Our Counsellors are a lifeline to people in need of talking treatment providing a safe clinical space for individuals to speak out about negative life events and take back control of their lives. We are now recruiting a qualified counsellor to offer life-changing, talking treatments to adults experiencing mild to moderate mental health and wellbeing needs in GP practices across the Rhondda. You will need to be confident in delivering person-centred counselling /psychotherapy to adults in the medium of their choice face to face, online and telephone contract.

Role Purpose

· Face to face, online and telephone counselling

· To ensure that all face to face, online and telephone counselling appointments are ethical, and safe in line with best practice recommendations from BACP, NCS and UKCP

· To work in partnership with GP practices and Primary Care Mental Health Support Services, liaising and nurturing key relationships, e.g. GP Practice leads to ensure positive outcomes for people who use our counselling services

· To maintain accurate data and client records in line with GDPR, GP requests and the Mind Quality Mark

Main duties and responsibilities

To uphold and promote best practice in the delivery of high-quality person-centred counselling / psychotherapy services to ensure all Cwm Taf Morgannwg Mind services are safe, ethical and client centred in line with the Mind Quality Mark.

To accurately capture data taking direction from the Counselling supervisor, and colleagues in Primary Care to ensure robust quality monitoring is undertaken and all patient notes accounted for in the delivery of counselling /psychotherapeutic services.

In collaboration with internal and external colleagues to explore how we can improve the counselling / psychotherapeutic experience for people who use our services, implementing recommendations and learning from clinical supervision, team meetings, line management meetings, and your own reflections to improve and refine your professional counselling practice. To ensure the continuous development and sustainability of our services for all in need.

About the role
The Corporate Partnerships Manager role is responsible for delivery across the breadth of the partnerships pipeline.  An estimated 50% of the role will be devoted to new business development, including prospect identification, and shaping and delivering pitches and proposals to corporates and their foundations to meet fundraising targets.  The remaining 50% of partnership work will be dedicated to delivering an excellent standard of partnership management to several longstanding existing supporters, working creatively to identify and develop opportunities to maximise their impact.

As our corporate supporters can be powerful partners in the delivery of our advocacy and communications goals you will be confident working with colleagues internally to translate campaign plans into engagement opportunities for private sector partners. You will also be able to co-ordinate colleagues to meet new business deadlines and to ensure agreed partnership deliverables are achieved.

This role sits within our Philanthropy and Partnerships team of five, who focus on income generation through grants, philanthropy, corporate partnerships and individual giving and fundraising.  The post holder will work particularly closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, as well as equipping Directors and our CEO to engage corporate partners and prospects where appropriate.  As a member of a comparatively small, highly ambitious team, there may, with time, be opportunities for the post holder to extend their experience beyond corporate partnerships, into other fundraising areas, should your skill set meet an identified need.

About you
You may be an established corporate fundraiser seeking a role where you can take on greater responsibility for managing your own pipeline of prospects and key partnerships.  Equally you may come from outside the sector and be able to offer clearly transferable experience of securing and developing partnerships (especially those with a “purpose” focus).

Role: The Forces Employment Charity (FEC) is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Specialist Employment Consultant to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate and coordinate employment case-working support for CTP (Assist), Service Leavers (SLs) and Veterans, up to 2 years post-discharge and job role reports to CTP (Assist) Manager. The goal is to assist them in finding appropriate and sustainable civilian employment or other suitable vocational outcomes.

The Role is based at MoD Personnel Recovery Centre (Catterick) / MoD Personnel Recovery Unit (PRU Catterick) and hybrid.

This part-time, permanent position involves a 28-hour work week and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of Service Leavers (SLs) and Veterans.

The first round of interviews will be conducted face-to-face at Catterick PRC on 21st June 2024.

Principal Responsibilities:

​

• Deliver specialist vocational case-working support to allocated CTP (Assist) clients in order that they achieve their Preferred Vocational Outcomes (PVOs).
• Provide effective CTP (Assist) case working support using the CTP (Assist) Work instructions and database.
• As a member of the Recovery Units CTP (Assist) casework handling team, work with relevant MoD staff to deliver the employment aspects of CTP (Assist) Individual Recovery Plans (IRPs).
• Act as the CTP (Assist) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to PRU staff and local units, working alongside another SEC.
• Provide career, employment advice and guidance to allocated CTP (Assist) clients in accordance with their IRPs and Vocational Assessment (VA) provided under CTP.
• Coordinate CTP (Assist) client access to training opportunities, supporting their applications for additional training grants as necessary.
• Identify and source suitable Personnel on Recovery Duty (PRD) specific work based training and work experience opportunities within the geographical area in accordance with their IRPs. 
• Ensure all CTP (Assist) employment, training and vocational opportunities sourced are fed into the affiliated regional Employer Relationship Manager (ERM), thus ensuring a joined up and integrated CTP employer engagement approach.
• Delivery/Facilitation of SEC components of Recovery Transition Workshop courses and support CTW+/CRE courses as requested.
• Identify and subsequently engage with Training and Adult Education providers to identify opportunities that meet clients’ requirements in accordance with IRPs.
• As required, provide in work support to ensure client vocational outcomes are sustainable.
• Monitor successful employment placement success for CTP (Assist) clients as a key component of overall outcomes.
• When required and appropriate, work closely with regional teams such as:

•            CTP Regional Resettlement Centre (RRC) & Career Consultants (CCs)

•             Future Horizon Employment Advisor (s)

•             FEC Ex-Forces Employment Advisors (Veterans)

• Maintain accuracy and integrity in all interactions with the CTP BMS, Job site, and the CTP website and tools, ensuring timely recording of all client and employer engagement activity.

​Main purpose of the post 

We are seeking to appoint a Business Development Coordinator to join a wider team that spearheads RUSI’s research fundraising efforts. Reporting to the Director, Research Business Development, the successful candidate will enhance the institute’s business development activities by providing administrative and coordination support for business development, contracts, and risk management. Working closely with research groups, central services teams, and the senior management team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that RUSI is well-placed to spot and respond to new funding opportunities and that our contracts are high-quality and executed efficiently. 

This is a highly collaborative role that involves building very strong internal relationships at all levels of the organisation and managing competing priorities and deadlines. We are seeking a team player with a pragmatic and positive attitude and excellent attention to detail, who will enjoy taking on new challenges, using your initiative to solve problems, and seeing your work directly contribute to meeting our short- and long-term goals.

​Key tasks 

Tracking, identifying, and sharing new funding opportunities:  

• Conduct research to identify potential funders and grant opportunities, populate and maintain a prospects tracker. Ensure we have an accurate and current map of relevant funders at all times to draw from.

• Manage the Business Development email inbox, ensuring we are registered to all relevant portals and that we are regularly checking funder portals that do not send notifications. Share summaries of relevant opportunities with the BD Director along with suggested dissemination plan, agree next steps and follow up with appropriate Research Groups.

• Support research colleagues to identify funders to invite to RUSI events and draft outreach emails.

Providing administrative and coordination support on bids, contracts, and new business activities: 

• Assist the Bids Manager with compiling information about RUSI as an organisation, its registrations, policies, organisational structure, banking and insurance details, financial information, and other generic details to be included in bid submissions and for due diligence. 

• Support the Bids Manager/Director of Research Business Development with administration and coordination of specific components on large bids.

Maintaining and improving business development processes and systems: 

• Ensure the business development team trackers (action log, new funding opportunities etc.) are accurate and up to date. 

• Work closely with RUSI’s Legal and Contracts and Finance teams to finalise funder contracts and ensure that final copies are saved centrally, and key information is distributed to relevant teams. Ensure that relevant and accurate funder information is tracked by the finance system for ongoing analysis. 

• Review drafts of subcontractor agreements and work closely with RUSI’s Legal and Contracts team to manage the process for preparing, securing approval, finalising, and sharing sub-contracts. 

• Act as central point of contact for the research funding pipeline, ensure it is functioning as needed and respond to ad hoc questions.

• Manage the team’s Sharepoint page, ensuring that it is useful and relevant for research colleagues, with high-quality templates and guidance.

• In coordination with colleagues on the Communications team, update RUSI’s customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate, relevant and up-to-date funder information and develop and promote best practice for CRM usage for BD.

• Update RUSI funders on the website annually, ensuring that they are accurate and that we have appropriate permissions to acknowledge them publicly.

• Assist in preparing training materials and internal presentations, including by conducting data analysis. 

• Schedule regular catch ups with research groups, take and share notes in appropriate formats, update trackers. 

• Take accurate and useful minutes and share and follow up on action points after Business Development meetings.

• Establish strong working relationships with research teams, central service teams, and senior management.

• Assist with administrative tasks for the business development team as needed, including setting up tech (Zoom/Teams) meetings, coordinating diaries, and booking meetings.

Managing the institutional Risk Management process:  

• Be responsible for ensuring that risk registers are maintained and updated across the Institute to track risk within the organisation.

• Attend all Audit & Risk Committee meetings to update members on changes to the risk register, and take minutes for each meeting. 

• Work with the COO and Business Development team to ensure that RUSI has in place all policies and procedures across the Institute that are required by funders on various projects. 

• Assist the COO in keeping up to date with all Charity Commission guidance on charity operations and compliance.

The BNSSG VCSE Alliance exists to enable diverse VCSE organisations to engage and participate in system-wide changes to health and care services. We are seeking a VCSE Brokerage Manager to lead the development of a Brokerage Framework, which will provide a clear, fair, inclusive and proportionate way for health and social care system partners to reach VCSE organisations.

About Us

The Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) VCSE Alliance launched in January 2024. It aims to influence and facilitate greater collaboration between the regional health system (BNSSG Integrated Care System) and the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector (VCSE). It seeks to do this by enhancing the role of the VCSE sector in the delivery and transformation of wellbeing and health, and cementing our sector’s role as a key strategic partner in the planning, design and delivery of health and care, in its widest possible definition.  

The co-design of a new ‘VCSE Brokerage Framework’ with colleagues from the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and System (ICS) is a key priority for the VCSE Alliance in 2024-25. The aim of the Brokerage Framework is to provide a clear, fair, inclusive and proportionate way for health and social care system partners to reach a diverse range of VCSE organisations. The intention is for it to be a new process by which grants and opportunities can be distributed to the sector. 

This is a really exciting time to join the Alliance and deliver a new innovative process which has the potential to be transformative for Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.

The Role

The VCSE Brokerage Manager’s role is to lead on the further development, piloting, and preparation for launch of the Brokerage Framework. The role will work closely with colleagues across the VCSE Alliance and the health and social care system. Ensuring that diverse VCSE organisations, from micro to large scale and that serve communities of interest, of place and of practice are included and enabled in the brokerage framework will be crucial to the success of this role.

• ability to prioritise tasks and deliver / produce work under pressure and to deadlines. 

• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds and roles.

You’ll work as part of a dispersed IT Support Team providing support and advice to colleagues within the Fund helping them to ensure that we’re able to help as many communities as possible to deliver life changing outcomes to those in need. Based in the Newcastle office and reporting to the IT Support Manager. The support you provide will be both remote and in person. Internal training will be provided.

The IT Support Team fulfils a range of roles and responsibilities, and whilst playing your part in delivering life changing funding you won’t have a typical day. As a first point of contact for all our customers you’ll engage with them to fully understand all their needs and provide support and solutions to fulfil and exceed their expectations.

Working closely with colleagues across the department, the IT Support Team ensures our customers benefit from an excellent enabling service provision in incident management and resolution, and request fulfilment. Whilst taking ownership and managing support tickets using our Service Portal, you’ll follow established protocols escalating issues as needed. Responsibilities will progress to include administration tasks, office support, stock management, general housekeeping of office equipment, reconciliation, device deployment, printer troubleshooting, finance systems, HR systems, desktop/software support, and mobile device applications.

Essential criteria:

• Experience in working within a customer support/service role where providing the highest level of customer service was key.
• Experience with technical administrative tasks.

• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, Teams, Office, SharePoint.

Desirable criteria

• Knowledge of Microsoft systems and applications (Windows and Azure/Intune)

Working within the Money Advice Service, the Senior MAS Adviser supports clients with a range of debt and welfare rights issues, providing advice and information in person, via email and on the phone.
