We're seeking a focused and proactive Fundraising Development Advisor to help drive our mission forward. This role goes beyond raising funds; it’s about providing guidance and support to the people behind a wide range of charitable causes and activities.
We’re looking for someone who can provide hands-on fundraising support to voluntary and community groups throughout Wiltshire. In this dynamic role, you’ll work closely with a wide range of inspiring organisations, helping them operate more effectively and sustainably by offering tailored guidance, identifying funding opportunities, and connecting them with the right resources and partnerships.
You’ll also play a central role internally, working alongside our CEO to drive forward Wessex Community Action’s own fundraising goals, helping us grow our impact and build strong, collaborative relationships across the sector.
Key responsibilities include:
· Providing advice, guidance and support to new and established charities, community groups and social enterprises on areas including fundraising, income diversification and grant applications.
· Developing tools and resources to support others, including the production of regular, fundraising focused communications.
· Leading on the development and delivery of a regional Fundraisers Network.
· Collaborating with the CEO in developing and implementing strategic fundraising plans and initiatives that advance the mission of Wessex Community Action.
· Working with other community asset-based organisations to identify opportunities for best practice and collaborative working around building resilient, sustainable and thriving communities and services.

Are you a compassionate and dedicated nurse with a passion for palliative care? We are looking for a Senior Nurse to join our North West London team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by dying, death, and bereavement.
As a Senior Nurse, you will manage a team of Registered Nurses, Nurse Associates, and Healthcare Assistants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality palliative care services. You will support the Clinical Nurse Manager in promoting a positive working environment and oversee the provision, supervision, coordination, and quality review of clinical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on care and act as a professional role model.
- Develop and implement best practice initiatives.
- Coordinate patient activity and ensure high standards of care.
- Manage staffing levels, budgets, and resources.
- Lead and support the team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.

We're looking for a Democracy Coordinator to help support and grow Arts SU's democratic spaces. You'll play a key role in making sure students are involved, informed and empowered through forums, elections and other democratic activities. You'll oversee our Ideas Platform and work closely with sabbatical officers and teams across UAL to keep these spaces student-led and relevant. You'll also be the operational lead for our student elections - from technical set-up to support candidates and making sure everything runs fairly and transparently. You'll help develop policies, run training sessions, promote democratic engagement, and be the go-to person for students with questions about how the SU represents students. It's a varied role that puts students at the hear of decision-making while making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

We are looking for an experienced People Administrator to join our team on a permanent basis. This role offers a great opportunity to join a small busy team providing an excellent administrative service to support the People and Governance team and Bristol SU as a whole.
Reporting directly to the People Manager, this is a dual-administration role, which requires a candidate to be confident and willing to handle both general, and payroll-related administration, for which full training will be provided. For clarity, the payroll administration aspect of the role does not involve any specialist payroll processing, the requirement is to collate basic payroll-related information accurately from within our people systems to send on to a payroll provider for processing.
The role requires an individual with excellent attention to detail, good communication, sound time management skills, as well as having an approachable, flexible and can-do attitude to work. Strong skills in basic Excel are also required for the role. We are seeking an experienced Administrator who is self-motivated, highly organised and who, once trained, will work on their own initiative. About the role
As our Compliance Specialist, you will play a central role in ensuring that CIUK operates with integrity and confidence in a complex global environment. Reporting to the Risk and Internal Audit Manager, you will be the organisation’s lead expert on compliance — from charity law and fundraising regulations to data protection and anti-financial crime measures.
This is both a strategic and hands-on position. You will advise senior leaders and trustees on regulatory obligations while working closely with teams across the organisation to embed a proactive culture of compliance. Purpose of post
By instruction and in partnership with the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) the Programme Director will manage and coordinate the operational areas of VFCC based on company policies, goals, and objectives to ensure an efficient working environment and that deadlines are met. This is an excellent opportunity to join our busy Finance team and develop your skills in one of the UK’s leading conservation charities. This role arises in order to support the Finance Systems Replacement project which is a Board priority and a major digital change project.
In order to facilitate this we are looking for additional support in our Financial Control Team. We are looking for a strong technical professional, whose financial expertise and specialist knowledge are a given. The main purpose of the role is to provide technical financial accounting support, with a focus on, but not limited to VAT, gift aid and corporation tax, preparation of statutory accounts, to ensure that RSPB and its related group entities comply with a range of regulatory and external stakeholder reporting requirements and specific project requirements related to the implementation of the new finance system.
What's the role about?
You will be part of a team of professionals reporting to the Financial & Treasury Controller.
As part of a team of 5 your main duties will be to:
- Deal with VAT, Gift Aid and corporation tax enquiries, produce returns, etc.
- Be involved in the preparation of the Trustees’ Report and Accounts (including subsidiary and related entities); This involves co-ordinating input from the wider Finance team as well as liaison with the Communications and Corporate Governance and Risk teams to provide an integrated narrative that clearly articulates RSPB’s impact and the challenges it faces.
- Liaise and provide information to internal and external audit.
- Help manage and reconcile the fixed asset system with particular focus on getting the fixed asset data ready for accurate transfer to new finance system.
- Financial analysis and technical reporting including government statistics returns

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Fully qualified accountant or part qualified in final year of exams.
- Good working knowledge of the rules, regulations and standards in respect of tax legislation (VAT and Gift Aid), preferably for the charity sector.
- Good working knowledge of the rules, regulations and standards in respect of financial reporting (Accounting standards and company law) preferably for the charity sector.
- Ability to analyse, interpret and communicate financial data.
- Ability to communicate financial information to both a finance and non-finance audience.
- Experience within a medium sized organisation (Income £50m+) of preparing reports/returns for external stakeholders including Tax returns (VAT, Gift Aid and corporation tax), Annual Reports and Annual Returns (Charity Commission, Government agencies).
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience of accounting software within a medium sized organisation.
