Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan to grow revenue from trusts and foundations, building on the organization's current annual income of approximately £800,000 from these sources.
• Conduct prospect research to identify new funding opportunities aligned with the Liverpool Philharmonic's mission and programs.
• Craft compelling proposals, reports, and other materials that articulate the impact of Liverpool Philharmonic's work and make a persuasive case for support.
• Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective trust and foundation funders, cultivating strong relationships through exemplary stewardship and communication.
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Philanthropy and other colleagues to align fundraising efforts and ensure a cohesive donor experience.

Key Information:

• Salary: £33,500 per annum (pro-rata if part-time)

The Bike Project is looking for a new Fundraising Executive to join our team. This role supports all of our fundraising activity so will give the post holder exposure to all areas of fundraising from Major Doors to Corporate Partnerships, Events and Fundraising Appeals. Alongside this the role will manage the relationships and support given to our Community Fundraisers and our participants in London to Brighton and Ride 100 events.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about raising money to fund the work of The Bike Project.  You will need to have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects.  The role holder will need to have experience working in customer service and be confident using digital platforms and apps to enhance working practices. Although desirable, fundraising experience is not essential as training will be provided.

Being a small charity, we work in an agile manner which allows for creative ideas to flourish and new ideas to be implemented quickly. We hold donation sessions weekly out of our London and Birmingham workshops, so there is opportunity to see the impact of your work first hand.

Role: The Forces Employment Charity (FEC) is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Specialist Employment Consultant to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate and coordinate employment case-working support for CTP (Assist), Service Leavers (SLs) and Veterans, up to 2 years post-discharge and job role reports to CTP (Assist) Manager. The goal is to assist them in finding appropriate and sustainable civilian employment or other suitable vocational outcomes.

The Role is based at MoD Personnel Recovery Centre (Catterick) / MoD Personnel Recovery Unit (PRU Catterick) and hybrid.

This part-time, permanent position involves a 28-hour work week and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of Service Leavers (SLs) and Veterans.

The first round of interviews will be conducted face-to-face at Catterick PRC on 21st June 2024.

Principal Responsibilities:

​

• Deliver specialist vocational case-working support to allocated CTP (Assist) clients in order that they achieve their Preferred Vocational Outcomes (PVOs).
• Provide effective CTP (Assist) case working support using the CTP (Assist) Work instructions and database.
• As a member of the Recovery Units CTP (Assist) casework handling team, work with relevant MoD staff to deliver the employment aspects of CTP (Assist) Individual Recovery Plans (IRPs).
• Act as the CTP (Assist) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to PRU staff and local units, working alongside another SEC.
• Provide career, employment advice and guidance to allocated CTP (Assist) clients in accordance with their IRPs and Vocational Assessment (VA) provided under CTP.
• Coordinate CTP (Assist) client access to training opportunities, supporting their applications for additional training grants as necessary.
• Identify and source suitable Personnel on Recovery Duty (PRD) specific work based training and work experience opportunities within the geographical area in accordance with their IRPs. 
• Ensure all CTP (Assist) employment, training and vocational opportunities sourced are fed into the affiliated regional Employer Relationship Manager (ERM), thus ensuring a joined up and integrated CTP employer engagement approach.
• Delivery/Facilitation of SEC components of Recovery Transition Workshop courses and support CTW+/CRE courses as requested.
• Identify and subsequently engage with Training and Adult Education providers to identify opportunities that meet clients’ requirements in accordance with IRPs.
• As required, provide in work support to ensure client vocational outcomes are sustainable.
• Monitor successful employment placement success for CTP (Assist) clients as a key component of overall outcomes.
• When required and appropriate, work closely with regional teams such as:

•            CTP Regional Resettlement Centre (RRC) & Career Consultants (CCs)

•             Future Horizon Employment Advisor (s)

•             FEC Ex-Forces Employment Advisors (Veterans)

• Maintain accuracy and integrity in all interactions with the CTP BMS, Job site, and the CTP website and tools, ensuring timely recording of all client and employer engagement activity.

The BNSSG VCSE Alliance exists to enable diverse VCSE organisations to engage and participate in system-wide changes to health and care services. We are seeking a VCSE Brokerage Manager to lead the development of a Brokerage Framework, which will provide a clear, fair, inclusive and proportionate way for health and social care system partners to reach VCSE organisations.

About Us

The Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) VCSE Alliance launched in January 2024. It aims to influence and facilitate greater collaboration between the regional health system (BNSSG Integrated Care System) and the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector (VCSE). It seeks to do this by enhancing the role of the VCSE sector in the delivery and transformation of wellbeing and health, and cementing our sector’s role as a key strategic partner in the planning, design and delivery of health and care, in its widest possible definition.  

The co-design of a new ‘VCSE Brokerage Framework’ with colleagues from the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and System (ICS) is a key priority for the VCSE Alliance in 2024-25. The aim of the Brokerage Framework is to provide a clear, fair, inclusive and proportionate way for health and social care system partners to reach a diverse range of VCSE organisations. The intention is for it to be a new process by which grants and opportunities can be distributed to the sector.

The Role

The VCSE Brokerage Manager’s role is to lead on the further development, piloting, and preparation for launch of the Brokerage Framework. The role will work closely with colleagues across the VCSE Alliance and the health and social care system. Ensuring that diverse VCSE organisations, from micro to large scale and that serve communities of interest, of place and of practice are included and enabled in the brokerage framework will be crucial to the success of this role.

Furthering Talent helps musicians from the earliest stage in their musical journey. The programme is specifically designed to help young people from low income families sustain their musical learning after initial state-funded whole-class lessons end, so they can keep on progressing and playing music well into their teens and beyond. The programme aims to effect significant change in how the musical potential of young people from low-income families is identified and supported.

You will be the first point of contact and support for the team of Connectors in your Hubs, attending Teachers’ Forums and Get Togethers where possible and helping with the coordination of data gathering and management. You will help drive the promotion of the Connector role and handle any incoming Connector enquiries via the Young Sounds website, allocating them to the appropriate Connector. You will oversee the mentoring and youth voice offer in each Hub. Salary: Salaries at Global Greengrants Fund UK (GGF UK) are dependent on applicable salary scales, internal pay policies including equity considerations and budget. Due to the ways in which salary negotiations perpetuate existing structural inequities, GGF UK has moved away from salary negotiation processes for any candidate. Our best offer for this position is £55,000 per annum

Global Greengrants Fund (GGF) supports grassroots activists and civil society organisations around the world working to address environmental and social justice in over 160 countries.  GGF applies a participatory and decentralised model in making grants to grassroots groups through regional and thematic boards of advisors, global partner networks and independent funds, to support grassroots environmental and social justice action.

Global Greengrants Fund comprises two organisations located in the USA, Global Greengrants Fund Inc (established in 1993), and Global Greengrants Fund UK (established in 2012). The two organisations work closely together with a shared grantmaking programme and strategic collaboration at the senior leadership level. GGF UK consists of thirteen staff members working on fundraising and influencing philanthropy; finance; communications; and operations, with all of these functions operating autonomously but in close collaboration with their US counterpart functions.

The Executive Administrator needs to understand the challenges and opportunities that come with these transformations and can remain flexible, steady, and adaptable.

The role

Global Greengrants Fund UK is looking to hire an energetic and passionate individual who will play a key role in collaborating across teams to support the Executive Director and senior leadership team to become more effective and strategic in their work. They will provide support to the leadership and governance of the organisation, working closely with the Executive Director, Director of Philanthropic Partnerships, Director of Finance and Operations and other team members as required to provide high-quality administrative and communications support to the organisation. The Executive Administrator will build strong relationships across GGF’s global team. The Executive Administrator will perform key support and clerical functions - preparing correspondence, research and briefings, handling confidential information, and taking notes at meetings. They will also support the management of large, often cross-functional organisation-wide initiatives, bringing together important stakeholders to help drive decisions. They will be responsible for calendar management (arranging conference calls among vast time zones)  and travel logistics. 

In the present accountability structures, the Executive Administrator reports to the Executive Director while building and working in more collaborative ways.

The candidate profile.

The successful applicant will have significant relevant experience in a similar role in a charitable, environmental, development, and/or grant-making organisation. They demonstrate knowledge and experience in charity/nonprofit administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to ensure accuracy of work and demonstrate precise attention to detail. They have experience dealing with administrative processes and office administration, especially in a non-profit, remote organisation. They will have skills to give, receive and work with feedback constructively. They must be meticulous with exceptionally strong follow-up and follow-through skills and have the ability to work under high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines. They should have excellent interpersonal understanding, relationship building, and interpersonal skills to build strong alliances with diverse constituencies with experience working with diverse communities from multiple identities across the globe, in a virtual environment. 

They also thrive in a virtual environment, motivated to take on challenges and collaboratively find innovative and creative solutions. 

English fluency is a must.

The BNSSG VCSE Alliance exists to enable diverse VCSE organisations to engage and participate in system-wide changes to health and care systems. We are seeking a VCSE Brokerage Administrator to support the development of a Brokerage Framework, working under the VCSE Brokerage Manager. The framework will provide a clear, fair, inclusive and proportionate way for health and social care partners to reach VCSE organisations.

About Us

The Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) VCSE Alliance launched in January 2024. It aims to influence and facilitate greater collaboration between the regional health system (BNSSG Integrated Care System) and the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise Sector (VCSE). It seeks to do this by enhancing the role of the VCSE sector in the delivery and transformation of wellbeing and health, and cementing our sector’s role as a key strategic partner in the planning, design and delivery of health and care, in its widest possible definition.  

The co-design of a new ‘VCSE Brokerage Framework’ with colleagues from the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and System (ICS) is a key priority for the VCSE Alliance in 2024-25. The aim of the Brokerage Framework is to provide a clear, fair, inclusive and proportionate way for health and social care system partners to reach a diverse range of VCSE organisations. The intention is that will be a new process by which grants and opportunities can be distributed to the sector. 

This is a really exciting time to join the Alliance and support the delivery of a new innovative process which has the potential to be transformative for Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. 

The Role:

The VCSE Brokerage Administrator's role is to support the further development, piloting, and preparation for launch of the VCSE Brokerage Framework. The role will work closely with the soon to be recruited VCSE Brokerage Manager and the current VCSE Alliance team. Ensuring that we have a clear, efficient and effective administrative process for the Brokerage Framework will be fundamental to its success.

About You

We're looking for someone who has experience of working in an administrative role who can bring a high level of competency, efficiency and organisation. You'll need to be able to work independently and use your own initiative at times, whilst being able to work with colleagues from multiple organisations.

You are an organised individual with a successful track record of administration and project support. Your skills include:

• Ability to develop and manage office systems, databases, and processes
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and organise own workload without supervision
• Ability to work with and maintain confidential data and information

The Details

• Location: Bristol, United Kingdom (Hybrid)
• Contract: 12 months, with potential for extension
• Salary: £28,383 per annum (FTE) - £17,259.93 (pro rata)
• Hours: 22.5 hours per week.
