Summary of the role:
The Director of Income Generation & Marketing will lead the design and delivery of an ambitious, innovative, and sustainable income generation and marketing strategy. This role is responsible for significantly growing Muslim Aid’s financial resources, enhancing its brand presence in the UK and internationally, and expanding its footprint in new and emerging economic markets, ensuring all activity is firmly aligned to Muslim Aid’s mission and values.
The Director will drive high impact fundraising initiatives across multiple channels, working closely with Country Directors, global teams, and other SLT colleagues to unlock new funding opportunities, diversity income streams and maximise donor engagement. They will cultivate strategic partnerships with corporate, institutional, and philanthropic stakeholders, while ensuring the highest standards of compliance, governance, and ethical fundraising practice.

About the Role:
- Lead the development and delivery of a bold, multi-channel income generation strategy planning philanthropy, digital, institutional, corporate, and brand led campaigns that drives ambitious, measurable growth and long-term sustainability.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead on the launch of a new RG proposition and ensure that the onboarding and onward journey is fit for purpose.
- Look for opportunities to thank our donors and communicate impact at key moments.
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure we grow our Regular Giving file, through acquisition as well as retention.
- Manage a variety of individual giving fundraising campaigns, from agency briefing, through to launch, meeting six figure campaign targets.
- Work with digital fundraising colleagues to create integrated, multichannel campaigns and an effective, donor-first giving journey.
- Remain flexible and rapidly respond to emergency situations.
- Work with the Data team to identify the best approach to data and segmentation for each project.
- Manage production processes, developing supplier briefs and managing approval stages and end of campaign reviews.
- Manage donor research and mystery shopping as required, using insights to inform creative decisions.
- Manage campaign fulfilment. Monitor responses to identify issues and opportunities.
- From time-to-time support with Donor Care activities if required.
- Ensure cost effective fundraising, manage individual campaign budgets and identify opportunities to improve ROIs.
- Stay up to date with issues affecting displaced & refugee communities, campaigns from international teams and reports from the field. Scope new fundraising themes.
- Share creative and insights with UK colleagues, global markets and HQ, participating in training seminars, workshops and international skill shares where applicable.

About the team
The Media team strategically leads on both proactive and reactive media, supporting WaterAid’s fundraising, partnerships, brand awareness and political influencing & systems change strategic priorities. The team are responsible for outreach to a range of media in the UK and globally – across traditional, consumer and digital.
The team works with Country Programmes and work on global media outreach with WaterAid Member Offices, operate a 24/7 media hotline and manages areas of reputational risk.
The Media Team consists primarily of 4 functions – News, PR, Celebrity Ambassador, and Global News. The Interim role would manage a team of 11 people and three direct line reports. The Celebrity Ambassador function sits within the team but line management of the Celebrity & Influencer Lead is with the Global & UK Director of Communications.

The Role
As Global Head of Finance, you will lead a small, dedicated international team, overseeing strategic financial planning, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance across UK and US entities.
You’ll play a key role on the Fund’s management team, ensuring financial integrity, promoting sustainable growth, and partnering across functions to embed strong financial practices organisation-wide.

The Direct Marketing Manager at CBM UK is a vital role and has responsibility for delivering CBM UKs digital and direct marketing plans to engage and inspire individual supporters and churches to support the work of CBM.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, as part of the Public Fundraising team, the role holder will be responsible for the management and development of two Marketing Officers. Through digital and direct marketing, the Public Fundraising team are responsible for raising over £3m of unrestricted income from cultivation, acquisition, mid-value donors, regular giving, legacies and churches.
Key responsibilities
Fundraising campaign management (40%)
Manage the effective implementation of the annual public fundraising plan, ensuring that all activity is of a high standard, and delivered on time and to budget:
a. Oversee cultivation fundraising appeals primarily carried out through direct mail and email, leading on the continued development of mass fundraising to engage both existing and potential supporters, including high donors, regular givers and church communities.

What you’ll be doing …
We are looking for a strategic and proactive fundraiser to lead the launch and delivery of a capital campaign to refurbish our Grade II* listed Lecture Theatre at Burlington House - a flagship project to enhance accessibility, sustainability and the visitor experience at the heart of our historic home.
Alongside this, you will support income generation across a range of charitable programmes, including education, outreach and member engagement, helping to grow both restricted and unrestricted income and strengthen the Society’s long-term supporter base.
This is a highly collaborative role focused on delivery. You will lead day-to-day campaign activity, with particular emphasis on individual giving, donor engagement and external communications. You will also play a key role in building the systems, processes and approaches that will underpin future fundraising success, supporting the Society’s wider ambition to grow income and resilience over the next decade.

Overall responsibilities / requirements ...
- Lead the capital fundraising campaign for the refurbishment of our Grade II* listed Lecture Theatre, driving income growth through individual giving, corporate partnerships and trust funding.
- Generate income to support our education and outreach campaigns, working collaboratively with colleagues in education, outreach and communications to engage a broad range of supporters.
- Shape compelling cases for support and deliver segmented donor communications that resonate with different audience groups.
- Strengthen internal fundraising infrastructure by improving systems, processes and reporting, ensuring the Society is well-positioned for future income growth.
- Support the Director of Membership & Development by preparing briefing materials, contributing to proposals, and identifying prospects for large gifts or grants.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and reporting related to campaign activity.
- Liaise with external suppliers, funders and design/marketing support as required.
What we’re looking for …
Essential
- Proven experience in a senior fundraising role, ideally within a charity, cultural or education focused setting.
- Demonstrated success delivering capital appeals and/or public fundraising campaigns.
- Track record of securing donations from individuals, major donors, companies and/or trusts.
- Experience developing and implementing fundraising strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
- Organised, self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Understanding of establishing individual giving methods, including regular giving, legacy fundraising and digital channels.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (ideally Dynamics 365).
- Knowledge of fundraising regulation, GDPR and best practice in donor data handling.
Desirable
- Experience working on heritage, science or education-related campaigns.
- Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders, volunteers or boards/committees.
- Member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.

We're looking for a Head of Individual Giving & Legacies to lead our talented teams and drive significant income growth through multi-channel marketing and supporter engagement. This role plays a vital part in the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association's fundraising strategy, with responsibility for developing innovative approaches, managing a substantial income budget, and delivering an exceptional experience for our donors, supporters and those leaving gifts in
You'll oversee a committed team, working collaboratively across the organisation and with external partners. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who brings strategic insight, strong leadership, and a track record in growing income in Individual Giving and/or Legacy fundraising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of the Individual Giving and Legacies multi-channel strategy to achieve ambitious income targets.
- Support, develop, and manage a high-performing team.
- Identify and assess new opportunities for growth, leading associated business cases and change processes.
- Oversee supplier and agency relationships, ensuring campaigns are delivered effectively and within budget.
- Work with an external Legacy Administration LLP to ensure gifts in Wills are administered promptly, in line with delegated responsibilities.
- Collaborate across teams to support shared goals and deliver an engaging supporter journey.
- Work with the Data & Insight and Finance teams to understand campaign performance and monitoring key metrics.
- Promote best practice in supporter experience, audience segmentation and journey planning.
- Manage an income budget of approximately £15 million.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, incorporating changes as needed.
- Contribute to relevant management groups and support the wider leadership team.
