In this job, you will play a vital role in driving up awareness of the Mental Health Charter with businesses, organisations, and service providers across the borough of Barnet.
To begin with, you’ll use your organisational and project management skills to work with the steering group to create an action plan. With their support, you’ll use your operational communications experience to work with all partners to develop and create presentations and other promotional materials, such as flyers and posters. You will also take photos at engagement activities for partners to promote the project on their respective social media platforms.
Then, using your excellent interpersonal skills you will build on existing relationships with key stakeholders and create new ones. Travelling around the borough of Barnet you will proactively approach, encourage and support a diverse audience of businesses, organisations, and service providers to make pledges to the charter and later follow up on their progress.
On a day to day basis, you will record activities against key performance indicators, accurately record and analyse feedback using surveys and data management tools.
Additionally, you will organise and attend monthly Steering Group meetings following key project management principles to report on the overall progress of the project against targets.
Done right, this role with strengthen services and mental health awareness in Barnet. To succeed, you’ll need strong communications skills and you’ll be a natural relationship builder. Job Summary
- Serve as an integral member of Soi Dog’s Senior Leadership Team, actively participating in leadership duties, and contributing to the charity’s strategic and budget planning.
- Lead the creation, implementation, and management of the strategy and associated plans for International Fundraising, Marketing, and Communications, including active day-to-day involvement in all activity.
- Manage and lead the International Fundraising and Marketing teams, ensuring they meet predefined objectives and targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides leadership for all international fundraising, marketing and communications strategy and plans by:
Planning and Management:
- Provide strong leadership and direct line management to the International Fundraising and Marketing team to sustain, develop and grow fundraising, marketing and other initiatives to maximise income and build engagement and brand loyalty from new and existing supporters.
- Develop and manage the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications strategy and associated plans to meet ambitious targets.
- Prepare and present reports on progress, income and expenditure to the International CEO and the International Board.
- Be aware of current legislations, technologies and trends that will benefit the charity.
- Close monitoring of international fundraising income across all sources, and managing the international fundraising and marketing departmental budgets.
- Procure and manage external suppliers and third parties.
- Ongoing risk management and mitigation, escalating risks to the International CEO where appropriate.
Brand and Marketing:
- Develop and lead on the marketing and communications strategies to expand Soi Dog’s reach and increase global awareness and engagement amongst our target audiences with a multi-channel approach.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and brand across all content including social media, digital and press releases.
- Continue to develop the strategy to proactively secure international press and PR opportunities to build brand awareness.
- Co-ordinate an integrated cross-departmental approach with Visual Creative Director and other teams including, Adoptions, Thai Fundraising and external contractors.
Fundraising:
- Lead the development of strategic plans and initiatives, in collaboration with the Senior Management Team and colleagues, to generate additional revenue streams, and grow existing, for the charity.
- Continuously review and seek new major giving opportunities across philanthropy, Trusts and Foundations and corporate partnerships.
- Ensure the team submits robust and timely applications for grants, and provide excellent ongoing stewardship including thanking and impact reports.
- Execute innovative and creative targeted digital fundraising campaigns across various social media platforms to drive donations.
- Oversee all fundraising activity and be the point of sign off for all communications and outgoing campaigns.
- Cultivate existing relationships with long-standing supporters to maintain stability in regular giving.
- Expand networks and maintaining regular communication with philanthropists, major gift donors, and prospects to establish strong relationships and negotiate ongoing opportunities for support and partnerships.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and contractors to optimise return on investment.
- Ensure accurate and timely income projections and reports, fostering a culture of performance and ambition.
- Keep up to date and comply with current Fundraising legislation and standards of each country and/or regions.
Skills and Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior fundraising and marketing role, with a track record of meeting substantial targets and managing multi-million-dollar income and expenditure budgets.
- Outstanding and demonstrable track record of developing and successfully implementing fundraising strategies across a broad range of income streams.
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of marketing and communication strategy and implementation.
- Substantial experience of developing individual giving and philanthropy programmes, specifically through digital channels, to drive growth, engagement and long-term value.
- Extensive networking and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic, proactive and ambitious thinker with the ability to motivate and inspire teams, lead on initiatives and engage and build loyalty with stakeholders and supporters.

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is a world-leading cancer centre. They offer patients the best cancer care available anywhere in the world, and continue to make a global contribution to finding better ways of diagnosing and treating cancer.
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust offers a hybrid working pattern, with an expectation of working from their Chelsea office 2 days per week, and travel to Sutton as required.
The Publications and Communications Officer will play a key role in helping the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity achieve its objectives. You will help raise awareness of the Charity within the hospital as well as locally, nationally, and internationally by demonstrating the difference the Charity makes to people affected by cancer, and support fundraising teams across all its income streams to attract and retain supporters. You will work directly with the hospital’s world leading clinicians to secure clinical spokespeople for the Charity’s communications and to help tell the story of how the Charity helps to save and improve the lives of people with cancer, not just at The Royal Marsden, but nationally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build relationships with clinical colleagues and in particular, Charity-funded consultants, nurses, researchers, and allied health professionals to gain their support for Charity communications including press releases, tailored pitches, our suite of magazines, and other print media channels.
· Write and edit the Charity’s bi-monthly e-newsletter in collaboration with the wider PR and Comms team, and the Charity’s Marketing and Digital team.
· With support from the Senior PR and Communications Officer, write and edit the Charity’s supporter magazine Progress in collaboration with the wider Communications team and the Charity’s Heads and Associate Directors.
· In collaboration with the Trust Internal Communications Manager, promote The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity to 4,500 hospital staff, to help drive greater awareness of the Charity and its work across the hospital.
· Support the Senior PR and Communications Officer in advising on PR and communications for the Charity’s corporate partners, including liaising with external PR agencies and partners’ in-house teams.
· Working alongside the Senior PR and Communications Officer, identify and maximise opportunities to promote the Charity’s funding of life-saving research, modern patient environments and state-of-the-art equipment in the hospital, working closely with colleagues to ensure any Charity funding is appropriately referenced.
Person Specification:
· Relevant media relations / copy writing / communications experience – former employment with a charity, ideally within the healthcare sector.
· Proven track record of delivering beautifully written, compelling copy across all online and offline channels, in the right tone and to deadline.
· Experience of working across multi-disciplinary teams encompassing all communications channels - social media, traditional and third sector media, internal communications.
· Excellent communications skills both verbal and written – including editing, proofing, copy writing and interview techniques.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities at any one time whilst remaining calm under pressure, and able to combine a proactive approach with quick reactive delivery.
· Experience of managing stakeholders both within and outside an organisation, of all levels.

Job Description
As the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing various financial aspects within our organisation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role will require a strong understanding of gift aid compliance, legislative changes, and financial account management. Additionally, you will act as the subject matter expert for finance systems and serve as a backup for the Finance Manager when necessary.
The Finance Officer is part of the All Souls staff team supporting the church's ministry, being part of team fellowship and prayer groups. The staff, church officers and wider church family work together to deliver our vision and, as we do so, we can live out our Christian beliefs in every aspect of the daily life of the church. Responsibilities
- Accurately submit gift aid claims to HMRC for all charities under our organisation, ensuring adherence to regulations and guidelines.
- Keep abreast of legislative changes from HMRC related to gift aid and ensure all charities comply with the latest requirements.
- Oversee bank and investment accounts, liaising with banks and ensuring smooth information flow between the bank and charity trustees. Prepare monthly reconciliations for active bank accounts, SOLDO cards, Credit cards etc.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for finance systems, overseeing the testing and implementation of new giving platforms, and providing setup and training for the team.
- Manage and train the Finance Admin Assistant to maintain a high standard of performance and development within the team.

Job Profile
The post is a pivotal role in CAFOD’s Asia & Middle East (AME) team supporting the Head of Region in the management and co-ordination of regional programming and organisational processes ensuring smooth administration, programme cycle management and communications. The post holder will be responsible for building effective working relationships with peers in the International Programme Group, as well as with colleagues across CAFOD such as funding, finance, and communications. They will act as the AME focal point for communications, supporting programme teams to develop materials for internal and external audiences.

Key Responsibilities
The scope of the post falls into the following broad functions:

We are looking for an experienced Membership Manager who will help us manage all aspects of our membership programme. This involves maintaining high levels of retention and developing and delivering new recruitment strategies for members across the world.

- Actively contribute to leading Medical Aid for Palestinians as a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT).
- Work closely with the SMT to ensure that appropriate processes and systems are in place across the organisation, including delivery against KPIs.
- Attend and actively participate in MAP’s Board meetings and relevant Board Committee meetings providing updates, necessary reports, and feedback on MAP’s fundraising and marketing.

Fundraising
- Lead the development and delivery of an ambitious and data driven fundraising strategy across a range of income streams to successfully deliver MAP’s new five-year vision.
- Build and inspire a high-performing and results-oriented Fundraising Team focused on delivering sustainable income to maintain and build on recent organisational growth.
- Ensure that MAP’s fundraising is supported by appropriate business/activity plans, and sound financial plans and budgets; and that performance is regularly monitored and evaluated against plans and budgets.
- Set, monitor, and deliver annual income and expenditure targets.
- Foster a culture of ambition and innovation and support the team to research, develop, and implement new fundraising approaches to recruit new donor groups across all income streams.
- Drive change and implement new ways of working across fundraising and the wider organisation in support of fundraising effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with key supporters and stakeholders and attend meetings and networking events to unlock new opportunities.
- Strengthen and build on existing supporter relationships, ensuring that all supporters receive a first-class experience.

Fundraising Development
- Work with the Head of Individual Giving to deliver and implement a strategy which prioritises both the retention and acquisition of new donors, enhances the use of digital products, platforms, and channels and delivers the highest standard of supporter care and donor stewardship.
- Work with relevant colleagues to deliver a new strategy and plan which prioritises deepening and strengthening existing relationships and building a strong pipeline of new prospects to deliver multi-year funding from major donors, high profile supporters, trusts, foundations, and companies.
- Lead the adoption and use of a newly installed Microsoft Dynamics CRM to effectively support data-driven decision making and relationship management to generate supporter insights in support of increased fundraising.
- With the CEO and SMT, agree and invest in a scaled-up approach to fundraising internationally.
Brand and Marketing
- Working in collaboration with the Director of Advocacy and Communications, lead the development and delivery of an integrated marketing and communications strategy that is driven by audience insight.
- Build and inspire a high-performing and results-oriented Marketing Team to build a community of supporters by delivering a seamless supporter journey that promotes MAP’s work and delivers greater income generation.
- Ensure our brand and identity are strong and supported by authentic high-quality messaging, delivering integrated campaigns across all our channels that turn increased recognition into active support for MAP’s work.
- Increase brand awareness and brand attribution, creating an authentic and compelling voice for MAP which centres on Palestinian voices, including the voices of the people MAP serves.
- Empower teams across MAP to successfully deploy our brand.
- Work in partnership with the Director of Advocacy and Communications to ensure content is up to date, factually accurate and to manage reputational risk.

The Role
The Foundation are looking for an excellent Head of Foundation to provide strategic leadership over a period of 15-18 months.
This role assumes overall responsibility for the Wimbledon Foundation, its strategic direction and all activities. This position is a key appointment, and the role holder will lead the Foundation team, work closely with the Trustees, and build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. Following a significant period of change the Foundation is celebrating it’s 10-year anniversary and implementing a new strategy.
The Person
We are looking for an individual with a real passion for making a difference to those living in disadvantaged communities and the drive to build on Foundation achievements to date, in the local area and further afield. A flair for communication in a variety of settings would go a long way, together with the ability to maintain a strong team.
Key attributes include:
- A proven track record of strategic thinking and ability to see the whole picture, as well as close attention to detail.
- You will have significant, relevant experience in a charity, community or grant making organisation at senior management level, including administration of the allocation of charitable funds.
- A solid understanding, and knowledge of, Charity law and governance.
- Experience in effectively leading a team, establishing and leading community related programmes, working with local authorities, schools and charities.
