

Battersea is entering an exciting phase of innovation and transformation as we embark on the first year of our new five-year strategy. With increased investment in income generation starting in 2025, we are expanding our team to drive the growth necessary to achieve our organisational goals. Main purpose of the role:

This is a new role working within Battersea’s Income Generation department to develop and deliver the campaign plan for a £4-6million pound capital fundraising appeal.

One of the key pillars of Battersea’s current strategy is to ensure that we continue to provide expert care for all the dogs and cats that come through our gates. One of the ways in which we do this is by investing in our facilities to ensure that they continue to meet the changing needs of the animals we care for. This fundraising campaign will help to achieve that aim.

You will work with teams across Battersea to develop a comprehensive plan for the campaign and co-ordinate the work of multiple specialist teams to deliver the campaign on a day-to-day basis. You will also be responsible for developing a clear governance structure for the campaign, and ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed of progress. You will also oversee and track progress of a series of internal process improvements that support the running of the campaign.

Please note, this is not a direct fundraising position, but will support our fundraising teams in delivering ambitious financial targets for the appeal.
