International Programmes Investor Engagement Lead

We are looking for an International Programmes Investor Engagement Lead to join the team, in this part-time, hybrid-working role.

Position: International Programmes Investor Engagement Lead

Location: London/Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the office)

Hours: Part-time, 0.8 FTE, 4 days per week with flexibility

Salary: £58,177 per annum, pro rata

The Role

We are looking for someone to support the growth of the international "Connect and Scale" programmes, including Powering Clean Energy Investment, Transforming Humanitarian Energy Access, and Thriving Forests, which focus on strengthening and scaling inclusive climate solutions in the Global South, with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa.

You will report to the Head of International Programmes, and work with internal and external stakeholders supporting the international programmes.

As Investor Engagement Lead in the International Programmes team, you will:

• Shape and deliver investor engagement strategies that unlock funding for the international programme participants.
• Build strong relationships with investors, funders and partners, and lead the design of roundtables, webinars and pitch sessions to connect them with grassroots climate enterprises.
• Support Global South enterprises to strengthen their investment readiness, including the strategic use of development grants and technical assistance.
• Innovate in blended finance and impact investment solutions, working closely with colleagues and partners to create new funding pathways for climate-positive initiatives.
• Play a pivotal role in delivering the 2025–2030 strategy to leverage finance for inclusive clean energy and nature-based solutions.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in impact and social investment, ideally in climate, clean energy, or international development.
• Skilled at building and managing relationships with diverse investors and funders, and at structuring deals that unlock capital for high-impact enterprises.
• Knowledgeable about climate finance, decentralised renewable energy, and the challenges and opportunities in Global South markets.
• A strategic thinker and excellent communicator, able to thrive in a collaborative, evolving environment.
• Willing to travel internationally, primarily to Sub-Saharan Africa.

The charity boosts climate innovation in the UK and Global South. It’s support brings clean energy to African villages and refugee camps and fixes up the UK’s cold and draughty homes. It makes schools more sustainable, and helps communities protect and restore the nature around them.

As Scientific and Patient Information Manager, you will work in the Medical Education and Scientific Engagement Team at Myeloma Patients Europe (MPE). Under the Department Head and MPE Leadership Team, collaborating with the Head of Communications, you will oversee the following projects and activities: 

Patient information and communications management (Approx. 55%)

A key role of MPE is providing up-to-date, comprehensive, and patient friendly educational materials and tools for our members and the patient community, as well as communicating about scientific advances in myeloma and AL amyloidosis. This role will be responsible for working across MPE to develop a patient information and educational plan and develop and deliver resources. MPE expects the appointed person to:

• Perform efficient scientific watch (monitoring advancements in research and clinical development)
• Lead the development and implementation of a patient information plan based on member and patient needs, scientific advances and cross-department projects
• Monitor the readership and usage of MPE patient information materials, incorporating website user analytics and feedback from users to increase the reach and impact of the department
• Research, write, and develop patient information and educational materials (including factsheets, Q&As, webinars and infographics). Manage the execution of materials from development through to publication in coordination with Department Head, other MPE departments, and external stakeholders (key opinion leaders, industry, researchers, proofreaders etc.)
• Work with the MPE Communications Team to develop website news stories, e-Newsletter and social media content related to clinical and scientific updates. This will include planning new and innovative ways of disseminating scientific and medical information to patients
• Attending (in person and/or virtually) scientific congresses and developing conference and scientific meeting summaries, organising post-conference webinars for patients in collaboration with the Communication Team

European Myeloma and AL Amyloidosis Clinical Trial Navigator Management (Approximately 35%)

MPE has developed an online clinical trial search tool of European myeloma and AL amyloidosis clinical trials for patients and advocates. This role will be responsible for the management, improvement, and promotion of this core MPE programme, with a focus on ensuring the tool and content is patient friendly, including:

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate database of all industry and academic recruiting myeloma, AL amyloidosis, MGUS, and smouldering myeloma clinical trials in Europe
• Write and format lay / patient friendly clinical trial descriptions for the Navigator website
• Liaise with industry and academic clinical trial sponsors, clinical trial sites, and other stakeholders to maintain database up-to-date
• Liaise with web developers to manage the Navigator website, make enhancements, and fix technical issues
• Oversee implementation of translated materials in multiple languages
• Elicit feedback from patients, family members, clinicians and other stakeholders to ensure continued improvement and enhancements
• Manage website news and content

Other 10% 

• Staff meetings, annual events, support the rest of the team with clinical and scientific information, answer inquiries from patients, carers and MPE members.

About you

Essential

• A Bachelor’s or a Master’ s degree in a relevant scientific field
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience
• Demonstrable experience (and tested during the interview process) of writing and communicating scientific/complex information for lay audiences across different media
• Ability to understand, critically read and process complex scientific information (from clinical trials, scientific papers, conference talks etc) – and communicating about this in lay, patient friendly language
• Excellent capacity for analysis and communicating (verbally and in writing) clearly for a range of different audiences
• Demonstrable project management experience
• Excellent level of both written and spoken English
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to lead and work independently on assigned tasks and take appropriate initiatives
• Confidence in representing an organisation in meetings with external stakeholders at all levels

About MPE

SUMMARY OF ROLE

The PR & Marketing Manager is a specialist media and storytelling lead within RABI’s Marketing and Communications team, with a core focus on strengthening the charity’s voice across agricultural, regional and national media. This pivotal role requires a journalistically minded communications professional with a strong track record in media engagement, story sourcing, and reactive PR. With a firm grasp of audience insight, campaign messaging and fast-paced content development, the postholder will manage all inbound media enquiries, drive proactive press activity, and lead the creation of compelling editorial and campaign copy that elevates RABI’s brand and influence.

The role reports to the Senior Strategic Communications Manager and is supported by the Marketing & Communications Coordinator. It will work closely with colleagues across the organisation to uncover impactful stories, draft powerful messaging and manage time-sensitive responses. This role is ideal for a media professional with experience in journalism, public relations or press office environments who brings a blend of creativity, copywriting skill, and newsroom agility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

PR and Media Relations

• Lead the delivery of RABI’s press office function, including proactive media outreach, reactive response, and managing journalist relationships.
• Continually scope, plan and deliver media engagement activity to secure positive and frequent press coverage across agricultural, health, regional, and national media.
• Draft compelling press releases, media packs, statements, and comment pieces aligned to RABI’s strategic priorities.
• Cultivate and maintain a live, segmented database of journalists, editors, sector influencers and media contacts.
• Serve as contact for media handling during high-profile campaigns, events, or issues, supported by senior colleagues and external PR agency partners.

Campaign Marketing and Creative Development

Publications and Content Planning

• Oversee the planning and delivery of RABI’s outward-facing publications and branded content, ensuring they align with organisational priorities, audience needs, and campaign timelines.
• Act as editorial lead—commissioning, writing, and editing content in collaboration with internal teams, external contributors, designers and printers.
• Manage project timelines and workflows for all publications, from initial scoping through to production and distribution, ensuring content is delivered to a consistently high standard and to deadline.

Digital Collaboration and Integrated Marketing

• Work in close partnership with the Digital Communications team on the cohesive planning and delivery of integrated campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
• Support the Digital Communication team’s planning and rollout of supporter journeys via email, ensuring communications that reflect RABI’s brand voice and objectives.
• Input into CRM-led campaign planning using Microsoft Dynamics 365, helping segment audiences, personalise outreach and track engagement.
• Share campaign results and insights with the Digital Communications team to jointly evaluate performance and identify opportunities for refinement and learning.

Team and Project Leadership

• Line-manage the Marketing & Communications Coordinator, ensuring clear direction, regular feedback, and development support.
• Support the delivery of integrated campaign plans led by the Senior Strategic Communications Manager, ensuring timely implementation of PR and marketing deliverables.

Brand Awareness and Recognition

• Identify new opportunities to grow brand awareness and RABI’s share of voice within the agricultural and wider wellbeing sectors.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in public relations, media engagement, or campaign marketing, with a demonstrable track record of leading successful, high-profile communications activity.

Role Summary

The Conduit Foundation harnesses the power of convening, collaboration, and catalytic funding to advance innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing social and environmental challenges. We are in rapid start-up mode, having recently begun accepting our first grants and moving quickly to build our operating model. This will be the first full-time hire into the Foundation, working hand-in-hand with the Board of Trustees and the Chief Impact Officer to operationalise our mission, establish systems and processes, and set the stage for ambitious, high-impact fundraising, grant management, programme delivery, and partnership development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Leadership

Translate the Conduit executive leadership and Foundation Board’s vision into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.

Collaborate with The Conduit’s Impact team to integrate Foundation initiatives into broader Conduit strategy.

Identify and cultivate opportunities for funding, partnerships, and programme innovation.

2. Grants Management

Oversee the full grant cycle – from prospecting to evaluation - managing relationships, projects and budgets.

Ensure all grant activities meet legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, including England & Wales charity compliance.

Develop robust processes for impact measurement and reporting.

3. Board Development & Governance

We are looking for an experienced senior manager to lead our strategic communications, external engagement and network development. The post holder will champion The Politics Project’s mission, strengthen its profile, and foster partnerships that help empower young people.

We work with young people, teachers, youth practitioners and politicians to help them learn, teach and engage in democracy. We are a non-partisan organisation working across the UK. 

ABOUT DEMOCRACY CLASSROOM

Democracy Classroom is a partnership of over 100 civil society organisations from the youth, education and democracy sectors working together to support young people to engage in elections and democracy. 

The network is supported by the Democracy Classroom Platform, which brings together over 1000 free educational resources for teachers and youth practitioners.

Democracy Classroom is a non-partisan, UK-wide initiative and a leading voice for the sector, reaching teachers and youth practitioners in 95% of the UK’s parliamentary constituencies. It coordinates the collective voice of organisations committed to democratic education, including through its joint submission to the Department for Education’s Curriculum and Assessment Review and the publication of The Roadmap to Votes at 16, a collaborative vision for the implementation of Votes at 16.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Head of Communications and Networks will amplify The Politics Project’s voice, build strategic partnerships and strengthen collaboration across the youth, education and democracy sectors. You will lead on communications, stakeholder engagement and the continued development of the Democracy Classroom Network.

You will oversee a team responsible for communications, partnerships and events, providing leadership and guidance to ensure clear messaging, impactful storytelling and strong, coordinated engagement across the sector. The post holder will combine strategic thinking with strong operational delivery, managing both the external profile of the organisation and the networks that underpin its reach and influence.

Key responsibilities include:

Communications

• Develop and lead The Politics Project’s communications strategy to raise visibility and strengthen reputation.
• Ensure clear, consistent messaging across all channels, including website, social media, newsletters and press.
• Lead media relations, drafting press releases, handling journalist enquiries and identifying media opportunities.
• Monitor and evaluate communications activity to measure reach, engagement and influence.

Partnerships and networks

• Work with the Partnerships Manager and Director to cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders across civil society, government, education and youth sectors.
• Oversee the day-to-day running of the Democracy Classroom Network, including partner communications, newsletters and database management.
• Create opportunities for collaboration and knowledge-sharing between organisations, policymakers and institutions.
• Oversee the Democracy Classroom Platform and ensure it continues to grow as a trusted resource hub for teachers and practitioners.
• Act as The Politics Project’s representative and ambassador at external meetings, conferences and events.

Leadership and management

• Lead and mentor the communications and networks team, including line management of the Partnerships Manager, Communications Lead and Programme Coordinator.

• Oversee evaluation and monitoring of communications and network activities, producing reports as required.

This is a fast-paced senior management role in a small but growing organisation. The post includes a six-month probation period and is fixed-term until March 2027, with the potential of extension depending on funding.
