The Head of Media is responsible for the Spokesperson Network and helping people in NEON’s networks make the most of media opportunities. They lead on strategy, developing high-level media contacts and managing staff associated with the programme. 

You will be someone who knows how to land stories and spokespeople in the media, capitalising on media and movement moments to push the conversation in a progressive direction. You’ll have a track record of jumping on opportunities, training spokespeople to deal with hostile interviews and staying calm under pressure. Overview of the Legacy Administrator role and the team

Barnabas Aid is looking for a detail-oriented and organised Legacy Administrator to join our International Support function within the Finance team. The Legacy Administrator will be responsible for managing all administrative aspects of legacy and will-related processes, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of gifts received through bequests, wills, and estates. Key skills and experience

• A track record of securing income from a range of statutory sources, including six figure grants (essential) - success at the seven figure+ grant level (desirable)

ECHO supports children and young people with heart conditions and their families, who have been treated within the Guy's and St Thomas' NHS network of 47 hospitals. Congenital heart disease is the most common birth defect and affects just under 1 in every 100 babies born throughout the UK.

ECHO helps from diagnosis, which is often during pregnancy, throughout any treatment and care pathway or bereavement. Families are supported at every stage of their heart child’s journey throughout childhood, teenage years and during the transition to adult services.

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Fundraising Manager to join us on a part-time or full-time basis (minimum 3 days per week). Working closely with colleagues, you’ll help develop systems and internal resources that ensure consistent branding and powerful messaging, boosting supporter engagement, generating vital income, and strengthening our connection with the communities in our three counties.

The main objectives of the role are to:

• Inspire and engage the public by promoting the mission and work of the Trust.
• Generate leads from public interactions, guiding them into our supporter journeys and recruiting new members and supporters for the Wildlife Trust for BCN.
• Support the Corporate Partnership team by participating in regular events, work parties, walks, and talks.
• Work with the Supporter Engagement Manager and the Communications Team to review and update the membership sections of the Trust website.

Please note that this role will require lone working and some weekend and evening working.

Working Hours:

Full Time (37.5 hours per week). Part time hours may be considered.

The Philanthropy team has huge growth targets over the next 3 years in order to support the ambitious growth of the organisation. We aim to double our network of generous donors, deepen engagement with those who are long standing supporters and broaden our global network of advocates.

The purpose of this role is primarily to support the Philanthropy team with recruitment and stewardship of World Fellows; the delivery of appropriate communications material and donor relationship management. You will manage your portfolio of donors and working with existing supporters, your goal will be to deepen their connection to our cause and inspire transformational gifts that support our work.

This is a truly collaborative role which involves work closely with colleagues across the Foundation, as well as some of our key supporters, to nurture meaningful and beneficial connections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day to day management and support of the Foundation’s World Fellowship programme and network; research, manage and develop donor relationships with a portfolio of donors.
• Plan and maintain regular contact with donors, through the use of events and relevant communications materials and publications.
• Working with the with the events team for the creation of invitation lists and event follow up.
• Independently account manage a group of donors, creating reports and other stewardship materials, and undertake day to day general relationship management.
• Undertake prospect research and the planning of relevant approaches to individuals; network mapping current donors and seeking introductions from current network where possible.
• Lead on the preparation of publications and relevant materials for all donors and supporters.
• Keep comprehensive records on our CRM, Salesforce.
• Ensure payments are requested and receipted in a timely fashion.
• Undertake any other duties as required to support the successful delivery of Fundraising Department objectives.

Luminary Ltd provides training, employment and community to some of the most disadvantaged women in London. We use baking as a tool to guide women towards employability and independence. We work alongside women who have experienced gender-based violence and live with ‘multiple disadvantage’. Our primary focus is helping these women achieve employment and reach independence - breaking the cycle of poverty, violence and disadvantage.

How we achieve our Mission

Over our two-year programme, women learn to bake, gain a catering qualification and develop transferable skills such as budgeting, interview techniques and resilience.  Women gain valuable work experience through our sister organisation, Luminary Bakery, as well as being paired with a volunteer mentor who helps her develop her career next steps.

Luminary Limited runs the Employability Support Programme, offering training, mentoring, and trauma-informed guidance to women on their journey to independence.

Luminary Bakery Ltd contributes to Luminary’s social impact by offering work experience placements, apprenticeships, and job opportunities for graduates of the charity’s training programmes. Luminary Bakery produces beautiful, artisanal baked goods and is working toward generating sustainable income to fund the charity.

The role
Luminary is entering an exciting phase in its development, transitioning from a small, founder-led start-up into a medium-sized charity. Over the past two years, we’ve experienced growth in our income, primarily through trusts and foundations. Building on this momentum, and with generous support from Comic Relief, we are now recruiting our first in-house fundraiser.

Location: Hybrid (3 days based on Luminary site and 2 days from home)

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement a fundraising strategy to define and meet annual income targets from various income streams, identifying opportunities for income growth. 
•  Research, identify and apply for grants and funding opportunities from trusts and foundations, and corporates. 
• Research, cultivate and manage relationships with prospective funders and individual donors. 
• Develop compelling funding proposals and pitches.
• Support the development and delivery of a communications strategy to support fundraising.
• Organise and support fundraising campaigns, events and initiatives to engage donors and stakeholders. 
• Monitor and report on fundraising performance, agreeing realistic targets and taking steps to maximise Luminary’s funding opportunities in order to fulfil financial targets.
• Take an active role in the Senior Leadership Team to ensure efficient management of the charity and attend quarterly Trustee Board meetings.
• Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices in fundraising, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Essential:

Due to the role responsibilities, it is a Genuine Occupational Requirement that the post holder is female, permitted under Schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010

Five years + experience in fundraising contributing to strategy as well as delivery.

Demonstrated  success in fundraising  with a proven track record of securing significant income from trusts and foundations, and/or major donors and corporate partners.
Skilled in relationship-based fundraising with experience of donor cultivation and stewardship to secure long-term partnerships.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop compelling funding proposals, persuasive pitches and impactful reports.
Experience in financial planning including creating and managing budgets, and financial analysis skills to track and report income performance.
Strategic and innovative thinker able to identify, assess and pursue new funding opportunities aligned with charity goals.
Highly organised, self-motivated and proactive with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
A genuine passion for Luminary’s mission, with a strong commitment to empowering women and creating social change.

Desirable:
-Experience in individual giving.
-Knowledge of social media strategy and experience running successful social media fundraising campaigns.
-Familiar with CRM systems.
-Experience of working with a communications team or agency.

Reporting to the Senior Communications & Marketing Manager, you will work with the whole team identifying the best ways to use our different channels to share our unique and inspiring stories and develop our profile at local, national and international levels. 

You will have experience of coordinating marketing and communications activity, ideally in a visitor-facing venue. 

You will have oversight of the website, social media platforms, e-newsletter and audience research programme and will support with press enquiries, PR and content development.
