Job description

Prospectus are excited to be working exclusively with Deafblind UK to help them recruit for a Trust Fundraising Officer to their growing team. Deafblind UK has been providing vital support to people who have sight and hearing loss, helping them to live the life they want for more than 90 years. They help people to build their confidence and independence; continuing their lives beyond sight and hearing loss.

This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis paying £25,000 per annum to be wholly home based with flexible hours.

The post holder will be tasked with drafting well written, creative and compelling funding applications to trust and foundations. They will be expected to carry out detailed research to identify and/or verify application opportunities across the trust and grant sector. The post holder will be expected to report to funders and update their records on the database. They will be responsible for the stewardship of donors and send be-spoke thank you letters.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable track record of writing and securing funding from Trust and Foundations with a demonstrable understanding of the sector.
