Hey! We’re Urban Youth — and we’re just getting started.
We’re very excited to be launching a brand‑new youth work charity created to give young people across inner London the experiences, opportunities, and space they need to discover themselves and the world around them. A place rooted in care, creativity, belonging, and real connection. A community that feels like home.
We're looking for a passionate, youth culture understanding, inspirational Graphic Designer who can help us bring that energy to life, by designing our logo and brand guidelines. We're looking for a logo that young people would want to and be proud of wearing, and being seen in.
Urban Youth is all about possibility. We’re building a youth community where young people can explore who they are, try new things, grow in confidence, and feel part of something bigger. To make that happen, we need a designer with a brilliant visual mind — someone who can create a logo that feels modern, bold, and unmistakably Urban Youth.
This is your chance to shape the visual identity of a charity at the very beginning of its journey. If you love designing for purpose and creating visuals that speak directly to young people, we’d love to meet you.
Positive and engaging youth work activities and programmes that help young people discover themselves, build life skills and help shape their destiny.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.

Graphic Designer (Logo Designer)
REMOTE VOLUNTARY POSITION
We're in need of a volunteer who can give up some time to help us out by creating a logo and brand guide for our brand new social mobility charity.
At Unlock YOUR Potential, we believe an “accident of birth” should never determine a person’s destination. We are a new London‑based social mobility charity committed to breaking cycles of deprivation through holistic employability, wellbeing, and mentoring programmes that empower adults to thrive.
We are prioritising delivery in Newham and Tower Hamlets — two boroughs that rank among the top 10 most deprived areas nationally for employment and skills. The need here is real. The talent is abundant. The opportunity for impact is extraordinary.
We are looking for a creative, thoughtful, and mission‑driven designer who can craft a logo that:
-
Captures our purpose — breaking down barriers and unlocking potential
-
Communicates growth and transformation
-
Feels modern, bold, and full of possibility
-
Resonates with adults from working‑class and underserved communities
-
Works across digital, print, and social platforms
Your design will become the visual foundation of our charity — a symbol of hope, ambition, and opportunity for the communities we serve.
You will work closely with the Founder to design a modern, meaningful, and impactful logo that reflects our mission of growth, development, empowerment, and change.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.

VOLUNTEER GRAPHIC DESIGNER WANTED!
Help create the brand identity for a brand‑new youth counselling & support service in Newham
Flexible hours
Something exciting is taking root in Newham — The NYCAS (Newham Youth Counselling and Advice Service), our temporary working name, is in development. We’re building a warm, welcoming, safe space where young people aged 11–25 can access FREE, confidential support: counselling, talking therapies, art therapies, information, advice, guidance, and much more.
To bring this vision to life, we’re looking for a talented Graphic Designer to help us shape the visual identity of this new service — a brand that young people will instantly recognise, trust, and feel proud to engage with.
If you believe design can help young people feel seen, safe, and supported, this could be the perfect place to share your creativity.
About the Role
As our Volunteer Graphic Designer, you will play a key role in creating the full visual identity for NYCAS. Your work will help define how young people, families, schools, and the wider community see and understand who we are.
You will work closely with our Founder and early team to:
-
Design a brand‑new logo that reflects warmth, safety, and youth empowerment
-
Create a brand identity system (colours, typography, visual style, tone)
-
Produce a brand guide for future designers, staff, and volunteers
-
Develop early marketing and promotional assets to help us launch
-
Support us (if you wish) with ongoing creative needs such as:
-
Website imagery
-
Social media graphics
-
Posters, flyers, and print materials
-
Campaign visuals
-
Templates for future use
-
This is a hands‑on, meaningful creative role where your work will directly shape how a life‑changing youth service is seen and understood.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome designers from all backgrounds and levels of experience — whether you’re a student, emerging designer, or seasoned creative. What matters most is your passion for using design to make a difference.
We’d especially love to hear from people who are:
-
Passionate about youth mental health, wellbeing, and community impact
-
Skilled in graphic design, branding, or visual communication
-
Able to translate values like safety, warmth, and empowerment into visual identity
-
Comfortable working collaboratively and iteratively
-
Excited by the idea of building a brand from the ground up
-
Reliable, thoughtful, and able to bring creative ideas to life
Experience with tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Figma, or similar is helpful — but not essential if you have other ways of working.
If you have creativity, commitment, and a desire to help build something beautiful for young people — we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Gain
-
The chance to shape the founding visual identity of a brand‑new youth support service
-
A portfolio‑ready branding project with real‑world impact
-
Experience collaborating with a start‑up charity
-
A warm, supportive team
-
The deep satisfaction of helping create a service that will help young people thrive
Time Commitment
Flexible hours to fit around your committments, depending on your availability and the stage of the branding process. All work can be done remotely, with optional in‑person meetings in Newham, London.
Ready to help something beautiful grow?
We’d love to hear from you.
How to Apply
Please submit your up‑to‑date CV, portfolio (or examples of your work).
We will then review your portfolio and get back to you with a brief for the designs.
A warm, welcoming space where young people aged 11–25 can get free, confidential counselling, advice and support.
The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
