Salary: £28,869 – £30,907 per annum (pro rata)
Reporting to: Rainbow Mind Therapeutic Services Manager
Base: The Angel Centre, Salford M3 (Hybrid working is appropriate for this role)

Rainbow Mind Greater Manchester (A service delivered by Mind in Salford) is an LGBTQIA+ led service delivering community mental health interventions across Greater Manchester. Rainbow Mind provides a range of innovative services for LGBTQIA+ people and has collaborations and engagement with a diverse range of local and national LGBTQIA+ organisations that support cultural, gender, sexuality, and relationship diversity relevant services.

Rainbow Mind services engage with local and diverse communities and we are committed to offer support and respect to anyone facing a mental health problem. The organisation offers opportunities for learning and development and supports a collaborative and creative working environment. Our overarching mission is to champion for LGBTQIA+ mental health and to redress the disparity in inequalities the community experience across Greater Manchester and England wide.

Role Overview:

Rainbow Mind Greater Manchester is looking for a passionate and proactive Delivery & Development Coordinator with relevant lived experience to help shape and deliver inclusive mental health support for LGBTQIA+ communities.

In this dynamic role, you’ll assist on leading communications, outreach, and service development, while coordinating client assessments and strengthening partnerships across the region. Your insight will help drive continuous improvement, ensuring our services are responsive, impactful, and community-led.

Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience

  • Deep understanding of the Greater Manchester LGBTQIA+ landscape, including grassroots groups, charities and local dynamics.
  • Track record of working in community development, service growth or partnership-building roles within the third sector.
  • Confident communicator with experience promoting services through both digital and face-to-face engagement.
  • High level of data literacy, with experience using CRM systems to support monitoring and evaluation.
  • Comfortable working independently and bringing forward ideas and initiatives for service development.
  • Experience in safeguarding, risk management and handling sensitive or complex client presentations.
  • Strong lived experience within the LGBTQIA+ community and ability to apply this to work with sensitivity and authenticity.
