Reporting into the Head of Human Resources, you will work closely with colleagues across the charity to design and deliver impactful, inclusive learning programmes and interventions that enable Turn2us’s people to feel empowered to deliver on system-changing strategy.

• Work with the Director of People and Culture and Head of Human Resources to develop the organisation’s L&D strategy, ensuring alignment with Turn2us’s mission and strategic priorities.
• Conduct regular skills audits and create tailored learning pathways across the organisation.
• Collaborate with the EDIB Committee to embed inclusive, equitable training at all levels.
• Create and deliver management development training covering leadership, compliance, and best practice.
• Design onboarding and induction programmes that set new staff up for success.
• Establish metrics to measure learning impact and foster continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain a central knowledge hub, including external partnerships with learning providers.

About You:

• Experienced in L&D strategy, training needs analysis, and programme design.

Glasspool is a UK-wide grant funder, established in 1939 with a permanent endowment from Richard Louveteau Glasspool, a Hertfordshire businessman and philanthropist. He experienced financial hardship as a young man, but when his income became more than enough to meet his personal needs, he started to provide financial support to individuals. In 2025, BIAS is expanding its successful Brent-based welfare and housing advice service into Haringey borough. The Advice Services Manager will work closely with the Operations Manager to build and develop the new advice service in Haringey, ensuring that we replicate our excellent quality of service, strong record of positive outcomes and loyal client base.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. This role will be based in our advice offices in Willesden and Haringey[1] but there may be some options for flexible working (i.e. one or two days per week).

ABOUT BIAS

BIAS is a local charity which has supported England’s largest Irish community in Brent for over forty-five years. We deliver our support through our welfare advice drop-in service, our active ageing clubs and our Be-a-Friend volunteer scheme. We raise over £2 million in extra income for the most vulnerable every year and have over 3000 attendances at our club services. 3. About the Role

This is a brand-new role with the exciting opportunity to help shape and grow Save the Rhino International’s fundraising from high-net-worth individuals, charitable family trusts and foundations, and corporate partners who share our passion for conservation. As Senior Philanthropy and Partnership Manager, you will lead on building and managing relationships with both new and existing supporters, helping to secure significant funding to support our long-term goals.

You’ll be responsible for the full supporter and partner journey, from identifying and approaching new prospects, to developing tailored proposals, making personal asks, and delivering excellent stewardship. You’ll bring a collaborative approach, strong communication skills, and a flair for building lasting partnerships based on shared values and trust.

This is both a strategic and hands-on role, working closely with colleagues across fundraising and communications. It’s ideal for someone with a strong track record in philanthropy and partnership fundraising who’s ready to take the lead and make a real impact for rhinos in the wild.

4. Key Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and direction
  • Review and refine the philanthropy and partnerships objectives and targets within our 2025–2030 organisational strategy, annual workplans and budgets, with the aim of increasing five- and six-figure donations
     
• Prospect identification and pipeline development
  • Identify new prospects across high-net-worth individuals, family trusts and foundations, and corporate trusts and foundations
  • Maintain and develop a robust pipeline of prospects and funders, using data insights and forecasting to inform planning and prioritisation
  • Conduct due diligence to ensure alignment with Save the Rhino’s values and ethical fundraising practices
     
• Relationship building, cultivation and stewardship
  • Nurture long-term relationships with existing and prospective high net-worth individuals, charitable family trusts and foundations, corporate supporters, and Donor-Advised Funds

5. Person specification

Essential skills and experience

• Proven ability to design and implement fundraising strategies for high value donors, including developing cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans
• Minimum 3 years’ fundraising experience with high net-worth individuals, family trusts and foundations and proven track record of securing and managing significant five and six figure donations
• Experience in developing stewardship and recognition strategies that deepen engagement and foster long-term support
• Knowledge of key sector regulations and guidance, including from the Charity Commission, Fundraising Regulator, and Chartered Institute of Fundraising, with a strong understanding of GDPR and data protection
• Experience using CRM systems and fundraising databases, with an understanding of how to apply data mining and segmentation strategies to support donor engagement and income generation
• Experience of developing high-quality funding proposals and narrative and financial reports
• Very strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence with the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across geographies and cultures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex issues into compelling content that engages and inspires through storytelling
• Ability to work independently and accurately with attention to detail and meet deadlines as well as collaboratively as a part of cross-cutting teams across organisations
• Financial competence in budgeting, income and expenditure management

Prospectus are excited to be working with our client to help them recruit for a Trusts Manager to join their fundraising team. The charity was set up in December 2003 to ensure that bereaved children and their families receive the best possible support following the death of a loved one. They are a leading UK bereavement charity, providing free, professional services and support to more than 3,000 bereaved children, young people and their families a year. They predominantly work in London, but also in Bristol and Essex, and provide a national reach through their helpline ‘grieftalk’ and through the distribution of Grief Relief Kits.

The role is offered on a permanent basis with a salary of £38,000 to £40,000 per annum with a flexible hybrid working model between home and their London office.  

The post holder will be responsible for researching and applying for relevant funding streams to exceed the fundraising team’s annual target. They will be responsible for building and maintaining excellent working relationships with a portfolio of current and prospective funders. The postholder will work with colleagues to package existing services into compelling proposals as well as supporting with developing new project proposals.

They are looking for someone with a demonstrable track record of securing 5-figure grants and donations within a Trusts and Foundations team. They are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience in writing high-quality applications, reporting on the impact of funded projects, and managing relationships with funders. The ideal candidate will have a personal interest to develop knowledge and understanding of childhood bereavement and the organisation's services, as well as their costs and funding needs, to be able to talk confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
